She reminds us of our co-worker from the 70's, Betty. Bubbly and friendly, and dances around while standing. Only negative: They didn't cut my Deluxe Qtr. Cheese. I'm a neat freak eater, and as I cut them in the car, it got messier & messier! They don't wrap hamburgers anymore, so they couldn't cut something that was already BOXED, it wouldn't look appealing to us customers! I understand that completely. Service was beyond horrible!!!!! They had 8 employees I could see but I had to wait over 25 minutes for only a sausage egg biscuit. Then had to wait to ask for my money back. Don't waist your time getting off I-70 to get food there unless you have nothing better to do than sit inside a McDonald for 30-45 minutes to wait on your food.... Not to be confused with MapDonalds, which is where you go to buy a map, if anyone even buys those anymore. Located right off of the highway in the middle of Missouri you will find this McDonald's which is not bad, and food is usually fresh and hot, but they do mess up sometimes. I think the main problem here is that the drive-thru and the parking doesn't have enough space so it seems like a bit traffic jam free for all trying to get in and out of a very busy store. read more

The staff are so RUDE. I've worked in fast food my whole life and have never treated a customer how they did. I always take care to be extra polite to fast food workers because I know there's so many rude customers that can make the job a living hell. So, I just don't know why these employees took it upon themselves to be so rude. When I first pulled up I had to wait about 3 minutes (there was only one car ahead of me) and when the guy answered he rudely said "What do you want?". I tell him my order and then I ask for a moment so my husband can tell me what he wants. While my husband is trying to tell me his order the guy just kept loudly talking over him about apple pies (I'm not sure why he was talking about apple pies when I never even mentioned one). I couldn't even hear what he was saying so I had to have my husband tell me twice. We get to the window and the guy seems nicer but after he takes our payment he hands me the card back he mumbled something under his breath. We go up to the next window, the guy there doesn't ask us if we need a drink carrier, and just hands us three messy drinks; the McFlurries we had gotten had ice cream all over the sides and the drink didn't have the lid on all the way and almost spilling in my car. As I'm waiting on the food, the guy starts staring at me and then laughing before going to grab my food. He hands it to me and before I could say anything he slammed the window on me and walked off. I didn't want to say anything rude to them or be a bother (but it seemed like I was a bother anyways) so I just drove off. I know McDonald's isn't a great job, or any fast food for that matter, but they don't have to be so rude and mean towards their own customers. Why am I reviewing a McDonald's in the middle of Missouri? This is why: My wife and I walked in here to grab a quick lunch (don't judge please, we had a 16 ft long truck that was a pain in the ass to park). As soon as we walked in, the first words out of my mouth were "Oh fuck." No, it wasn't because I smelled McDonald's and remembered why I never go there for non-breakfast items. No, it was because there was a super long line of teenage kids. All the seats were occupied too with teens and a few parents (I'm guessing chaperones). In other words, I felt like I had just walked into hell. Amazingly I only waited 2-3 minutes before I gave them my order. I then only had to wait a few minutes before getting my food. The McDonald's next to my old office in DC would have given me my food the following day if it faced such an onslaught of people. So 5 stars to this McDonald's for being super, super efficient and being able to handle a huge crowd of people. read more

Went through there tonight about 6 o'clock the kid gave us our soda at the first window or second I should say after we paid, the third window we watch the kid drop the ladies food all over the ground so they came back to our window and asked us to pull around the front of the building and wait for our food. Its your typical American McDonalds! The interior is relatively smaller than other McDonalds but it's spacious enough to fit 3 x family of 5 comfortably. Most of the customers are travelers that come off of I70. Like most McDonalds, they serve all day breakfast and their offered meals are nothing special. The restrooms are clean and the food comes out quick. Also, this McDonalds is next to the Shell gas station so you can fill up in your stomach and your car at this stop. They have 1 x soda machine with 12 choices and two choices of tea (sweeten and unsweeten). read more

I stopped here at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. The location is convenient off of I-70, but i quickly learned that the traffic flow through the parking lot is less than ideal as only one line of cars can get through -when the drive through is backed up, the entrances and driveway are blocked too. We stopped here first for our afternoon ice cream cone. We found the place to be very small and crowded. After a long wait in a long line (relatively speaking for a fast food place), I was informed that their ice cream machine was "busted". We then went to use the restrooms but found the odor overwhelming near the doors to the restrooms so we both decided to head on down the road. Please: 1) Clean and fix your restrooms and 2) Fix your ice cream machine. We will not be passing through here anytime soon, but do those two things for your regular customers. read more

We go through the drive through of this McDonald's often enough to recognize the guy who is at the first window. We ordered apple pies and 10 other items and payed. Before we could drive through to the next window a lady manager came and told us that she told him multiple times that they were out of apple pies. She then proceeded to yell at him. I have never written a review about Mcdonald's before. This is how bad of an experience I had. My brother and I dined here during a long rode trip to get something to eat. We both had our order taken by a short blonde girl who was the most hostile employee I have ever seen in the food industry. She was mean and spiteful to both me and my brother and even had the nerve to take the bag my brother's food was in and throw it on the counter. All the other employees and managers acted like they didn't care or didn't know what the heck they were doing. The ketchup machines kept shooting air, causing an explosive effect. Both of our fries were under cooked, which wasn't a big deal, but my brother was served a chicken sandwich, and they got his order wrong... not to mention that they put raw/under cooked bacon on it. He was so mad, but considering the treatment we received, we were both unwilling to talk to the blonde hag again. Look, my brother works at another Mcdonald's location, and I don't expect very much from fast food service, especially from places like Mcdonald's. But these folks lowered the bar to even my expectations. If you're going East on 70, skip this location; There's a Mcdonald's five-ten miles farther that was way more willing to serve us. read more
