I called ahead to order pick up and arrived to smiling greetings. I was looking for a healthy menu and this place is the holy grail! The menu is just perfect, with lots of delicious options..that are also healthy! I had the fresh Juice #3 carrot, beet, orange juice and I cannot talk this juice up enough!! The online menu says Juice #3 is cucumber, celery, apple but the online menu is not correct so just make sure if you order a number juice you ask what the ingredients are. However, it was the most delicious drink I've ever tasted. I won't forget to mention that their chicken avocado wraps and Strawberry & banana rolls are clearly made with love...and fresh ingredients full of flavor!! On the way back to Parker from Moab and getting dem hunger pangs when wifey yelps this joint of joints located in the tiny byway town of Rifle, CO. Here's what this place is not-- fancy, pretentious, romantic, stylish, high brow, complicated or expensive..... what it is-- a simple eatery with oh so many menu offerings made with honest ingredients by a family that puts their heart into their craft. I had the turkey club on GF bread with a salad while wife and son enjoyed the turkey panini and loaded baked potato soup. All delicious, all fresh, all copious, and for great value. The guac and salsa app was all in house made in an obvious and refreshing way!!! If you find yourself in Rifle, this place is worth the exit off of 70. As with other reviewers I chose to go here wanting something other than diner food. I had the Rifle omelet that had both spinach and zucchini and topped with Swiss cheese. Also ordered a side of bacon. I was very impressed with the flavor and prices. The peppered bacon was a really nice touch too. The BF had the basic breakfast of 2 eggs with bacon and pancakes. The syrup was real maple and I tasted the pancakes which were really good. The space itself is very basic but the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend for a change. read more

Healthy, friendly, delicious option when passing through - a Little gem! This place is legit. We are foodies, so have a high standard and this place did NOT disappoint. Friendly service, great food, and ok prices (a little high, not too bad tho). They even made the breakfast tacos I saw in a photo on yelp, even tho it was a special and not on the menu! They should consider adding it tho because it was delicious. We have kids and we were all happy with our choices. We had the breakfast tacos, spinach salad, kids Mickey pancakes and smoothies! I like to base my reviews off the style of the eatery. This Bistro is a fine example. It's not a lux hotel restaurant, and it's not a taco stand on the side of the road. It's a quaint little piece happiness in rifle. So it's reviewed accordingly. Menu is Very large. Which won't be a downfall for a bistro of this size. Not a lot of foot traffic on a Tuesday morning so how should I know!! Lots of healthy options for when you get out of your work out right next door. Or if you, like me, have a carnivorous appetite that must be sustained.... they have an options for you to! And of course they are vegan friendly! My food (meat eater burrito and a hot chocolate) did me just right! Rich and thick was the burrito and the hot chocolate was good as well. It's not a very "wait for your waitress" setting. It's a "take your protein shake and pancakes to go setting." But that doesn't mean you can't sit down with your friends and eat together! DEEEE-LISH!! We stopped here on our way out of Aspen heading back to California. A lot of dining establishments could learn from this little cafe/bistro. We were immediately greeted and seated by a wonderful server named Raquel (at least that's the name on the card she gave me when I told her I would write a nice review). We were told the specials and given menus. It was hard to choose because everything sounded so good. I opted for the "Caprese Panini" and my husband got the special "Greek Chicken Pita" both came with choices of sides, but we both got a small side salad. This is where a lot of restaurants could use help. The salad was loaded with goodies, and a delicious raspberry vinaigrette that I wish they bottled. So, if you're in the middle of Colorado off the 70 freeway and you see a town called "Rifle" you gotta check this place out. read more

I always stop here when I pass through Rifle! It's so good. I travel for work a lot so it's refreshing to find a place that tastes so good and has healthy options. I'm so sick of eating fast food all of the time. Also, their drinks are phenomenal! I had a watermelon water once and I couldn't believe how delicious and fresh it was. I am currently drinking a berry lemonade and you can tell it's all homemade and pure. There portions are not too big but not too small either, they are just right. They are really trying to establish a healthy lifestyle with their customers and that is what their customers get. The people who work here are also very nice and will remember you each time you come in. I would highly recommend at trying this place if you need a healthier place to eat. read more

Try the Huevos Rancheros, or the chocolate pancakes! I am particularly fond of the old-style glass bottle Coca-Cola, which they serve when you order a Coke. For the health conscious! We were traveling through Rifle on our way North on 13 and needed to eat something other than the usual greasy fast food. This was definitely the place. Husband got the tuna salad stuffed avocados, I got the avocado panini. These hit the spot and were just what we needed before we continued on our journey. We took away a protein and energy shake for the road and an extra ham and cheese sandwich. We were personally served by the owner who was very courteous.
