We came here to grab a quick burger because there was "no line" and we were in a rush. Turns out, once you pay they send you out of the drive thru to a parking spot to wait- and wait we did. We waited almost 15 minutes for 2 burgers and a fry. Would not recommend. read more

Nice surprise and it renews my faith to try other McDonalds, even when 1 star. This is no one star McDonalds folks and most of the reviews are stale over a few years. The location is a tear down rebuild 3-4 years ago from an existing 20 year store. The parking lot is small, but for the amount of traffic they currently receive ok. However two new hotels just opened across the street. This could change the amount business. They also have a limiting one car drive-thru. Everything was clean and neat in the lot and walk up. The grassy side area has a picnic table under a shade tree and it was being used. They have room for a few more. The small interior of the store was clean with visible signs of recent wipe down of tables. I also witnessed an an employee taking out trash and cleaning. Ordering for eat-in was smooth. The employee was professional and efficient. A number is given for the table so staff can locate you. Self serve cups are unique to me, but I rarely ever eat McDonald's. Drinks are self serve, the area clean. Lids are in a dispenser, also new to me. Ketchup packets and napkins are nearby. Less mess with ketchup packs, but love pumps. The manager delivered the food within minutes..WOW! My Quarter Pounder with cheese was yum and hot! Cheese was not completely melted however. Fries seasoned perfectly and hot. My carbonated Coke tasty. My friend had a fish sandwich and apple pie also yum. Disposal of trash near the door was within its boundaries and trays have been emptied from the top. The area clean. A quick restroom stop in the rear was surprisingly clean too! All necessary supplies present. There is a theme at this store if you didn't catch on. The cleanliness stood out and I applaud the management team and staff. The service was on point at the counter and delivery of food. My burger was darn good. I may return since I'm here for a few days and it's close to my hotel. I hope I don't regret this. 3.5 rounding down with a single experience. read more

Total was $11.04 at the speaker, but was $14.08 at the window, no explanation on reciept, scamming gratuities? Pay attention.

the speaker, I said I have a mobile number and read off the number and letters and she said OK please pull around. I wait in line and then when I get to the window, she says that I never put in a mobile order. But I have a confirmation, and I give it to her again. I am super nice. Then the manager starts talking to her and he's throwing stuff around and seems frustrated and is having a melt down or a tantrum. He's getting very nasty with the poor cashier and she's putting up with it. She did ask me how many sauces I want, and I tell her I want four and then I can hear the manager say in a sarcastic voice for one sausage burrito??? He acts like I can't hear what he's saying and they start talking about my order. He's flustered and rolling his eyes. Then he says to her. Ask her why she didn't order through the speaker. And he won't talk directly to me, but through her and he's getting very mean and yelling. He starts getting ruder and snapping. I told the girl that I did order through the speaker and I have a mobile confirmation number, and that she told me to come around. She goes to tell him and he just takes the sausage burrito and tosses it in a bag and said she's holding up my line just freaking give it to her. I asked the poor woman is that your manager and she stated yes. I said, why is he being so mean to me? She just nodded and said have a good day. And of course they gave me NO sauce. I felt very belittled and I've never had a McDonald's manager make me feel like that. He was very stressed out, and I felt like he was taking it out on me and I don't find that very professional. I can only imagine what this manager is like all the time with the employees and I feel bad for them. I was nothing but nice and he was nothing but rude to me. On the way to work , I did cry. I've never had anyone make me feel that bad at a fast food restaurant before. I just think management should look into this and shouldn't have a manager that acts this way and that is this rude to customers. He obviously can't deal with the public or the stress of running a long breakfast line. On a good note, the sausage burrito was delicious even with no sauce. Oh, I give one star because you have to give something. The food is normally good. Today must be a day of new idiots at this McDonald's! I'm sorry goes, I go through the drive-through and tell me to pull to the side I pull to the side. They give me my drink and my coffee at the window. I pull into the parking spot no sooner did I put it in Park they come walking out with my sandwich in my brown. Without thinking about it I get on the highway I get on 90 the time I get to 534 I realize I have no straw, no big deal right! I pulled the cap the lid off and I begin to take a drink and because it is so full and 90 isn't a very smooth road. I spill it all over the front of me down my whole front side, I mean my whole front side. I tell him this and the young manager didn't know what to do, doesn't know what to do and stated that she'll make sure people get their straw. I said OK if you do that make sure they get napkins too so they can clean themselves up she clueless, and this warrants 15 or $20 an hour when you need one person a is almost $20. Across the street is sheets, you get a cheaper sandwich tastes better made your way. And you don't even have a $20 bill! I like McDonald's coffee. the convenience of the drive-through for coffee. This year incompetence of some of these kids today parentheses some of these kids, parentheses, not all. It's just mind-boggling. read more

The absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I have travelled A LOT so that's saying something. Went through drive thru today and as usual had to pull up to wait for food (nobody else in drive thru or inside). Then I drive all the way home and found my quarter pounder didn't have a bottom bun (no kidding). No patrons and slow and you didn't even take to 2 seconds to see if my food was correct. How do you send food out WITHOUT the bun. Seriously. Then I go back in to speak with the manager and she is rude to me because I am upset that this happened to me? That's right, it's my fault for being upset that her team couldn't put a bun on a hamburger. Management at this location should be fired for the incompetence they show. Will never be back again. Can't wait for Sheetz to open so I can watch this dump of a McDonald's hopefully close one day. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Got the middle finger when we drove into the parking lot for no reason. We drove in and a kid walked up to the window and stuck the middle finger up at our car. It was 9:00 pm when McDonalds closes at 10. Horrible horrible service! read more

My wife and I went yesterday 515/2018 about 0930 for a EggMc muffin and coffee. I had a coupon received in the mail, "eat fore 2 for $5.99." The also included a Patato Fried Cake. The deep fried cake Smelled like Paint. the EggMcmuffin was Greasy. We keep some of the "meal" in our Stomach for about 1 hour and our stomach could not hold it any longer, we had to "dump" the "waste" with a Grand release and "smell". Needless waste of money. We will not "try" a McDonalds again. Disrespect for your product and the Public is long remembered. Your Arches are FALLEN! read more

Horrendous. I went with my family today and they got my order wrong FIVE TIMES! Only one person apologized or made an effort to communicate, the rest of the staff just stuck their noses up and didn't say a word. The WORST McDonalds in northeastern Ohio. The managers need to train these employees in basic human respect, communication and ethics. Absolutely pathetic! I would be firing people if that was my staff. I waited for ever to get a small iced coffee, and they're prices are higher because they are next to a freeway.

Will never go to this location again. Ordered a fish sandwich meal and wanted a coffee instead of a soft drink. They charged me for the meal and a coffee. I question why I couldn't substitute the coffee for the soft drink and they said that's not their policy. I've done this at other locations without issue. Felt like I was robbed. read more

McDonald's in general has gone downhill. While they're busy trying to revamp their buildings by coping Chipotle and the like, their quality of food, service, and pricing is a joke. The last time I went to a McDonald's was the one here on River St. The dollar menu has been raped and maimed as far as I'm concerned, the "McPick 2" being a bastardized version of it now. The young girl who waited on us through the drive-thru was hard to understand and failed to give me the McDouble I ordered. I'm not going to lie, though, I did really miss their McNuggets. During this trip I was also reminded that this location doesn't salt their fries as well as their Rt. 20 location counterpart. Now I remember why I rarely ever go to McDonald's anymore. read more

This McDonald's has the worst service I ever experienced! I walked in to the building no one greeted me then I waited at the counter to have my order taken the manager/cashier was at the front never came to the register. I decided to go to the restroom to let her get herself together I came back and she was taking this white ladies order as soon as she finished she walked away from the register and said she will be right with me. I thought to my s of maybe she's going to get her order first and then take my order. No she did everything but make her order or take mines. My husband and I stop at the Madison Oh McDonald's every morning Monday thru Thursday between 9 and 10 am. Most of the time we have to wait anywhere from 8 to 10 minutes - too long for a drive thru. Thankfully most of the time we are not in too much of a hurry. So today we are there at 9:45 am - waiting 9 minutes in line. No one at the first window (short handed again) - the only thing we order is a small coffee. We get to the 2nd window finally - get our coffee and my husband is checking the cover (because this isn't the first time) and the cover is not on! Thankfully the coffee did not fall in his lap but did burn his fingers on his right hand - which has now blistered. Not to mention the mess in the car. AND no one even came to check or mention it. We left without a scene. AND the frappe and smoothie machine was not working - not the first time. Not a good morning experience. Needless to say we will not be going back there. They need more help and maybe more training on how to put the cover on coffee. Someone may really get burned badly !! read more
