So first off I don't prefer this place at all . Only when I'm at my last resort for lunch for the kids . I showed up to this drive thru at about 12 30 or so . I was greeted with a very loud and angry lady on the microphone. She was very rude and abrupt and snappy . She wasn't even really able to remember my order . Plus for spending 35 dollars on .. 2 mcnugget meals , crispy mcChicken meal , hamburger. Also I asked for 2 extra orders of fries and didn't get them . To top it off the nuggets and the mcChicken were dry and over cooked . I usually look and check my food but I was in a hurry and rushed home to find this out. It shouldn't be this way when you spend money on fast food . Especially when you ask for fresh fries . They gave us one fresh Fry but tasted like they heated it in the microwave . I hope there is something you can do about this . The lady was older and had blonde hair very rude. So hopefully you can take care of this situation. The MOST irresponsible fast-food location, period. I went here on Thanksgiving, because McDonald's corporate listed it as being open all day on Thanksgiving. I was not alone, as I witnessed at least 10 carloads of fellow fools who believed it. The lights were all on, including the drive-thru. One by one, after about 5-10 minutes each, the drive thru moved. What I did not realize until it was my turn, is that no one was home. I knocked on the drive thru window after giving up on the speaker. I knocked on the main door....no answer. Three people, one in McDonald's shirt, were partying at their cars outside of the main door...vaping and drinking. This may have been why. McDonald's corporate continues to insist that location was open, even as I watched fool after fool join my ranks of fools. I would like to say it was a one-off with someone having an emergency, but this is the third time it has happened at this location, where the workers simply decided to go somewhere else. read more

I am SOOOOOO tired of people at this McDonald's ruining my day. It's almost constant. But this is only the second time I've left a review about how rude and inefficient they are. I ordered a McFlurry they didn't charge me for it they wouldn't allow me to order it at the window but the worst part was they said 'we're busy right now we can't take orders at the window." This McDonald's is consistently appalling. Be prepared to have someone basically crap all over you if you drive through there. The guy taking my order made a mistake because he was in a hurry. Strongly suspect the oil my French fries were fried in was used to boil a pig. By far the foulest McD's fries I've ever had and barely warm at that. My chicken sandwich also had a similarly foul grease taste. I ate it against my better judgement due to my degree of hunger and now have a belly ache. At the second window where I received my food I was greeted by three howling female employees (all facing each other and not the customer btw) daring each other to belt out various songs which to my dismay they did, until one turned and off handedly gave me my order. Consistently cold food. They're always out of something. As a diabetic I order Diet Coke. Too often they give me a regular Coke then don't apologize when I point out to them the damage they can potentially do via this mistake. Many say, "What do you expect, it's McDonalds." What I expect is food served fresh and hot and fast. Never happens. This place has gotten no better. Their wait time in the drive thru is at 7 minutes per order. Dreadful. Seems they can't take the next order until the open order is paid for. At approximately 6-7 minutes per car to fill orders now you find yourself waiting 5 Minutes or so before placing your order. This place needs management. Finally, the corporation has provided waiting areas for orders that are slow in coming. They don't use them. There is no interest on the part of the staff to keep things moving. This place sucks. read more

