The one we did get were disgusting they were burnt crispy didn't even taste like normal McDonald's fries. I've had ongoing issues with the service at this McDonald's location, and my most recent drive-through experience was especially frustrating. I arrived at the ordering area before another vehicle, but the employee working the drive-through decided to take the other customer's order first. When I reached the window and brought this up, the employee insisted that she could see who arrived first and claimed that I had arrived second. I told her that wasn't what happened--I was there first and would have had absolutely no problem waiting if the other customer had actually arrived before me. Instead of simply addressing the situation, it turned into an unnecessary argument at the window while the line behind me continued to grow. From my perspective, this could have been avoided by simply taking customers in the order they arrive. I've also repeatedly had problems getting the correct condiments and quantities with my orders. If I order a specific condiment and specify a quantity, I expect to receive what I ordered. Too often I receive the wrong condiment or fewer than I requested. Then, when I ask for the missing items, employees sometimes act irritated as though I'm inconveniencing them. I'm not asking for anything beyond what I originally ordered. The recurring lack of attention to basic details comes across as incompetence at this location. I'm not expecting perfection or special treatment. I simply expect employees to take customers in the proper order and provide what was actually ordered, including the correct items and quantities. Those are basic parts of drive-through service, and they shouldn't be this difficult. read more

My attitude was beginning to decline after I was informed by Ms. Kari (had to shorten her name cuz I didn't quite get the rest & was in a rush) that another patron possibly took my order w/out paying attention. I was the first in the drive thru and they served a person who came minutes after me waiting. I mention it to the server and they ignored me and asked about order. This is the second time this same person has been extremely rude. I gave them a chance after the last incident, and I will never return. Anybody who goes there should expect the least and you won't be disappointed. Besides the food being like warm or I should say the cheeseburgers. When we first moved to Rohnert park 3-4 years ago this place was consistently the best, the app made it that much easier for us to go because nobody got the coin to be spending McDonald prices. However, this last year they have been so incredibly awful. I am not a fast food person at all. My granddaughter so wanted a meal from here though I told her if they have vegetarian options we could go (I do not eat meat). I was delighted to see they now offer several veggie options. When we ordered I did not see one veggie option whatsoever on their menu. Having work done in our home and everything is tore up! So we opted to order DoorDash instead of fighting the chaos that is my kitchen. Ordered the big breakfast (egg, sausage, pancakes, English muffin, hashbrowns and burrito meals via Doordash. Order arrived with no utensils, no salt, no pepper, no syrup, no butter, no jelly, nothing... I called the store asking about these missing items and was told they are no longer automatically included!! I said, "When I go thru the drive thru they are automatically included in the bag, so why not in a delivery order?" Was told you have to add these in Ap... my daughter made the DoorDash order and saw no place for this add on. She's a very tech savvy 24 year old and habitual user or DoorDash, if she didn't see it, it wasn't obvious. So why make it EXTRA work? Ironically you would think I'd put a poor review after my experience today with a grumpy "manager" who disrespected me in front of my son then again in the restaurant, shoved past me, and threw a fit yelling at me accusing me of complaining because she doesn't speak English? When little did she know I'm multilingual and understood every word she said. She agressively came toward me twice more, and I'm thankful I kept my cool and Manager Magda and fellow employees made the situation calm, and kept her away. Magda is an excellent manager, she didn't make me feel bad or escalate the situation, got me our food, and tossed in a free cookie for the trouble which I insisted wasn't necessary but my son appreciated. I get that it's maybe not awesome working there but that's not my fault. I even said they don't make enough and I don't pay enough for either us to have a bad day over this, just want my kids food. And shoving past me wasn't smart, not knowing my physical mediacal conditions of osteoarthritis in both knees hence why I try to do curb side.... 95% of the time service, food, and cleanliness ambiance is excellent here. And I come here often as a mom of a special needs child who has sensory issues and doesn't eat many foods. It's McDonald's, so you pretty much know what you're getting...which is two stars. I'm giving it 5 stars for the employees that work there and their manager. I've never been able to see the manager's name tag, but she's got reddish hair. She seems to run a very organized shift and never seems to treat her employees bad. The people are always very friendly, like for real friendly. I actually like going here because of them.
