I ordered Orams DoughNuts from here because they are a Resell Outlet for then. Ordered them on a Thursday Online and picked them up Saturday @ the Coraopolis Store. They were just as Fresh as if you went to the Bakery to pick them up.. The First time I was Introduced to them was when I worked @ usair and a Friend I worked with lived in Beaver. If I won the Football Pool @ work I would give my Friend the Money to bring them in read more

Super cute spot- lots of great spaces to enjoy your food and bev. We went on a Sunday morning. While it was steady it wasn't too crowded. I had an egg bacon and cheese muffins- the muffins are homemade there and a strawberry lemonade. Very tasty and reasonably priced. read more

Anchor and Anvil Coffee Bar - a hand holding a cup of coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

I stopped by here early on a workday, before heading to a nearby meeting. When I first walked up, I thought it was closed, as there was no one there, I didn't see anyone behind the counter, and it seemed the lights were off. However, when I walked in, I saw the staff sitting in the corner. I would have loved to see this place during peak times, as it did seem like it had plenty of seating and some couches to hand out on. I ordered the cookie table latte and it was decent; a fun treat to start off an early work day! read more

A really nice coffee shop, and a great addition to coraopolis. Really spacious and a nice place to hang out over coffee. Service has always been good! read more

The blonde lady working the afternoon of 8/21/25 was an absolutely miserable piece of work. I wanted to try one of the specialty drinks advertised on the board but she stared at me for a moment and then said "why don't you just order a regular coffee?" and walked away. She took a few minutes to come back. I had to stay due to a work meeting other wise I would have left. read more

Came in with my bf as we had just moved to Robinson looking for a new coffee shop. I love coffee and we are both bodybuilders so we typically just drink black with sugar free syrup and on the weekends we drink an iced latte still with sugar free syrup, first we came in. The shop has a cute unique vibe and the coffee wasn't too expensive which was nice but. They were serving orams donuts and there were a couple flies flying in the pastry case and landing on the donuts which turned me off.... The coffee had extremely fruity notes which made it not really enjoyable as it didn't pair well with syrups. Maybe it's different if you can't taste the actual coffee if you get one of their full sugary specialty drinks but I prefer to taste the coffee even with some milk in it. Probably wouldn't come back read more

I do really enjoy coming to this coffee shop. It is close to my house and the coffee is very good. It is located on Fifth Ave on the right hand side. Sometimes when I stop in, I allow the barista to make whatever she wants because I honestly like it all. The vibes in here are perfect for me. There are many seating options, but of course the couch is my favorite. It is a great place to connect with friends or do some work. There is free Wi-Fi which is a plus! It is never too loud and the baristas are super kind. They open glass garage door in the summer for unique indoor/outdoor seating. I love sitting at the bar looking out to the street while enjoying a flavorful iced coffee. My absolute favorite drink is the Parking Chair. It is the perfect amount of coffee, sweetness, and cream. It is an iced drink, which I can enjoy all year round, even in the winter!! There are many flavors of tea if coffee is not your thing. There are also different flavors biscotti's and a couple different breakfast foods (see menu). On Saturdays, they get Oram's donuts. I believe you can preorder them by simply calling the shop. These donuts are amazing. There is also non-dairy milk! The whole coffee shop and single person bathrooms are always clean when I stop in. I recommend trying out this local coffee shop! read more

I stopped by here this past Sunday with my wife for our morning coffee. We were doing an airport drop off and so decided to look for local coffee options nearby. A dearth of them near Robinson had us dropping over the hill to check out Anchor and Anvil. We had been to their Avalon location many years before but never to this one. It's located right on 5th Avenue in the middle of the Coraopolis business district. The shop itself is fairly large with a bunch of seating in the front and then a place to order in the back. For my coffee on this morning, I went with a large oatmilk latte while my wife went with the cookie table. The menu described the cookie table as caramel swirl, vanilla sugar, espresso, steamed milk and both white and dark chocolate. Since it wasn't too busy inside, we both had our coffee and were on our way in under 5 minutes. Once my drink had cooled a bit, I was able to try it. It ended up being pretty good as you could really taste the coffee and the oatmilk. The coffee itself was strong and rich and what I especially liked about the oatmilk here was that it wasn't sweet at all and just gave off a nice oat flavor. My wife thought that hers was very good. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our coffees here and if you go here on Saturdays, you can order Orams doughnuts too. read more

Freaking delicious! Barista was so sweet and helpful, food was fantastic, coffee was superb!!

