They've rebranded to Wild Coffee Roasters! Stopped here during a road trip and staff were extremely friendly. My partner got a pourover and he loved it. He's a coffee snob so that's saying something. :)

Delicious coffee, friendly service, overall relaxing vibe. 10/10 would recommend! Some Cute local made goods for sale as well. We've been visiting this shop for years when visiting family and have never been disappointed. They've rebranded as Wild Coffee since my last visit, but everything is just as good as before. Closed on Saturdays.

Highly recommend even going out of your way to try this coffee shop. Everything we ate was delicious (the mixed berry danish has cinnamon woven into the pastry, the chicken apple sausage in the burrito was flavorful, the yogurt parfait wasn't too sweet and a good proportion of granola to quality yogurt). Best chai latte I've ever had. You could taste both the tea and the spices. Delightful. I'm giving this a tie for the best coffee shop for food and drink I've been to. Wish we had one close to us! read more

Cute little coffee shop on the main street in Silt. The WiFi was strong and the coffee was bold! The ladies working were friendly, the place was full of locals chatting and enjoying their morning coffee together. They had some nice looking swag for purchase, too. I didn't try the pastries but it looked like they had a decent selection. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area! read more

This is the best espresso shop I've found between Glenwood and Grand Junction. I've only seen one employee working. She makes nice lattes and cappuccinos, and is personable enough. They have a good selection of pastries and muffins. They offer a couple of breakfast burritos prepared by a local diner. Nice Indie music like The Shins and Bon Iver. A local gem! One of the few coffee shops in the area we could find that was open at 6am. We stopped in for coffee and bagels, which tasted freshly baked. Not only do they sell a large variety of organic produce, they also sell numerous regional foodstuffs like pasta, coffee, dairy products and more. Osage Gardens has a really flexible Community Supported Agriculture program. Most CSA's just give you a box of whatever produce they have on hand, Soviet style. With Osage Gardens, CSA membership is more like a gift card. You can buy whatever you want from their farmer's market locations or at the farm store and the amount is deducted from your share, along with a discounted price. Rather than dealing with the hordes of wealthy mountainistas who descend on the farmer's market like locusts to buy choice ingredients for "dinner parties" (whatever those are), we prefer to take a nice drive out to New Castle and buy directly from the farm store. Once inside, we again waited quite a while - over an hour for our food. We were a party of four and ordered breakfast items. Thank goodness this was a long overdue connection with the parents and we had lots to connect over. Once our food arrived, it was radio silent - always a good sign. I ordered Chorizo Avocado Benny. Parents ordered eggs and ham, partner ordered breakfast enchiladas. Everything was incredible - well seasoned, locally sourced with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Yum. Even though the wait was a bit much, we'd return. The food was outstanding.

We got a dirty chai and bagel to share - Asiago bagel with cream cheese to be specific. Dirty chai was huge and really good, very ginger-forward. I liked the eclectic-ness of the mismatched tables and chairs. The beer menu looked great too - had a Threat Level Midnight stout (ode to The Office). Very community oriented with lots of fun events presented on the bulletin boards. Will check out beer next time in the area!

If there were six stars, I would freely give it to Misty's. Great local vibe, friendly and accommodating barrista's, amazing Spicey chai, excellent espresso and wonderful baked snacks. Can't drive by Silt without a stop here. read more
