This was the worst experience. They didn't make our drinks correct. The girls were so rude and didn't fix my drink. I will drive an hour to never go to this store again!! Please wash your hands before handing me my food. Whip cream was on the outside of our food and we didn't even get anything with whip cream. This location always has rude staff and the service is horrible. My order has been placed and paid for, I don't need the cashier to talk to me about anything other then my order and food. The only good thing here is the location. It is convenient and right off of I-70. Otherwise, I would never stop here. The customer service was horrible and they were rude. There were six girls working , yet they couldn't get both our drinks served at the same time. We waited over 5 minutes for the second drink. The manager running the store was rude to us and her employees. I would pass on this location if at all possible. read more

The barista wouldn't put the half and half in my husband's coffee when I ordered it inside. I was surprised. I've been traveling the country for three weeks, frequenting Starbucks 1-2 times a day, always ordering a venti latte for myself and a venti coffe with an inch of half and half for my husband. Here in the Starbucks in Rifle, CO, the barista coldly snarked at me , "We only put half and half in for drive-thrus. HELLO! I'm paying the same price! Are customers who bother to get their butts out of the car and order in-store second class citizens? It's simple courtesy and good business to give the paying customer what she/he orders. Don't have two standards of service! Some people may prefer to add their own ingredients, others know what they want when the enter. read more

Stopped in after needing a caffeine boost on my road trip out west. This is your typical Starbucks, however a lot cleaner than the ones I've frequented out east. Baristas were friendly. The only qualm I would have to comment on was that the lady who ordered her vente frappacino drink after me had her drink prepared and was out the door before I received my tall caramel flan frappacino. We usually stop by this location on our way from Denver and typically have a mediocre experience however our last visit was exceptionally disappointing!! Firstly, went into the bathrooms and both were disgusting to say the least!! I've been to crappy gas stations that were way better! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days!! Also, the barista serving the drinks was rude as ever! When she announced the order with our wrong name but close to the right name and no one was was responding . We asked if it could be our name and very rudely she repeated again the wrong name. When asked what the drink was it was clearly ours. We still waited a while for our muffin.. when I expressed we were still waiting on the rest of our order, she exclaimed "don't know" and continued working on her other orders . In my opinion. this Starbucks has gone downhill! We will avoid this stop in the future! If I could no stars I would! read more

Janet* was the cashier who took care of me. The store was very busy but she was just the sweetest and took care of each customer. I asked for a matcha latte steamed with honey and she made sure it happened. There was also a younger man with blonde hair who prepared my drink and he was super kind in delivering it and making it perfect. Why Rifle, CO? Passing through from DC and super tired! I wish I got her name in retrospect as she was incredibly condescending after I politely requested that she shake my green tea latte. They're lucky to have the benefit of being the only Starbucks for miles, because in the real world sweetie, people don't take kindly to being talked down to, do YOU understand? Stopped here for breakfast after leaving our hotel. The cashier was friendly but the barista left my venti iced coffee an inch empty from the top then did the same on my wife's chai. When she did top it off it was just milk which made the chai impossible to taste. Seemed like a bunch of careless employees just waiting for the tip jar results. read more

I recently moved out here and this was the closest Starbucks to me, it's your typical Starbucks. The girl who took my order forget to write it on the cup, I'm used to the orders being being printed out on stickers now and slapped on the cup so I was surprised when I was asked to repeat my order later when she realized she forgot. Well, it's a Starbucks. The majority of the staff here are amazingly sweet and do a bang up job with the drinks! I go here regularly as it's the only place in town. I live 20 miles away, but when I'm in town, I swing by. It's always clean and well maintained inside. The bathrooms, not so much, but in this town it's understandable. All public restrooms in this town are generally destroyed. I have only had one problem here and the staff was quick to fix it. read more
