We didn't really know what to expect but thought we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised in the quality of the food. We all got burgers and fries except for one of us who chose the healthy option and selected coleslaw, which was also very tasty. My personal selection was the Hangover burger which was delicious. Service was also very good. Olivia was very attentive to our needs and even helped clear up a mix-up at the end when we ordered a dessert to go. Thanks Olivia! If I had any complaints, it would be the inconsistent quality of the ketchup. There were 7 of us at our table and we ran out of ketchup. We ended up using the ketchup bottles from a few tables around us and some of them were just downright foul tasting. I'm not sure what the issue is here, but definitely room for improvement. In shock but understanding we said "we understand but our son only eats McNuggets and we're going to order." She angrily says "you need to leave. Go eat in your car". All 4 adults stood there dumbfounded and said "I'm sorry?" And again she barks "I'm not asking. I'm telling. You have to leave". We had every intention of ordering food and drinks and only needed our son to eat something. I would give them negative 0 stars if I could! McDonalds, located in Menomonee WI, has been getting worse by the day since COVID started over 2 yrs ago! First they used the excuse of "shortages" for food and staff to justify them shorting their customers and giving them shit seevice but... here we are in 2022... McDonalds has almost doubled their prices and pay their staff $14 -$17 an hour and STILL can't get a simple burger order correct! God forbid you ask them at the window to correct their mistakes... they literally look at you blankly, take your "oreo Mcflurry" back for a few seconds, leave it sit on the counter in your sight and then give it back to you without adding a single crumb more to the desert that you just paid nearly $6 f*cking dollars for (that you requested more coreos in!) "Oreo Mcflurry my ass! It would more realistically be called a vinnila cone in a cup - minus the cone because the desert was so white it appeared to have maybe 1/4 tsp of oreo crumbs in it! AND... on top of that, they forget to give you the damn Large soda you ordered, but never got because the damn kids are too busy talking and goofing around to listen to your order in the first place or check that your order was correct before handing it to you! In what universe do dumb ass, lazy teenagers DESERVE to make more f*cking money than middle management when they can't even get a simple Burger order correct ?! I've seen / heard it all at this location! Forced to sit and waitc15 to 20 minutes in the drive through every time you go to that location! Your order is screwed every time in some way or another! No napkins given most of the time! They don't pay attention to your order and inevitability enter it incorrectly! They goof TF off, talking, laughing, and on one occasion I sat in the drive through waiting for someone to take my order for 15 minutes, ( I was the only person in the drive through at the time) ,while two girls had a screaming fight inside the restaurant, which I could hear every word of them calling each other bitches and more, while I tried in vain to call to somebody through the order speaker to take my order! The owner of this location obviously gives no s*it how poorly their customers are treated! I thought these incidents must be flukes due to COVID but after more that 2 yrs of the worst service of ANY McDonald's I've EVER had the stupidity to continue to frequent... I'm done! Customers need to find a better place to get their food because the shitty attitudes of the jackasses working there will NEVER change or learn a damn thing about customer service until they get their asses chewed by the owner for forcing the only McDonalds in Menomonie to shut its door's permanently due to lack of proper service! I come from Milwaukee WI and trust me when I say that I've had far better service in some of the most trashy looking McDonalds, in ghetto neighborhoods in WI... but the Menomonie location... still ranks as the worst of the worst in poor customer service and lack of attention to detail by staff on the simplest of orders! BTW... the staff refuses to accept responsibility / accountability and will lie through their teeth to cover their asses by telling you "that it's illegal to tell you what their head store managers name is"! LOL... Like adult customers are too stupid to realize that these kids are just lying, trying to prevent you from reporting them to management! PATHETIC! SPEND YOUR MONEY AND TIME SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY ACTUALLY VALUE YOUR PATRONAGE... THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! read more

I was about to go through the drive through when I realised whoever was working had her headset on. I heard her arguing with her coworkers and called them the n-word, and also the r-slur. THIS WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I then went into the building and found there was no black person working. Which means theres a racist in this establishment. If everyone is okay with this person saying these foul words in a buisness environment, you will surely not be getting my money anytime soon! read more
