Decent location, depending on the time of afternoon it can be difficult to navigate. The new renovations removed some of the seating, added a second drive through lane, and added the self ordering kiosks. No children's play place, which is too bad. My review is not for the food, since it's a well known chain restaurant, so this review should be considered to be more based on how it compares to other similar places. The ordering accuracy is notoriously low. I hate to clog up the drive in checking an order, but you have to at this place. My worst experience was when I ordered some chicken nuggets, did not check, and got home to find out my sauce was missing. To top it off, the box of nuggets had an advertisement for the sauces under the lid asking "Which one did you get?" I didn't get any thank you very much and damn it. We tried eating inside for the first time last week. No play place, but a single game table that all the kids in the place were angling towards. The self ordering kiosks are easy to use, but not everyone is on board with them. They had one register still open. Since I was paying cash, I still had to go through the register line after doing the self ordering, so it didn't save time. In fact, it took longer, since the little old lady in front of me wanted to have a conversation about every item on the menu with the lone cashier working. And on top of that, they got my order wrong. I know it was them, since my receipt was correct, they just brought me the wrong stuff. Once I figured that out, it was back to the counter, where I was ignored for a minute or two, then debated with as I tried to explain to them what was wrong with the order. It's clean. That's about the only good thing you can say. Don't go here if you want fast food (takes forever). Or if you want quality food (it's McD's). Or if you want hot food (lukewarm everything). Or if you need to talk to a human (customer service virtually banned). God forbid you need more ketchup - which is not hidden behind the counter like everything else - you'll have to wait 10 minutes before you see another employee. Like all McDonald's with their horrible new design, this place is okay if you don't want or have to talk to an actual human being. But if you need the help of an actual employee, be prepared to wait indefinitely. Maybe bring a bullhorn so you can get the attention of the workers that the company doesn't want to engage with you. To be clear, this is the company's fault not the workers, since all the restaurants have this hostile new design. It is also still allows you to place orders in the app even when the restaurant is closed, wasting your time. The manager I spoke with here was abysmal. This store closes when it wants, doesn't honour its operating hours, doesn't have lights on half of the time at night, and has lines longer than anything I have ever seen. Easily a 25 minute wait most evenings, even during the day all for something to drink. I called to complain about the hours, closing early etc and the manager stated "well sometimes things just come up" and "sometimes we cant help it". I also mentioned the lobby hours and how sometimes the lobby isn't open. I also queried whether or not staffing was the issue and he didn't not answer, and then gave me an answer unrelated to my question. I stated his answer was not sufficient as I was the customer/consumer, and I deserved an answer due to waiting and constantly wasting my time etc., he then responded that he did not give me attitude. This caught me off guard as I did not accuse him of giving me attitude. I asked what he as the manager was going to do about the operations and opening hours of his store and he did not reply. I then said no answer is an answer, which means he was not going to do anything about it. I thanked him for his time and no answers and the abysmal service. Another corporate restaurant that takes its customers for granted and doesn't take accountability for its bad service. This is not what McDonald's used to be about! Also this location does not subscribe to the any size drink for $1 - the large iced tea is $1.19, $1.27 with tax, when down on Quaker in Hudson Falls, the same large iced tea is $1.07. A few months ago I ordered a burger, when I got home and took a bite the inside was gooey red and cold. So I had to bring it back to get my money back. Pretty disgusting, that night I got incredibly sick and I couldn't eat fast food for a while. Tonight I went back and after waiting off to the side in the drive through for 15 minutes for them to bring me my food, I get home and take a bite and same result as last time. I call to talk to a manager and he tells me they can't refund the money once you leave the store, so I ask who I need to talk to because that's bull shit, and he tells me if I bring the burger in he'll refund that money. So now I get to waste my time for 4.50. Customer service used to be a thing, now it's just a memory. I will never eat here, nor do I suggest anyone ever eat here. There are plenty of decent places within view. Seriously, it's not worth your health. TLDR; fuck this place. read more

The manager Dan is horrible. He ALWAYS has an attitude. Our order was made wrong about a week ago called the manager we spoke to was wonderful. Come back we will replace the whole meal..he took our name. We couldn't get back until today(after breakfast is over for what we were being comped for). Told him the other manager said they would replace our whole meal not just the sandwich. He was rude gave him the day and time we spoke to the other person. Still he refused.. was extremely rude. Seriously!? You all want $15 an hour but your speed of service sucks! I have been sitting here for now 20 mins waiting on my food & I am at a "FAST FOOD" restaurant!! The guy who I am now parked next too has been waiting even longer & i got my food before his! This location has seriously dropped its standards & I use to praise this McDonalds but lately food is wrong, cold & tastes like its WAY overcooked. I'm not one to leave bad reviews (especially for McDonalds) but I have never been so angered by service and the lack of respect I received earlier. I tried ordering on the McDonald's app when it told me to go inside and show them my order number because the app was having technical difficulties. So I went inside and waited in line for 10mins and I showed the cashier my order number and she just started at my phone and then said "can you just order in here", I then asked her if she could just pull up my order using my order number on my phone and she said she didn't know. I then said never mind and got out of line and began ordering my food on the touch screen devices. I had gotten 2 medium meals and I waited for my food for over 20 minutes. I had started my timer when I started to get annoyed (which was about 10mins into waiting) and by the time I had left with my food my timer was at 15 minutes. I watched as everyone else who order big meals after me got their food and enjoyed it while I was still waiting for mine even though they had ordered AFTER me, and I had gotten a smaller order. When they gave me my food all of my food was crammed into one bag and both of the fries were in upside down. Not to mention not a single worker in the kitchen wears gloves or a hair net and I don't know how they get away with that. When I got home one of my burgers had a large strip of what looked to be brown lettuce on it, even though I had ordered them plain with just the hamburger and cheese. The burgers were soggy like they had been sitting for awhile and it was only a 5min drive home. The workers were not friendly and highly incompetent. I usally give people the benefit of the doubt because I understand that it gets busy and stressful but the workers were so unbothered and moping around like they didn't want to be there. I have never left a bad review on a restaurant before but I have also never received this bad of service before. So basically if you are looking to raise your blood pressure and endure rage, go to this McDonald's, they can help you out with that. McDonald's is McDonald's, it's fast food so you can't expect it to be the best but it should be fairly good. I have went to this McDonalds multiple times. Almost every single time they would mess up my order. Like for example I order a hamburger with only ketchup on it, they give me a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles. Not only that but there is usually never a line for this McDonald's (not surprised) and they still take forever to make ur meal. Also, every time they forget something in the order. For example, I order 3 small fries, they give me 2. The inside is pretty nice though, bathroom is fairly clean. Last, the service is ok. Usually people will stand at the window and see you waiting to pay and they just ignore you. Going through the drive through, one girl was very rude to me when I was ordering. read more

I am the type of person who avoids places like McDonald's because of the quality of there employee's, but when you are traveling they seem to be the easiest place to get a drink. (soft drink that is). but when they cant even get that right it is a shame. how much common sense does it take to put tea in a cup. well the manager named Adam is sure uncaring and paid more attention to a computer monitor then the lobby full of customer. Now don't get me wrong. i don't mind waiting when a place is busy, but that's why you have management. to manage times like that not just put food in a bag, and never look at customers. I think this MCD location could take some lesson from the MCD in Peru NY. that even know there customers by name, and really seem to care about there customer.
