We looked down from our table and saw a couple of french fries left on the floor. They were completely covered inside and out and on the floor with ants. They were everywhere, I told a couple employees who were sitting at a nearby table, and their response was "we have ants coming up through the floor from the foundation". Order was incorrect, soda was warm. Inattentive workers at the counter. By the time I finally got my correct order (after having to wait at the counter and ask twice), everyone else in my party had finished eating. Our drinks were tepid, with only 1 nearly melted ice cube. I asked for extra ice, and a top off and was told that I'd have to pay 25 cents for that. The dining area was decently clean. However the toilet seat in the Women's bathroom was dirty, broken, and sitting catawampus on top. We rarely go to McDonalds anyway, but this is one of the worst we've ever experienced. read more

Cleanliness was a disaster. The women's toilet in the bathroom was disgusting. Plus there was toilet paper all over the floor. The order kiosk was very dirty. So many smears. Plus it was out of paper so no ticket/receipt. Which apparently meant the staff was confused. And never made my order. When I brought it to their attention after an amount of time that was unacceptable, they seemed annoyed and confused. They eventually did give me my order but again seemed put out. This staff has no conceivable idea of customer service nor pride in their environment. Will never go back. read more

Okay, first off I went into this Micky Ds because I was in need of a bathroom and was desperate. I decided to buy a drink at least as a paying customer. This was a Wednesday evening so not weekend traffic but they had no sodas whatsoever, no iced tea and no frappes so thinking no soft serve either. The young lady was apologetic and I ordered an iced coffee. She asked if they could do those to some kind of superior, and was snapped at that "as long as it's one on the board". After I ordered I gave her a 5 dollar bill and she opened the til and looked embarrassed. No dollars and no change. What's up with that! The abrupt gal who was supervising then proceeded to dress the counter help down about knowing if she had any in her til then gave me a look when they couldn't give me change and asked don't you know there is a coin shortage?? Totally unprofessional all the way around and I felt bad for the little gal at the counter. I went ahead and got my drink but husband said I should have left it on the counter. McDonald's needs to screen their employees better. Especially those who are supposed to be taking the lead and setting an example for others. The service was absolutely incredible. We showed up at 10:50 something (we didn't check the hours) and they still served us. We got our food at 11:06 exactly. We just left, January 12. The guy who gave us our food was AMAZING!! Me and my boyfriend were having a rough day, rough days usually end up with fast food, and we chose the right one. A man with a full beard and a backwards baseball cap was our knight in shining armor. For $4.29 I should get a good size order of fries but when I opened the bag the container was less than half full so I went back to the counter. They gave me 2 or 3 more fries with an ATTITUDE! Philomath does not have a lot of drive thru restaurants and I'm pretty sure that if this McDonald's had any sort of real competition, it would have failed. I spent more than 20 mins in the drive through this morning, yet they still managed to give me cold and hard fries and a lukewarm sandwich. No napkin. The guy at the payment window was nice enough as was the young woman who handed me my drink, but the guy who shoved the bag of food at me was downright rude (I said NOTHING to any of the young people working there about the long wait - it's probably not their fault). At least they got the order right this time. About a third of the time, the order is wrong. If I had other choices, I'd go somewhere else. read more

We have continued to use this place because it is blocks from our house, and few other choices around. Have rarely seen the same person twice in the drive-thru. Orders are often wrong or poorly packed. It is obviously a training issue. I think the high turnover must be from some really poor management over the last year or two. I visited this store 3/7 at 10:03am. Ordered my normal breakfast order and I wasn't in a rush or anything because I know this store is always slow because they're short staffed. Literally could hear the manager yelling at the employees with the window shut! She's so rude. I also observed her picking up trash on the ground, not wash her hands, and then package orders. Now that's quality you can taste. This manager is always yelling at the employees so it's no wonder that they're short staffed. This store is also staffed by younger high school and college kids from the community. Providing jobs for the community should be something the manager would feel proud doing but instead she just yells and complains to her staff not caring who hears. It is always dirty, and the staff is very rude. 99.9% of the time we go through the drive thru we are pulled aside to wait for our food, once it comes out to us, it is usually cold. WOW....I brought my family in for ice cream after a OSU football game tonight. We ordered at the kiosk. When I returned from the restroom my kids said someone announced that the ice cream machine was broken. I had ordered about $12 worth so I went to the counter to get my money back (I had used my debit card). The kid at the counter was nice but didn't know what to do. He gets the "manager" who eventually makes his way from the fryer and says he doesn't know how to refund my money because apparently the "real" manager never trained him. The real manager was sleeping soundly in her bed and he would not call her. So I told him just open the register and hand me cash...then leave a note for the manger for the morning...seems simple right? He said he can't. And he just simply refused to give me my money back and NEVER even apologized. I couldn't believe it. Instead he scribbled the store phone number and the name of his manager on a piece of receipt paper and told me to call in the morning. He then just walked away and back to the fryer leaving me standing there I live 100 miles away, it's not like I'll just roll in on my way to work one morning and get my money back. UNBELIEVABLE....of all places you think McDonalds would train their people to know what they're doing. Also....the kitchen was nasty with wrappers and food all over the floor. DO NOT GO HERE. I'll update if and when I get my money back. Better be soon or I'll be writing letters and making phone calls to the corporate office. UPDATE: I called the manager the following morning. First off I found out my wife was cheating on me. So the decision to go for this tasty treat came out of desperation (emotionally) even though I'm totally keto, I just HAD to have the master of all fake meats "one hard pressed meat to rule them all, and in the darkness eat them". Upon being rejected twice in one day I realized my life was that of a failure. That's when I realized I also had diarrhea...sweet Jesus this restaurant gave me the runs just from being there and smelling the fries (I am certain). If you want your entire life ruined as well as starve this is the restaurant for you.
