We have learned that when traveling with grandkids McDonalds is always a safe bet for lunch. This McDumps (grandkids name for McDonald's), was very clean, had several kiosk to order from and had a huge play area with tables and even a clean restroom where we were able to enjoy McNuggets and some warm crispy fries while the grandkids devoured Happy Meals and played on the giant structure. Far from gourmet but definitely edible, McDonalds seems to be a great spot when traveling with the family. If you find yourself in Rifle, CO, don't hesitate to get off the highway and enjoy a nice lunch at McDumps. Tell them Jeff sent you. read more

On our drive back to California we stopped to grab a bite to eat. We went thru the drive thru to order and immediately were met with terrible customer service. No hello no smile. The employee looked miserable and clearly didn't want to be there. She handed us our food and I asked if it was all there and she replied "of course". We left and soon found that a part of our order was left out, so we went back. When asked for the missing items and ketchup she rolled her eyes grabbed the items and slammed the drive thru window No apology given. read more

Processed an order on their app, which states "tell us your code at the window". The woman asks will you be using the app, I said "yes, my code is ***, to which she condescendingly replied "you mean you have a mobile order", I just laughed and said well I'm just telling what it says to say on the app. Her snarky reply, "ok, pull to window two". Randomly closed at 8pm on Friday night. No sign explaining. Went online to see that it's supposed to be open until midnight. What's the deal? Staff shortages? Food shortages? Lazy employees? I want to believe the best of people but you don't give any explanation for being randomly closed you're asking for people to go somewhere else. I'm assuming the owners don't know that this is going on since most people who own a McDonald's franchise are in it to make money. Not have their stores closed on a busy weekend night. read more

I just we through drive thru. I ordered 2 iced coffees 1 kids meal and 1 regular meal. They didn't give me the kids meal drink until I asked for it, they didn't give me the medium drink for the regular meal or the sauce for the kids meal. Nobody knows what they're doing in that place. The drive through service was terrible they switched our order were they had to bring us our original order and when we got that it was still the wrong order then the day after we went to get a sweet tea and some fries but the fries tasted old and the sweet tea tasted like it was a day and a half old never eating at rifle McDonald's again read more

Very inconsistent. One time there will be too much salt on my Burger the next time it's like there is none. Half the time the cheese is hanging off the side of the burger. Drive through I have waited as long as fifteen minutes as the let the orders that are not up sit at the window instead of pulling them forward and bringing their order out to them. Is had often resulted in a less than fresh sandwich that is not very warm. This means they are banging the food and letting it sit until the other orders are finally out. Stopped a couple of times for breakfast while visiting family in the area. Service and food was very good both times. On the second visit I accidently left without my purse, and didn't realize it until we were on the interstate far away from Rifle. I called and spoke to Scott, who very kindly agreed to mail my purse to me. I had it back the day after I got home. He and the other employees there who helped me out went above and beyond, and I have to give them kudos for being so kind and helpful! McDonalds in Rifle,CO 709 Taughenbaugh Blvd recently went through a lengthy refurb for reasons I can only assume were to make operation more efficient and drive up revenue....guess what...epic fail. Takes forever to get served inside, drive through is well..lol...a mess. You guys ran a great operation prior to refurb. You need to fix fast or customers will be by by. Ok soooooooooooo I just took my fat ass to McDonald's and I ordered ice cream and then I paid o whateva and they gave me a receipt andddd that thing had barley any amount of ink on it, it's like they gave me a blank paper, so I called them to let them know like hey try checking the ink o whateva and they said they couldn't hear me I yelled at my phone about 3-4 times and they still said they couldn't hear me that frustrated me. read more

I highly doubt that the trash was over flowing and all of them couldn't possibly be full. Rifle mcdonalds has excellent service; being fast friendly and clean. Every time I go in I never see anything if what you just said. Keep it up rifle McDonald's you're a great restaurant!!! read more
