Today's adventure at McDonald's was a first. I drove up to the screen and placed my order. Before I could finish my order I was told to drive to the first window. So I pull up to the window to complete my order. I drive up to the second window and I'm told they are out of Dr. Pepper. They were kind enough to offer me a Coke, but I don't drink Coke. So I get my $1.07 back. I look up and they are dumping out my drink. So just to put them to the test fifteen minutes later I drove up again and got my Dr. Pepper. They couldn't be bothered to change out the syrup box when I was there the first time. Not thrilled with this customer service. read more

I give the staff 5 stars and management 0 stars. I came to this location on a really busy 4th of july night and the line for the drive thru was insanely long. As i got to the order pick up window i was greeted by the nicest girl (i didn't catch her name) and she thanked us for being so patient. i asked how many people were working and she told me that only 2 people were on grill and 2 others doing everything else. As a food franchise owner myself, I was so disappointed/impressed to find out that these workers were the only ones at the store handling everything by themselves. They were doing a great job and they were doing the best they could. Unfortunately a lot of customers don't understand that and just assume the workers are lazy when in reality it is management's fault for putting these workers in that kind of position. McDonalds employees if you are reading this right now: thank you for everything that you do. Management if you are reading this: Do Better. Schedule more people. Hire more people if needed, and give your workers the recognition they deserve. read more

Waited 35 MINUTES in the drive thru just someone to leave the line before they got the window and then for them to tell us they didn't have the order on their lineup at all and had to place another order and park our front. Waited an additional 15 minutes for our food to finally come out. ALWAYS check your order before you leave the window. You have a 50-50 chance of getting everything you order. Just left there with a 20 piece chicken nuggets and got no sauce or napkins. I routinely get the wrong drinks and I was busy checking those and didn't check the bag. read more

Very disappointed with all of my food. Everything was disappointingly COLD and the Sprite was very watered down. McDonald's fries are supposed to be America's favorite fries but these fries definitely FAILED tremendously. I'm not usually into burgers but when I do decide to have one I want it to be fresh and good and unfortunately the burger failed as well. OK, so I am not ashamed to admit I sometimes go to McDonald's. And this set up is perfect. In fact, I think this just might be THE most perfect McDonald's I have ever been to.. Merced is a town in which good fast food tends to generate exceedingly long drive thru lines, as a consequence, this is a town with multiple fast food locations. There are two taco bell's, two mcdonald's... one by Olive, one by the 99.. This review is for the one by the 99.. This Mc Donald's has been recently retooled to have a double barreled drive thru, which makes it so fast, it is almost like you don't even stop. I have clocked record times through this drive in, like, 2-3 minutes average. It is the fastest drive through I have ever seen. Not only that, it is located right across from a Starbuck's, which if you know like I do that McDonald's has not learned how to make a cup of coffee, you can get your star buck's and then get your McD... brilliant... all within a stone's throw of the freeway.... I am always seeing CHP get on and off the freeway here, I think they sit in the parking lot at Burger King and watch for speeders on the freeway and then go after them. CHP knows this is a place for being fast... you should too. Highly recommended. read more

Great Mcdonalds! Honestly haven't gone to mcds for a long while, but stopped by for some early breakfast at 7am. For a busy mcds the workers had great service. I asked them for quite a bit of extra condiments and granola for the yogurt and they where very polite about it. Love the cleanliness standard McDonald's has now and loved the workers here. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE service! Fries, cold. Nuggets, cold. The fry oil also needs to be changed! They are brown and don't taste like McDonald's quality fries when they're hot & ready! I ordered 4 plain CHEESEburgers I got for plain hamburgers.. not a big deal till I returned them to be fixed and the burgers were returned COLD with cold cheese. I didn't want them at that point, asked for a refund on just my burgers and one of the shift managers that was giving me my money tried to correct me by saying I had to requested melted cheese so that they can microwave it.. and that the cheese doesn't come melted. Ridiculous. You have to request a warm burger here??? I told him when the meat is cooked and hot the cheese melts somewhat on its own! Something is definitely wrong with this McDonald on Motel Dr. Their drive-thur sucks. I'm with the others that always have a two or three items missing out of there order. Recently this week I gave them another chance. I order 6 chicken sandwiches and 6 double cheeseburgers. When home and my kids got a double cheeseburger to eat and took a bite and notice it's only had one meat patti not two like I ordered and paid for. I look at the rest of the burgers and they all had one patties. I was pissed off.called McDonald And complain what the hell is wrong with you peoples trying to screw people's over. Had to go back and give them their damn cheeseburger back and get what paid for. The male manager didn't even give me no eye contact. Kept apologizing and gave me a large fries free. This review is based on my visit today. I ordered two #9, one #2 and two cheese burgers. The wait time to order in the drive thru was not bad. However, they had me park because my order was not ready. I waited about 2 minutes before someone brought me my order. I usually check before I drive off, but I was in a hurry to drop food off for my parents at the garden. Once I arrived I separated the food and the fries were already cold. Drive thru speaker doesn't ever work. Rude employees and mediocre food. I went this last time and the lady that gave me my food didn't even say anything she just stuck the bag out the window. She was ranting and gossiping with her fellow coworker. No hi bye or eye contact. Nothing. The worst McDonald's I have been to in Merced. First off, they didn't even let me complete my order after I ordered one item. Secondly, we were not pulled up to the window all the way when the cashier told us our total, so we both had to be reaching for the money. To which the cashier did not even repeat our order to us. So when we received our order on the second window we find out that we did not get the fries we order. Very poor customer service and rude employee. I understand they are trying to get as many people through as possible, but they need to do it in a nicely manner. This is not even the end, when we get home I check my McChicken sandwich to find 4 tiny strips of lettuce and a bunch of mayonnaise. My worst experience yet.
