The only complaints I have are no fries ( or fried anything )... only chips. They probably don't have a license for a fryer??? Also, it's extremely small inside. 7 or 8 tables. Technically 4 1/2 stars. But, the burger tipped the scale!

To happy to see Happy Bites has expanded from their Tinley Park location to Lemont & Romeoville!…read moreThe Lemont location has been open since June of 2024. The inside is smaller but very clean. The staff was very welcoming, gave us time to look at the menu, and was very professional. We decided to take advantage of the 60 cent boneless wing special as well as try their famous Nectar of the Gods burger. The 18 piece wing (half hot honey, half sweet habanero) wasn't too spicy but always had a good amount of breading, is crisp, and sauced well. The Nectar of the Gods burger had a lightly grilled bun, juicy burger, and i loved the melty cheese/sauce pairing! The fries also have a light peppering which I love. Happy Bites continues to be a consistent go-to for me and my family in the south burbs. I crave it when I visit, travels well to carry out, and portions are a good size to share. The weekly specials are great to take advantage of to keep costs reasonable!

Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the service team Erik, and Angela (?). Their friendly, prompt service continued thru the evening. I was part of a group of five regulars, one of whom was a colleague who resides in the area. This was fun time in relaxed atmosphere. I had a beer to start and later a Makers Manhattan, which was a Tuesday drink special. There was a good variety of food around the table. Wraps, chicken tenders, etc. I had the best grilled ham & cheese... real ham, cut from the ham, not some basic store bought thin sliced product. I swear I made a sandwich like this once from Easter leftovers! When the bill arrived for me and my colleague, I almost laughed. Approx $45 for two beers, a quality "top shelf" manhattan w ice ball, and two meals! (In any other major city our meal would be double that amount). The main entrance was through the patio. No big deal. Just a mystery on where to enter, as not clearly marked. If I lived in the area, I'd be a weekly fixture.

It was decorated super cute for Christmas and it was warm inside with the space heater. Our server was very attentive, prompt and friendly. The food came out quick, hot and tasty! We all ordered different drinks. I ordered the Cranbery Sangria and it was perfect. Definitely reccomend! For appetizers, we got the spinach and artichoke dip with chips and fried ravioli. Both appetizers were delicious! I liked them both so much and can't pick a favorite because they were equally satisfying my taste buds. For our main course, we ordered a traditional thin crust pepperoni pizza and a gluten free sausage pizza. Both pizzas had nice perfectly cooked crispy crust. The gluten free crust was just as good as the traditional crust. The pepperoni was flavorful and had a spicy kick to it, which I enjoyed. The sausage on the gluten free pizza tasted like it was homemade and fantastic! The sauce was a little sweet for my liking but not bad by any means. I just prefer less sweet pizza sauce on my pizza. I would definitely return again whether in their igloo dining in the winter or anytime through the year on their patio or inside. Highly reccomend!

One of the things that stood out to me so long ago was the fried pickles. They were the best I had ever had and nothing has changed. The pickled are fried to perfection and the sauce is amazing! I never passed up cream of chicken and rice if I see it on a menu so I ordered it and I didn't want it. There is some herb they add which is not usual in cream of chicken and rice soup. It was a bit overpower ing. My friend ordered the same soup and thought the same thing. I ordered a smashburger because I love the pretzel bun. The bun was still amazing. The burger was just okay. I don't think there was any seasoning on the patty itself. It was a good size burger (two patties). Our server was really nice. She was very attentive. It wasn't too crowded on a Friday night and not too loud which I appreciate. I would go back and have fried pickles, maybe a drink, and try something else. I think it's a solid place.
