I sent my son up to Imo's in Warrenton on 12/19/24 at 5:24 p.m. for 24 toasted ravioli and a MEAT LOVERS XL pizza. GOT home with the wrong damn pizza. Do you know how that changes a mood when serveral are waiting for the correct order. WELL IT ISN'T a happy occasion. MY charge card was used for this family order placed by my son and I did do a written review on line and we called to let them know AUDREY took the order incorrectly even after she repeated it where our entire kitchen heard it on our end. $56.93 wasted for incompetent help. WHY should I have to place my own order ? If a worker can't get the order correctly OVER THE PHONE than either place her in the back to try and prepare the order but not on the phone . HORRIBLE service.. When we called to letthem know of their mistake. NOTHING was done to correct their mistake. The boy said oh that is what you ordered. This Imo's has now moved to three different locations. I would've easily given it five stars because I just simply love Imo's pizza. But, I will explain exactly why I only gave it four. Atmosphere: the restaurant now is very small. They have eliminated the fountain soda drinks to where you need to ask for refills. There is no salad bar anymore. But, all in all it is a pizza joint and they have wonderful pizza. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Restaurant is extremely clean. They just need to quit moving it to different locations so you don't get confused. Service: simply placed an order at the register. They make your pizza to your liking. They deliver it to your table, but I always ask for Parmesan because it is in back in the refrigerator. Food: They are always delicious! For me, I can eat it cold or hot and I just love it. I do wish they still had the salad bar, but what can you do. The main reason I gave it four stars is they keep moving the location and it is a smaller location. They are probably trying to place it in the right area for the right customer base. Honestly, I thought being placed in front of the Warrenton 8 movie theater it was a great spot. As a first time visitor to St. Louis, I had no idea what foods I should try here. I was staying at a hotel in Warrenton and after driving 15 hours straight from North Carolina, I really did not feel like going anywhere to get food. When I found out that Imo's (is it pronounced emo or eye-mo's?) is a local pizza delivery place, I decided it would be what's for dinner! The cheese, called provel, is a combo of cheddar, swiss, and provolone cheese. It sounds like it would taste funny, but it's actually a really great combination. The crust is really thin and crunchy. It might not be everyone's cup of tea....but this is a St. Louis style pizzeria, not New York style. So, if you want giant artery-clogging slices, go elsewhere! Imo's does have a thicker crust option, but wanting to stick to local cuisine, I didn't try it! The delivery was prompt too. I wish Imo's was everywhere! read more

This is a one of a kind Imo's... It has an ALL YOU CAN EAT LUNCH BUFFET. Now, I'm not from St Louis, and I'm indifferent to Imo's Pizza. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, nor the worst. But I used to go out to Warrenton frequently for work and my co-worker (a native St Louisian) went nuts for this place. Not only do they have all you can eat pizza, but there's toasted rav, wings, salad, and dessert, too. Do I think this merits five stars? No, I don't. I honestly don't know what it merits. But I do know that whenever I tell people in St Louis about an all you can eat Imo's buffet, way off in a distant town west of the Missouri river, they act like I'm talking about Shangri-La or something. "What's that you say? An Imo's with hot, fresh pizza...and I can eat as much of it as I want? And there's wings, there, too? And...and...I can eat all the toasted rav I want? OH MY GOD!" As our group left Imo's tonight on of our group of 9 friends said, "Home of the Cardboard Pizza"--- well put. We were passing through and it was dinner time and there were 9 guys getting hungry... Pizza sounded good and Imo's had the best Yelp rating so we figured we'd give it a try. Big mistake. We figured the two extra larges would feed us but as soon as the first came we knew that $45 worth of pizza they were bringing wouldn't come close & ordered 2 more. Even then no one went home stuffed. Those 4 pizzas were the thinnest crusts & had the least amount of toppings I've ever seen. The cheese seemed the consistency of velvetta -- no real Mozzarella here! The people were friendly, place was clean, but it wasn't a Pizza Ranch or CiCi's even. read more

I have come to love and constantly crave St Louis style pizza! We got the all meat pizza and it has slices of bacon on top!! Mm mm! My daughter got a pepperoni, black olive and tomato pizza! The tomatoes are small quarters of slices and add a great accent! My son had chicken, green pepper and banana pepper pizza and said it was fantastic! Love Imo's! read more

Pizza is good, but customer service is really a problem at this location. I had a small piece of what appeared to be vinyl (maybe packaging???) in a piece of Italian sausage. I took it to the counter and the showed it to the lady. She looked at it and said nothing, finally I said "this is gross", she said "it sure is, I'm going to show this to him". This store has moved from the shuttered outlet center to a nearby strip mall. Nicer store, flat screen TV's. I am a fan of Imo's anywhere they are located. On this visit I had the lunch buffet...I wished afterward I had ordered a pizza of my choosing. The buffet is average with fresh pizza coming out often. Better choice is hot pizza to order, thin crispy crust that Imo's is known for. This is my stopover when traveling by on I-70. read more

I ordered a medium pie and I was NOT impressed. I'm from New York so I certainly know good pizza and this was not it. The pie was the equivalent of putting tomato sauce on cardboard. I called at 123pm and the pizza didn't show up until 240pm and YES, was lukewarm at best. For those who gave it 4-5 stars, they obviously don't know good food. I ordered a deluxe pizza with no mushrooms to go. Went home and ate 5-6 pieces from the edge. The first piece I ate from the middle had mushrooms all over it. There were none on the edge pieces. I looked at the rest of the pizza and there was mushrooms on the rest of the pizza. I almost puked when I realized I just ate some mushrooms. I fracking hate mushrooms. So I now had to drive back up to the store and get a replacement. The woman at the counter was a bitch about it and would only give me a 12" pizza to replace the one that they make wrong, like I was trying to scam them. Like I put the mushrooms on the pizza. I placed an order around 6:30 today for a half order of salad in a full order of salad also a 8-piece wing I called around 7:30 to check on my order they told me it was walking out the door another hour later my Food have still not arrived I am very disappointed with this store because I was at work and could not go out and get something and there's not too many places that deliver. It's good. It is after all Imo's. The daytime staff doesn't seem to really care if they keep your business at all. Be it delivery or pick up the general atmosphere is that you are burdening them by ordering. If you are looking for friendly or fast...forget this particular Imo's. I ate Imos 4 to 6 times a week for over a year at the Warrenton Imos. Then with in the last couple of months the food was not consistent. One evening it would be great and the next not worth feeding to the dogs. The portions are not the same that you order. The manager gave me a free mostoccoli for wax paper stuck to the cheese on my garlic toast. I didn't even order cheese . The free order was cold , watery runny and looked as though some one had messed with my food. Not fit to eat. Another experience was with a roast beef sandwich with 3X the meat. One day it is piled high with roast beef and the sandwich weighs of a pound. The next time the portion is small and all stacked in the middle with no meat on the ends. I brought it home and weighed the container sandwich and ajus. It barely weighed 11 ounces It was dry and not fit to eat. One day the food is great and the next day it is lousy. I will never go back to Imos. Not when I suspect the evening manager was messing with my food. I complained to the day manager and she just tells me that he is a nice kid and would not mess with my food. After a year I know what my Imos food should be and what it should not be. It should be consistent with every order and it is not. No uniformity. You never know if your order is going to be good or bad. No telling what else this good kid is doing to your food. read more