I typically go through the drive thru but this time I decided to go have a seat inside. This was the cleanest and most up to date McDonald's I have ever been in! They have an air hockey table and a play gym for the kids. They have an ordering screen if you don't want to go up to the cashier. They have light up tables. Ok, I understand it's McDonald's, what can we expect, right? Wrong. This particular McDonad's fails time and time again, to the point where I would wait to get to either Robinson or across the bridge in Ben Avon to get my food. Constantly serving McDoubles that are messy, missing condiments (ketchup,pickles, S&P, etc), not filling your drink cup anywhere near full, fries are always cold and over salted. But, customer service as far as drive thru is concerned, is excellent and cheerful. But, I get the feeling that they keep the "crappy" food just for drive-thru so people won't complain. The last time I went, I went inside to sit down and eat with a friend. We both ordered the same thing, 2 McDoubles with small fries. Her first burger was an entirely plain burger - no cheese, toppings, or condiments. She was graciously given a replacement. My second burger - lacked every topping and condiment but had cheese. I didn't feel the need to complain because I did not want to waste the current burger to eat my replacement or vice versa. And, I hate going inside McDonald's restaurants to eat and the last time I did, solidified my disgust. I do not need the doors to the play area open to hear seven children under the age of 10 running and screaming. Close the doors, lets be serious. I know, get over myself, it's McDonald's. But, you expect to get what you spend your hard earned money on, right? And, since you can't complain online - here's my review/complaint. -Enjoy. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. I have tried going a couple times to see if it has improved but it has not. Management needs to prioritize the customer. It should not take 30+ minutes to get through a drive thru. Also if you are in the drive thru line 20 minutes before breakfast ends you should be able to get breakfast instead of waiting until they are no longer serving breakfast to be waited on. I usually love love love McDonald's breakfast. Caramel macchiato and a bacon cheese mcgriddle. But today at the moon township location I was extremely disappointed. My macchiato was cold and 1/2 full and my food was also cold. Don't go here. I have had many issues with this McDonalds but the past 2 times i've been here have been the worst. about a month ago I came after work around 7pm I ordered and was met with this older white woman in the drive through handing me my food. I ordered food for my family and I and was only given the happy meal. She said to have a good night, I calmly told her about my other food and she claimed that was all i had and I was trying to steal from McDonalds. Cause a happy meal would totally be 15 dollars the manager got involved and the woman after claimed it was a long night . I avoided this location for a while until tonight I was off work at 8 pm 12/5/22 and needed a quick grab and I showed up not knowing she was working. Just as last time I got to the window and the older woman told me to pull up to the side and she would bring my food out. another car stopped behind me waiting the same. 5 mins later she comes out with it immediately confused and asking what I had I told her then told her I was missing food. She annoyingly accused me of stealing once again and demanded my receipt. As I looked for It she took my food back to the car behind and gave It to them they said It wasn't theirs and that they had other things. I find the receipt i put in my pocket as she hands me back both bags. she says that the other car had similar things that I ordered and grabs the bag through my window while i was holding it to talk to them. she proceeds to offer them my food which they deny because she had been digging through it and passing it back and fourth with me. She runs back inside finally to get their correct food. when she comes out she brings me the rest of what I ordered blaming the manager for the confusion and claiming 'It had been a long night' as she had the past time. When she came out I calmly asked if she could get me my order made again due to the fact It had been getting passed back and fourth and touched by literally the car behind and her searching through it. she Told me they wouldn't do that and that there was nothing wrong with her searching through the bag and no germs or anything and claimed if i went inside and asked they wouldn't make it again and I would have to pay and once again blamed her manager. I left and threw it away unfortunately you never know where peoples hands have been. This older woman ruins this location completely. this location is already sub par and has its issues this woman just makes it look as it were run by a child. Generally I have had no problems with this location. Friendly and efficiant. Today was NOT a good day!Ice cream machine was down which I have heard is generally the case. The older lady at the register almost bit my head off. I ordered my daughter a happy meal with double fries and no apple slices, she didn't get double fries. Our drinks came without straws and the girl at the food window seemed to be somewhere else, not real focused on the job and had a huge hicky on her neck! I came home dissatisfied for the first time from this McDonalds. They are probably distracted from more renovations happening around them! read more

Absolutely the worst McDonalds ever. I have traveled the world and have never experienced a McDonalds like this. Line for ordering so long it took 1/2 hour to get to order window. Then the young lady told me to go into a parking spot. After waiting 1/2 hour I summoned the gentlemen that was delivering orders and asked about my order. He said he would check on it and came back 10 minutes later with my order. He was very apologetic and I told him it wasn't his fault, even tipped the guy. went there this morning to sit in line for 20 minutes. the clock hit 10:30 and i got to the speaker trying to order breakfast only to be told that they are not selling breakfast anymore even though i was there before it ended. the person taking orders at the speaker was nice but (for the person in front of me) took at least 5 whole minutes to even say something across the speaker. i will not be returning as this has happened several times. read more

Can you give less than 1-star? I have been to many McDonalds throughout the country. This is the worse one by far. It is always dirty and poorly maintained. I have yet to have my order correct on first try. The milkshake machine is operational only 25% of the time. The staff is constantly being replaced (sign of poor management). I like McDonald,s so this not a fast food snob review. Do yourself a favor drive down University and goto the Cori McDonalds. That one is always clean and great service. read more
