I just spent 45 minutes IN THE DRIVE THRU at this McDonald's location! Not moving, not ordering, just SITTING. No "please wait we are having difficulty" nothing. The car in the line next to me was in the same dilemma. There were other cars behind us so we couldn't back up to leave. Placed my order , verified correct on the screen. Pull up only to wait about 10 mins more to pay and have the attendant ask "you had the big mac and quarter pound combo?" I said yes. She gave me a bag I looked saw 2 boxes and 2 fries and I left. Missy is one of the worst Managers I have observed! Not only does she NOT have the respect of her customers, she doesn't have the respect of her employees. Novia one of the cashier was nice enough to tell me about a two for five dollar deal after I used the Kiosk to order. Changes to my order required manager intervention and Missy was more focused on getting the fries out tallying up the food loss sheet than to come and make the proper adjustment to my order. She refused to take the time to to listen to my entire story of me changing out my order to take advantage of the special. Nor did she care about how long the wait was. It is amazing that McDonalds has promoted her and settled for the lower standard of manager skills. Just how long is she been manager? They are one of few food options open late near the hospital, so I have given this location multiple opportunities and have always been disappointed. This evening was one of many where the line wraps around the building and parking lot. I timed them and they were moving one car every 2 minutes. With 15 cars in front of me facing a 30 minute wait, I just gave up. I can go home and make a hamburger from scratch in that time. Another time I ordered the new chicken sandwich, paid for it, and it wasn't ready at the pickup line. They told me to pull forward and wait, which I did for 15 minutes and then got upset. They forgot about me twice, i called their phone and nobody answered. The only way I could get acknowledgement that I needed the food I paid for was to reverse and block the line as a last resort (inside the building was closed d/t covid). I would have driven away, but had already paid. After blocking the line and over 20 minutes after paying, I finally got my one lousy chicken sandwich. The only excuse? Right. Splendid customer service. Yep. A table for 4. Si. Minimum decor to not overwhelm your mind with too many advertisements. Check. The need and desire for the happy meal toy. Oh yeah. (It was a watch that counts your steps, people!) As if that was not a sell, McD's has made it so you can buy yourself a meal for under $10. I was looking at the coffee menu and not a beverage was over $4. Move aside Starbucks. I like it here. Affordable. Did I mention you can get hash browns for a dollar? There is still a dollar menu at Mickey D's. Oh yeah! I ended up with chicken nuggets and buttermilk chicken sandwich with small coffee. So addictively good! Look, I work food service, it's shitty and it really sucks, I get it. But wow, the service here sucks. The workers are almost always noticeably high, not even a little, I mean eyes blazing red and not being able to process information high. They will almost always mess up your order. For example, my friend ordered a large Dr. Pepper and didn't recieve it, so he want back, showed them a receipt, and ended up getting a Coke that was only about 3 quarters of the way full. I also ordered a large chocolate milkshake and recieved a vanilla shake, so I asked the worker "is this a chocolate shake?" Figuring maybe that's what it looks like, and she said "uh huh" so I'm like, alright, we drove off, I took a sip of it, and low and behold, it IS vanilla. I don't know how you can look customers in the eye and say you're right when you know for a fact that you're wrong. Time to find a new McDonald's. read more

I come to this mcdonald's when my daughter is hospitalized, as it's the closest to strong. sometimes i think the cafeteria food is better than this place. everyone that works here doesn't care or has a nasty attitude and i'm overly nice when i order and crap because i also work in food service and i know people who work in food service appreciate nice people. but this place don't give af. I had a big order for me and my boyfriend and they only forgot one thing so I went inside to show my receipt and bag, and it took 15 minutes for someone to come to the front and address the line that was there before me. It just reopened yesterday after a big remodel, and I love the new style McDonalds is going with. This is the first one of this cool new style I've seen outside of downtown Chicago too. I went at 2 am and it was still open which was a big plus (even though there were no hours posted anywhere online). It also has two drive through lanes now which is more convenient.
