I've noticed some changes at Chipotle lately, and unfortunately they haven't been for the better…read more The first thing that stood out was the burrito size. It was much smaller than the generous Chipotle burritos we've all come to expect. It definitely left me feeling a little disappointed. The next issue was the chips. They were completely different from the chips I'm used to getting here. If this is their new recipe, I'll probably skip ordering chips in the future because I just didn't enjoy them. My last gripe was that they were out of Coke Zero. It seems like a basic item that should be stocked, especially during the lunch rush. On the positive side, the two employees working were friendly and did a great job with what they had. The problem was staffing. There were only two young ladies preparing food and ringing up orders while the line was about eight customers deep. It was just after 1:00 p.m., and I'd expect a restaurant like this to be fully staffed for the tail end of the lunch rush. It makes me wonder if management is trying to maximize profits by scheduling fewer employees. As for the burrito, it was your typical chicken burrito. No gripes other than the small size. The staff earned the three plus stars. Management needs to give them the support they deserve.

Very disappointed with my recent visit. The portion size for the lettuce was noticeably lacking, I…read morereceived barely any lettuce in my bowl. On top of that, the customer service was not friendly or helpful, which made the experience even worse. The ice machine had been turned off, so there was no ice available for drinks, and the food did not seem fresh compared to what I normally expect from Chipotle. Overall, the quality and service were below standard, and this visit did not meet expectations.

Wendy's, Manteca CA, Sept 2026. My husband and I made this our lunch stop on a road trip between…read moreSanta Cruz CA and Yosemite National Park. We were both tempted by the posters of the Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger, which we later learned was a limited time offering after winning the fan-favorite "Bring it Back" bracket. The sandwich featured a fresh, never-frozen beef patty (available as a single, double, or triple), a soft pretzel bun, warm beer cheese sauce and a slice of Muenster cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, and toppings (smoky honey mustard, crispy fried onions, and pickles). My husband ordered a medium combo ($14.29), with this sandwich (single patty), medium fries, and a medium soda, while I selected the same single cheeseburger ($9.49) and a small chocolate frosty ($2.89). Overall, our rating for the food was 5 stars. The burgers were amazing/ exceptionally good and served hot. Service was also friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean, and there was plentiful free parking. The only issue was that it was expensive. Our total, including tax, was $29.07 -- which seems to be excessive for fast food -- especially since we only got the single beef patties and only one of us got a combo. That said, we do hope that Wendy's will add this burger to their permanent menu offerings!

Staff is generally friendly, although there were exceptions during the pandemic. I usually pick a Loaded Breakfast Sandwich or a Jumbo Jack. Things aren't back to pre-pandemic levels but staff will assist you with what you need, and do it with a smile. I like what they do and how they are so friendly about it.

I'm really disappointed with the El Pollo Loco in Manteca because of several serious concerns my…read morefriend experienced while working there. My friend told me about multiple food-safety concerns. She said food that had fallen on the floor, including lettuce and chicken, was allegedly still being served to customers instead of being thrown away. She also said dishes were sometimes not properly washed and could still have food or soap residue on them. She also had serious concerns about management, especially Christiana and Maria. My friend said Christiana was rude toward employees and would tell her to reuse food that had fallen on the floor instead of throwing it away. She felt like she was being treated unfairly and slowly pushed out after refusing to do things she believed were unsafe. Maria, who was a shift manager, was also a major concern. My friend reported that Maria would cut employees' hours based on whether she personally liked them. She was also frequently on her phone and would sometimes leave during her shift. My friend also reported hearing Maria make racist and extremely disrespectful comments about customers. She said Maria would make offensive comments about Asian customers and make other racist comments about customers based on their race or ethnicity. There was also an incident involving a Black customer who specifically said she had a serious allergy to beans and asked for a burrito without beans. According to my friend, the order was still made with beans. When the customer came back to complain, my friend reported that Maria said, "I'm done with you black people." If this happened as reported, that is completely unacceptable and should be investigated. My friend also frequently felt uncomfortable at work because of the behavior of another employee, Johnathan. She told me that he would repeatedly stare at her butt, and when she noticed him doing it, he would continue staring. This made her feel uncomfortable while she was simply trying to do her job. My friend was only being scheduled around 1-2 days a week, and sometimes even less. She felt that her hours were being reduced and that she was being treated unfairly after speaking up about things she believed were unsafe. Eventually, she quit because of the lack of hours and the way she felt she was being treated. I really hope corporate takes these concerns seriously and investigates this location, including the food-safety issues, management behavior, treatment of employees, reported racist comments, and employee conduct. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, employees deserve a safe and professional workplace, and food allergies should always be taken seriously.
