My daughter was hungry after the Riverbank Parade last night, and she chose McDonalds, didn't think we would be sitting in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Seems that they don't know how to figure out there two drive thru ordering system. The cars finally moved after a long wait, I stopped at the 1st intercom and the car behind me stopped at the 2nd to order. They asked for the car behind me to order first, so than we just sat there for about 5 minutes while my 7 year old is like, are they gonna ask us for our order so we can move.. Still waiting, I finally say, I would like to order please, because who knows how long we would of been waiting there for them to figure out no one was coming to the window. Then when I got to the window they started reciting the order behind me's order. I said, no sorry not mine. Then paid for mine and moved on. Seems like this is a regular thing because the guy had at least 8 drinks waiting to be passed out. Pathetic, even for a McDonalds. read more

Had lunch yesterday and I couldn't believe how many flies were in the establishment. Other McDonalds I visit, don't have that many flies around. I mean I can understand a couple but there were more than 10 in the restaurant. Also restaurant temp was not cool. Seems that there is always something wrong with this particular McDonalds. I went through the drive thru, there were 2 cars in front of me (this was at 10:30am), I ordered a drink and a burger, by the time I got to the 1st window 22 minutes had past, I asked, because of the long wait time, was anything going to be done to the amount of the purchase, the girl at the window gave me attitude, then laughed about me having to wait . Today when I went to the McDonald's in Riverbank on Patterson and Oakdale, I was given small sodas instead of larges with my large combo meals. Then the boy told me to pull around front to wait for my meals. I declined politely, but he told me I had to pull around if I wanted my food because there were customers behind me. I explained it was only one car, and I ordered and paid before he did, therefore I should receive my food before he did. I mean, it's fast food, not "fast for some people, but you have to wait" food. I'll also add that I didn't have any special requests that would make my food take longer, so I thought I was being pretty reasonable. He said that the man behind me needed his food and I was rude for making him wait. When I told him I would stay put, he promptly told me to return my drinks for a refund. When I was refunded, I was given almost $2 less than I had paid. I pulled around and went inside to correct it. I had my receipt that proved my payment of $25.12 and also his refund receipt that proved he had given me back $23.54, so there was no way they could dispute what I was owed. Luckily, a (MUCH NICER) employee correct the refund and apologized. As I was leaving, I could hear her telling him he could not force refund a customer. I understand it was one employee, but I refuse to ever eat at a McDonald's location again if they continue to force customers to pull around to wait for their food. This is not the first time I've been told to pull around, and not the first time I've been given lip about not wanting to, but it will certainly be the last. read more

First of all I think the employees need extensive re-training.Without being greeted I was shoved to my face "what do you want" on top of that I have kids that are accident prone and they did not even put any straws in the bag for my kids drinks. If the owner can see this, I recommend you re train your employees that way your business does not become like Burger King. A shithole kind of restaurant. I am speechless. I went in today to get 2 egg & cheese biscuits WITHOUT bacon, which I continuously repeated. I also ordered hot cakes, hot hazelnut latte and 2 hash-browns. I pull up and my hazelnut latte is cold and tastes like coffee (not sweet) with whip cream trying to to cover up as a hazelnut latte like CNN covering the fake news. So I tell the girl in a polite manner and the manager steps in and ask me to pull forward because they ran out of milk? Like really? It's 8am how did you run put of milk already when the population of Riverbank is less than of the population of Amish county. Then I pull forward and I wait and wait ...and wait. Then I decided to go in, mind you I looked like Chewbacca since I had no plan getting out of my car. I go in and the other manager (trying to look all polite like Samantha from Sex and the City) asks me: "you're the one who was missing her Hot Cakes?" I'm like noooo it was the Latte. Then I go back to my car and sure enough, Hot Cakes were missing as well as my Latte. Pater noster give me patience. So I was really mad because this is not the first time that they make mistakes so I blame me for coming here and giving these people a chance. I've notice since there was a ownership change things are a little different there, employees are so unprofessional, service is horrible and let's not talk about the drive thru wait in line for over 15 minuets and once I get to the window I'm still told to wait at parking space cause my food is still cooking!! This location has the WORST service that I have ever encountered at a McDonald's. I live about 3 mins away drive time and have tried and tried to like the service here but, to no avail. I had to wait 20 min in the drive thru just to get a hot caramel sundae. Went to get hot fries got cold ones. One time I ordered a sunday with my friend in the drive thru and the manager came over and told the employee they were too large , threw them both in the trash and made the employee re make them right in front of us. Talk about rude and wasteful! Had to wait while ones that were too small were given to us. Once bad service ...ok. Twice bad service...I should have known better. Three times bad service... what am I thinking?? Four times bad service... Why do I keep doing this to myself?? I went today with my in laws because they invited me again after at least a year of not going because it has been so bad... Dbl qtr pounder came as a big mac. 20 piece mcnuggets came as 10. Crispy chicken wrap came as grilled. Absolutely ridiculous! Attitude came free when person who took the order said "I know, I took the order." No "I'm sorry let me fix that" or "Let me make it right" She just came back to the table with the correct burger then, wait for it... then the correct nuggets.
