Had a horrible experience at the McDonald's on 350 Hwy in Raytown. Ordered from the app thinking it would be quicker. Boy was I wrong, not only did they charge my debit card for the total amount and tell me they never received my payment, they took a second payment out for the same amount and one more payment for a different amount. I talked to the manager who was literally yelling at me claiming it wasn't their restaurant that took out the charges. And he ended up calling the police on me. Welcome to the Grand Re-opening of one of my favorite McDonald's in the city. This McDonald's was one of the first in the country to have the cool play area with the slide. They've since removed their play area, but I used to love that place. It is a bit further from other McDonald's around my neighborhood, so I don't always visit it. We went to this McDonald's today due to their grand reopening specials, that also go on throughout December. From $1.00 Quarter-pounders to $1.00 Big Macs, specials are available. For some reason, (I think it's the cost), we are a McDonald's family, and are suckers for $1.00 Quarter Pounders. As for service, I think they were training tonight. They had the plain Quarter Pounders and plain Big Mac done before the regular Big Macs. We had to wait for the regular Big Macs, and then the fries. The food wasn't kept under a warmer. I didn't say anything this time, cause I gave them a break. Normally I'd say something. They were busy. The food was luke warm, but, it had quite a drive home. The inside of this McDonald's is sparkling clean, but does lack lot's of seating, considering they removed the playground, and replaced it with seats. There is a small area near the back of the store for parties. The drive through stays open 24 hours. A pretty good McDonalds, I'm a fan. read more

My fiancè goes up through the drive thru and the guy miss counts his change. My finance tries to correct him but the worker just got an attitude back. Then he pulls up to the next window and asks for a manager. They ask him to pull forward and told him that they are going to count the drawer, and if its not over 5$ then he's going to jail for attempted robbery. That's a little bit over dramatic. It's just 5$. But after everything, they realized their mistake and gave back the 5$. That was a huge waste of time. Then when he gets home. There's a whole bunch of food missing. Food took longer than expected but was fresh and very good. Drink counter needed a good wipe down also due to some spills Second visit drive thru. *two stars. Horrible service, clerks knew nothing of the menu when asked questions about specific advertised items. Also stop serving lunch before the cut off. I went on a Friday afternoon about 5:45. The drive thru was relatively busy. I was in no rush and was using my app for the first time so I decided to walk in. I was greeted immediately by a young lady. She seemed to be new or training and had to ask the manager for help but it didn't hold her back from taking initiative, which I appreciate. There was a slight issue with getting the coupon in the app to scan. I've heard people complain about these issues since the app is relatively new. With a little help she got my order rang up correctly and my food was ready surprisingly fast. Good customer service is becoming less and less common so when I have a positive experience somewhere, I try to make a note of it! read more

I came to this McDonalds last night around 10:30 pm for a meal. I saw the lights were all on and the drive thru had an open lane with a few customers in line. I pull forward to place an order with no acknowledgement that it was clear to place an order. I wait patiently for around 5 minutes and ask for help. "Hello....". No response. I pull up to the next window to an employee just sitting in a chair browsing thru her phone. I wave to her to get her attention. She gives me a hand gesture from her chair as if asking what I wanted. I say "What's going on?" She flings her arms into the air and says were closed! I've never felt a need to write a review unfortunately after multiple issues with this particular location I feel inclined. I checked before writing this and find it's open 24/7 so am not sure why they were closed. Shut the drive thru down at least and don't ignore your guests who were probably waiting patiently to no avail. This location is consistently bad as far as quality and customer service goes with little to no care for their customers. If there was a poop emoji for something lower than 1 star I would have chosen that cause that what this place makes me think about. I will never be attempting to order some dinner here ever again. Every time I come here the order wrong, customer service sucks, the food is cold, or the wait is long! Yesterday it was all four. I have to stop coming here! Actually I hadn't been here in a while and decided to give them another shot and was quickly reminded why I stopped coming to this location. Normally I don't like when managers talk crazy to their employees but yesterday I understood. I knew I should have turned around when the cashier didn't greet me or asked if she could help me. She just stood there. So I greeted her and asked her how she was doing. No response took her seven minutes to enter everything in the register. I repeated myself several times and slowly and she still didn't get in right. Had to place a second order because she didn't add it to the first even after she asked me about the meal. The first order came back finally and it wasn't even half the order and half of what they did give me was wrong. When the second order finally came which was a value meal I asked for my cup. The manager gave me a cup. The cashier stated with a nasty attitude the she give me my cup and pointed to a kids size cup on the counter. No not for a quarter pounder meal I don't think so. This chick almost got some words. I've was more than nice. More than patient (after I was there almost 45 minutes) you jacked up my order but want to be rude? 3 different occasions in the past 3 months we've gotten rude attitude and each time ordering the sweet BBQ bacon signature burger ordered 1without onions at all and on the screen it was correct but when received it with regular onions and grilled onions on it .but the box grill slip said no onions .never had that issues at other McDonald's. read more
