What the actual.... Every....single....time..... I order a drink from here they mess it up. My little brother used to joke that all the kids who did too many drugs from eastlake highschool worked here. Now I believe him. It's always the same person, does he get nervous around me? Absolutely horrible customer service. My 69 year old mother in law was excited to take my kids there for the Travis Scott meal, but they told her now they've changed their policy and she can only order it through the app. Downloading the app with 3 hungry grandkids in the car while driving wasn't a good option so she took them to DQ instead. read more

Look...first off, all McDonalds are terrible, and you really should never eat at one it you value your health. That being said this one is especially bad, incredibly slow and today after waiting in a drive thru for 5 minutes to get to the order screen they announce "only chicken and fish, no beef products are available" what!!!?! It's McDonalds...and of course once in the drive thru line there's no way out...so I ordered the filet o fish, ate it and immediately regretted the whole experience :( read more

While I recognize that McDonald's is a place for a quick fix at budget prices, the brand should have a certain amount of consistency. The service here is deplorable. If it happend one or twice, I wouldn't even mention it. The reality is that the quality of those working here leave much to be desired. Often orders are incorrect, the drive though is so slow, that it is not worth the time. To top it all off, the staff is rude. I will not be frequenting this establishment any longer. If you are looking to get your fast food fix in Sammamish. I would suggest the Jack In The Box across the street. They are superior in every respect. read more

Went through the drive through Sunday Feb 10 at 1pm and the response to my order was a monotone " is that all?" No thank you, etc. When I pulled up to pay, the kid with the blank stare wearing the UW hat just stared at me. So I stared back and then he finally told me what I owed. Never said thank you. The girl who gave me my food never said thank you either or sorry about the 15 minute wait in line. I've been here a couple times and the people must hate working there because they are never pleasant and NEVER SAY THANK YOU. The food is ok. This place has deteriorated in service the last 6 months. They can never get a to-go order right. And now with COVID19, you can't go back in to get your order fixed. They won't answer the phone because "they're too busy" so you're relegated to go through the drive-through again only to be met with "Let me see your receipt" and your fixed order thrown at you. Everytime I goto this McDonald's for breakfast and coffee,it is absolutely excellent! This group takes pride in there breakfast sandwiches,and they taste as good as they look! This group ,i do not know any of them, have been the only ones in my 49 years of life and probably ten thousand visits to McDonald's to pull off exactly what the heck that are supposed to look like and taste like. I'm serious when I say that,they totally deserve some kinda McDonald's medal of honor or achievement or recognition of some kind. McDonald's if your listening, if the rest of your restaurants could do what this group is doing in the morning, you may just stay in business. Maybe I am wrong but since my last visit a few weeks ago they just raised the price for a sausage egg mcMuffin by a dollar. For me except for their 1 dollar drinks I won't be eating there. I wonder if other McDonald's are raising theirs. I was I Ellensburg on Saturday where they were 90 cents cheaper. I have given this spot every chance:just got , thru drive thru, deluxe quarter pounder (which is suppose to be their big come back, made to order, fresh, juicy, hot) and fries. BOTH were cold, wilted, shriveled, at 1 pm, during rush!! They count on you being in drive thru so you will drive away, and not bring back. I wish i could rate it lower than a 1. The workers here are so beyond rude. So disrespectful. Walked in three hours before closing but they were all just sitting at a table and rolled their eyes when i walked in. started talking in spanish to each other, rolling their eyes, laughing at me as if they didn't want to serve me. I asked what time they closed because it seemed by the way they were acting that it was closed and they proceeded to laugh and speak in spanish while the looked at me and responded with "same as always" and i asked when that was and they told me to look at the sign. OK, so while the facility makes it nicer than the average McDonalds, I'm knocking two stars off. Service here has gone WAY downhill since I wrote my original review. Things come out slowly, managers have been yelling at their employees about protocol in front of customers, and you now have to give them your first name every time you order so that they can call your name when your order is ready. This rule seems to apply even if you're the only customer currently in the store. I will say that weekday morning staff is still solid - when I make a pit stop every once and awhile for a breakfast sandwich the same employees are there, and all of them are fast and down to business. Eek! Methinks not. My family and I are new to Sammamish and we were scouting out some hot spots for lunch around town. When we saw those glorious golden arches, our faces lit up like christmas trees! We loved our community's McDonalds in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It always smelled so wonderful as soon as we walked through their doors. At this McDOnald's we felt at home. This was a place where the staff knows our faces, knowns your order: A big mac for me, a southwest salad for my wife, and 2 happy meals for our 2 big boys. This, and you already know if you have ever been a patron of the Sammamish McDonald's, is NOT the Sammamish McDOnalds experience. Let me start with the parking lot. When my family and I first got to this establishment, we were greeted with trash all over the lot, unfriendly managers smoking cigarettes outside in front of our boys, and yet, admittedly, it had very nice, long glass doors. If only the sleek infrastructe would be a tell to the quality of the food and service. Now I will share my family's ordering experience. First of all, we felt attacked the moment we walked into this restruant, as if we were wrong to even order food. One of the employees, she had a ponytail with a cute little bow, glared at us. And, when we took our order she had a cold and rude demeanor. She rolled her eyes when we asked for extra sauce and even made us pay for it. I've NEVER had to pay for McDonald's sauces in any other location. If you ask me, I think the managers are pocketing the extra change. After a decent waiting time (but we're not gonna talk about that), my family and I recieved our food. My boys, excited to play with their new Lion King toys, ripped open their happy meals before we even reached the car, dissappointment was left on their sweet faces. THEY FORGOT THE TOY, I can't even begin to imagine discovering this while already on the ROAD! After asking for the toy, we were still met with that cold, rude, look! After the frustrating experience, we were driving home, hoping that at least the food would still taste like home. While opening the bag we discovered that they had forgotten the fries. At this point, we were too defeated to care. Biting into that cold, soggy sandwich, and dipping my chewy, also cold chicken nuggets, into the somehow warm ranch, (of which they only gave me 1 of, despite ordering a 20 piece), I realized I had made a mistake, trusting those golden arches ever again. read more

