It actually ended up being the only coffee shop we visited because we loved it so much. The staff were amazing and so helpful when choosing our drinks. Sadly, we didn't try the breakfast, which I am regretting because it looked so good. The place itself is super cute. They have a little outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy your coffee, water bowls for the doggos, and even a cute display of pups in the window. The whole place felt so cozy and quaint. Once inside, we again waited quite a while - over an hour for our food. We were a party of four and ordered breakfast items. Thank goodness this was a long overdue connection with the parents and we had lots to connect over. Once our food arrived, it was radio silent - always a good sign. I ordered Chorizo Avocado Benny. Parents ordered eggs and ham, partner ordered breakfast enchiladas. Everything was incredible - well seasoned, locally sourced with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Yum. Even though the wait was a bit much, we'd return. The food was outstanding.

Sandy was my server and she was great. Attentive without hovering, the kind of service you'd expect at a much fancier place. I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.
