Bruce Lee came here to grab a McChicken to go. The prices have gotten really expensive! It's a newer brand McDonald's with a cozy dining room. They got the kiosks as well though I always recommend going up to the front counter to place your order instead. Food here wasn't bad, restrooms aren't fair condition as well. The size of food taking a while to me it was a typical McDonald's experience. Drive-thru wasn't too busy either plenty of parking as well. read more

Their portion sizing (shrinkflation) has gotten out of hand and has become borderline fraudulent. I ordered a Large fry with my meal and received a container over half full. When I approached the manager, I let them know that I should've gotten a large fry. They informed me that I got exactly what I paid for and that they are filled by weight, then handed it back to me with an unapologetic sorry. Your photo on the screen shows a bountifully filled sleeve of fries, and nothing is mentioned about the actual weight of the fries. I ordered based on the amount I saw in the photos on your menu. This is bait and switch and false advertising at that. I know that you are just following the rules that corporate hounds you about, but this is ridiculous. Please see my photo comparison of your menu board and website, versus what is actually served. Even your burgers are noticeably smaller and much more expensive. You should be ashamed to be the one of the most expensive places to grab a quick meal in 2024. read more

I would give this restaurant a zero if I could. It used so be so good. How is my review accurate? We spent $1257 dollars and some odd cents there in 2021. I had management tell me I didn't know what I was doing went entering my 4 digit code at drive thru. Sorry guys ... I do. We have less than 50% accuracy on our orders of just simple lattes both iced and cold and other items. I would get so sickened by my wife always saying they got the order wrong again. We would even compare it to our receipt. Oh gosh ... we ordered a hot latte and got iced. We got sick of waiting for them to get it right as they would tell us to pull forward. Sometimes they even got it wrong at the drive thru order station. Never in my life have I seen a restaurant be so good, and go totally down the tubes. I was speaking at work about it, and two co-workers said it was even worse for them. I do have nice news however. We purchased an expensive latte maker for home. Yes, we have to buy milk, coffee beans and syrup, but that is nothing compared to the waste of gasoline, time, and aggravation of waiting at McDonalds in Menomonie WI. Electronics are amazing now. We have spent anywhere from 11 cents to 72 cents in gas waiting at McDonalds Drive-thru. The best part of this review ... there is little McDonalds can do to ever get us back. When I asked how my wife liked her latte I made, she replied, "Better than McDonalds". Better yet perhaps, a friend agreed and ordered their own personal latte maker. read more

Friendly service and clean McDonald's. Love the seating areas with TVs. The access off of 94 is so great when traveling to Minneapolis. We make this a stop on our way to MN and on our return Joke in the family is that it my husband's favorite spot to eat after leaving the airport if we had been out of the country! read more

The Drive-Thru was pretty nice. The workers were healthful. The food was cheap. The fries were good. Even though, I only ordered a diet coke and a side of fries, I had a pretty good experience from this McDonalds. As far as McD's go, this one is pretty good. GREAT indoor playground, complete w/ separate eating area, books for kids to read, and video games for them to play. To top it all off, there are like 13 flatscreen TVs scattered throughout the restaurant, so while you wolf down your super-size-big-mac-with-super-size-fries-and-super-size-coke, you'll get to stare at a TV the entire time :) read more

If your kids need a break from the car, stop at this McDonald's in Menomonie at Exit 41 off I-94. There's a pretty fabulous indoor playground with a giant slide and seating for lunch. The whole play area is in a glassed-in addition and completely separate from the regular McDonald's dining room. It's all very old school McDonald's - I remember when indoor mini playgrounds were pretty common at McDonald's when I was a kid, back in the day when they did birthday parties with ice cream cakes. But don't worry: this location has definitely updated its bathrooms since then, and they do a good job keeping it clean and well stocked. This is a good exit to stop at. You'll be right in the town of Menomonie, so there are a lot of other food options in case you're getting tired of Chicken McNuggets: Wendy's, Arby's and Perkins are all visible from the McDonald's parking lot alone. read more

Super friendly and the food was fresh. I was also impressed with the large Play Place and the cleanliness of the establishment. I would recommend this McDonald's to anyone who is visiting Menomonie. From reading the other reviews, I expected this McDonalds to offer a positive dining experience. While the decor is more of the cheaply-made-to-look-upscale variety, the food prices were much higher than other franchises in the area. What deterred me the most was the various flat screen TVs blaring the inaccurate and usually guffaw-worthy Fox News - definitely not a bi-partisan source for accurate information. In short, I will not be visiting this McDonalds again. read more

Better food and service than the Perkins down the street. It is a bit expensive but that is because our wonderful government is putting extra fees and taxes on a basic meal. Overall I would eat here again and recommend this location for a good, quick meal. read more

The staff was mostly nice. The food was mostly good. The fries weren't cooked enough so they were really pale and soggy. My kids and I came in for lunch and we played in the play place. It's a lot nicer than other play places we've been to. There's an employee who comes in the play place every 10 minutes like a warden and surveys the area making sure all the rules are being followed. It's actually very annoying. Every time a new child or family came in she would come in 1 minute later to survey them. She told my daughter she couldn't play because she didn't have socks on. I didn't appreciate her scolding my 4 year old rather than telling me. read more

One of the best McDonalds I have been in . Very clean, Fast friendly service. Large play area - Very Kid friendly and seating for adults near, Plenty of other seating with news on several TVs. If you're in the area it is well worth the stop. read more

I know it's just a McDonald's, but this particular one is one of the cleanest and most customer oriented in the area. Love it!
