Somehow, we got the last cinnamon roll of the day, and it absolutely made my day! We also grabbed a croissant, a croissant muffin, and a loaf of sourdough to take home, and everything was delicious. But that cinnamon roll completely stole my heart. We only had about an hour in this adorable town, but we're already planning a longer trip back--and Annie's will definitely be our first stop!

It's located in the lower level of a building, it so does require walking down a flight of stairs. There may be an ADA accessible entrance, but I did not see it. Once you get into the shop, you can turn to the right and enter the chocolate room, or stay to the left where you can get a scoop of ice cream. The chocolates are delicious-I especially liked the toffee. I also bought a tub of fudge that kept me happy for many days! Some of the chocolates are vegan, but not all of them. I appreciate the selection and options-something for everyone. In the back, there's a small seating area with some fun photos and keepsakes of local historical figures. There are a few saddles that you can sit on for a photo op as well, which I saw plenty of people taking advantage of. All around great place!

I took Nick here during our anniversary road trip and we absolutely fell in love with all the pastel and balboas balloons displayed in their front patio. They mostly speak Spanish, but they serve a very diverse menu. My favorite is their authentic manzana loca that basically translates as "fresh cool apple" dessert!! We originally got a strawberries milk and cream shake with two superman ice cream scoops on top. The scoops of ice cream were rainbow colored and had whipped cream and a cherry on top. It was incredible and the scoops of ice cream were fresh and fun with lots of love; made by a loving staff.