Recently went to drive thru and was treated to some very rude service just because I wanted a cup of water that I failed to order at the speaker. Really? Could she have taken a minute to just get the water rather than lecture the customer like a kid. read more

Super slow drive through. It took 2 to 5 minutes for each car ahead of me to be served. I spent 20 minutes in the drive through line waiting for "fast food". They did get the order right and the staff was friendly, though. Just took too long for a fast food restaurant. read more

I'm all way take my kids go there and play. I'm alway order a lot foods for my kids and ask for the honey mustard and no any charge. On Monday afternoon, I was taking my kids for lunch again and order foods. I was asking for honey mustard and the Mexican sever want to charge me for .11 cent each. What now!!!? Now! Paid extra for 2 deluxe meals. They took our money without telling us that they were out of what made the meals deluxe. While waiting for our order, I saw a employee take both burgers out of the boxes and add other things to the burgers and return them to the boxes. I asked if we could have the missing items so we could have what we paid for. The woman said they were out of those items. I asked her why they took money for something they didn't have. She said the employee who took our order should have told us. I told her that they should not charge for items they don't have and that I was going to report it. During our conversation, the woman used her ungloved fingers to wipe eye gunk from both eyes and then proceed to bag and handle fries without cleaning her hands. Upon returning to our table, we found my burger was very rare to the point I couldn't eat it. My husband and I switched burgers and finished our meals. They should have refunded our money and apologized. I filled out the survey from the receipt at least 5 days ago and have yet to receive any contact from them. Hoping the Health Dept. does some surprise visits to catch what they are doing. E.coli anyone? read more

I am writing today because of my frustration with McDonalds in Sammamish. I literally have only been to this restaurant 5 times since May 2018. While I am not a huge fan of fast food, sometimes it is just easier. I visited the restaurant on 10/28/18 at 4:30pm. I walked into the restaurant and it was filthy! That has been my problem every time I visited this restaurant. The trash was overflowing and the floors were just as gross. Before we left the restaurant, a member of my party spoke to the manager asking for the District Managers info. My friend was handed a business card and then was asked if there was a problem. My friend said yes, the restaurant is filthy. The manager said that "this is how she got the store." Not only was that comment unacceptable, but with all the staff that was behind the counter, no one could clean the store? The manager looks fairly young and that tells me she has no reason being a manager. She has no control over her restaurant. I don't know how this restaurant passes its health inspections. I really am hoping the restaurant sees this post and the pictures and takes action. read more

Each time in which I have guilty grease pleasures that do not involve my significant other, I make the long and dangerous trip to the Sammamish McDonald's. With each visit, I have come to appreciate the views that the voyage offers. Foreigners who can't drive flocking the streets. Young adults experimenting with various chemicals on a given Friday Night. Parents who question your every move. It's all splendid. Once in the sweet and savory parking lot, I glance up to see the marvelous golden arches and think to myself 'how did I get so lucky?' I have spent countless hours eating their finest cuisines. I have also spent countless hours dispersing of said dine into my white throne back at home. There is very literally everything to do here. Good service but to many teenagers sitting out in there cars smoking electronic cigarettes, also sometimes get my order wrong and I have to go into the building to get the right food. Other than that the food tastes like regular McDonald's cuisine. read more

It has a lot to improve especially the management department. They treat customers so different. It doesn't matter at the drive-thru or inside, we have watched careful for a long time and realized that they treated people who spoke Spanish nicer. If we had our friends who come from Spanish cultures with us, everything would be ok. When we are "alone", then there's no any warm greeting. Ordered right thing but provided wrong to the customers. It happened too many times and caused us driving back again at least couple times in the past. For some reasons, they always want to give us french fries when we ordered chocolate chip frappe. Once they wanted to give us sprite. Sometimes employees got impatient when we repeatedly telling them that they got our orders wrong. They also need to pay attention who arrive drive-thru first. It happens a few times that we arrived first and they decided to take the orders from drivers behind us first. Certainly caused the line longer out to the road. However, it just feels so sad to see the way they treat customers so different. Shouldn't it be the same no matter what cultures customers come from? read more