The coffee is decent, the ambiance and comfort nice, but as for the barista, I've had friendlier welcomes at the DMV. I'll keep searching for my fave coffee shop. read more

Arrived mid-morning on a Tuesday and the place was empty. Went up to order and it seemed like it was painful for the staff to say "hi". Despite it being empty, and some tables that needed to be cleaned, the two staff members sat behind the counter staring at their phones. Went to sit in the couch area and both the couch and coffee table were covered in crumbs. I went to grab my order and it felt as if I was annoying the staff by being there. While the Latte was good, the vibe from the staff killed the atmosphere. read more

very good coffee. latte was exceptional and oram donuts are the best. large store front windows allow a connection to the town.

Staff was extremely unfriendly. Did not seem to care at all that I was a customer. Ignored my questions and simply made my coffee and put it in front of me without a word or a smile. Food selection very limited read more

If this place didn't get Oram's donuts on Saturdays it'd be dead. The coffee is okay and it's a really nice location (Coraopolis) but the staff doesn't really seem to care about whether or not they work there. If there's a lull people coming in they just stand around on their phones while tables sit dirty and sidebar for cream and sugar is a mess. They're neither friendly or unfriendly, just uninterested. If you order hot food it'll come out cold from time to time so check before you bite into it. If you say anything about it they will correct the mistake but they make it feel like such a non-issue. No willingness to be better. I'm not expecting fake happiness and ass kissing. Just some actual effort. I'll wait a few more weeks before going back again. read more

Attractive shop with limited seating, but that is probably due to Covid. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Coffee was okay. Cappuccino had more milk than a cappuccino should have. The saddest part was the bagel. It was barely toasted and tasted a week old. I requested cream cheese and didn't get it. I wish I had something super positive to say but this coffee shop is just okay. read more

Wife and have been meaning to stop here since we drove past it last summer after breakfast at Tootsies. Glad finally did. While in Mexico two weeks ago, we would stop at a coffee shop on the resort each morning after breakfast for a latte. Well, we're planning on continuing that now that we're home (Saturday only) and Anchor & Anvil was the perfect place to start. Their lattes were really good. Great flavor and no sweetener required. We also opted for a cinnamon roll from Oram's bakery on the recommendation of the barista and were not disappointed. We'll be making a stop at Anchor & Anvil on a regular basis now. Highly recommended read more

My husband and I decided to check this place out . I love little coffee shops and this was a pleasant surprise. Excellent atmosphere with great coffee choices. My husband ordered a coffee that was half chocolate milk, half coffee. He loved it. I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and also was extremely pleased. It even had a cute little design on it as well. One thing I really liked, was that we were asked if it was "for here" or "to go". We advised "for here" and we actually got served our beverages in mugs/cups. We will be returning. They also serve Oram donuts on Saturdays which was also a plus. read more

I adore this coffee shop. I have been to their other locations but it was my first time here. Coffee is good and I love the different sections of seating. It's great for a quick grab and go, a little book time, working on projects, and gathering with friends. I would have given them all 5 stars but the employee forgot my bagel and we were the only ones in line. Will return in the future to this location and others. read more

Fresh Oram's donuts on Saturday. Nice staff and pretty clean inside. It's a very open space and feels like you can breathe. I found the atmosphere very serene and positive, and definitely a good change from some more claustrophobic and "cozy" coffee shops. Anchor and Anvil Coffee Bar - Chorizo wrap and iced coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Has great atmosphere, coffee was good. Creamer needed to be chilled not just in a thermos. Maybe more flavor choices would be nice too. When you're eating in and order a bagel toasted with butter it should be buttered, not frozen or very hard butter on the side. When you ask for a tip, do something. Idk like bring my bagel to me not just call out bagel and have to get it when you are the only people waiting for an eat in order. Could be so much more. Coraopolis is a cute town and you have a gem. Make it worthy and people will flood this business. Bake goods on Saturday seemed minimal (if there was more have the girls or counter person promote the heck out of them) they have a great reward program but without something to go back for, it could be a flop. First time there and I will come back but if I don't see some joy there I won't go a third time. read more

I'm so excited there is now a really good coffee shop relatively close to my house lol Clean, modern aesthetic, comfortable atmosphere. They use MadCup coffee, which is roasted somewhere in Michigan, I think. I got a cup of the coffee they had on drip, black. Some medium roast I can't remember the name of, but it was good for being drip. If only they served French press. (perhaps they do upon request? I'd pay extra for that) My boyfriend got an iced vanilla latte which was awesome. We also got breakfast sandwiches which were REALLY good. We will definitely be going back! It's an awful location so go help them out with some business! read more

I just about did a double take driving past the first time. Such a clever looking place so close to home and I had no idea. I am a self admitted coffee snob. I do not like Starbucks. Anchor has proper espresso machines and they seem to know how to use them! I'll be back. It gets better! They have Oram's doughnuts!! Double score! Now I am going to have to run there to burn off the extra doughnut calories. read more
