I appreciated the opportunity to order an apple cider in season. The ability to get fresh and vegetarian-friendly food in this area is valuable. It's not fancy, but it is fresh.

( last several years no knives). Not sure if they still do this but before they wanted to throw your salad into a bowl then crop, crop it to death and put in your bowl-not for me but I could use a plastic knife so I can cut my pieces my size! The server seated us and was very attentive to our needs. From the bottomless coffee to the follow-up order for one of those homemade biscuits, our server made us feel like we were her only customer! We loved this! Our family ordered the eggs, bacon and toast, as well as a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, the granola parfait with berries, and the kid-sized omelette with a side of sausage patties. The portions were large and no one was left wanting for more food. We had to try the biscuit, so we sampled parts of it but ended up getting most of it "to go." The flavor reminded me of the biscuits my mom used to make when I was a kid. Delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant and know you will find a little bit of something for everyone here. The restaurant has plenty of room for all diners, inside or on the large wraparound porch. The food is served in large portions and the service is second to none. They literally come up to your car, take your order, and bring your food back. I loved the old school feel. It took no time for my food to arrive-about 7 minutes. I got a burger, onion rings, and a hotdog all the way. The onion rings were fresh, hot, and had the perfect amount of salt. The burger was well seasoned, had that crisp, grilled taste. The hotdog was good as well-chili was perfect. It was such a nostalgic feel and definitely a must visit for the experience.

Almost every time it was boneless chicken. No zack sauce and not enough ingredients to make the salads. I had to ask what they did have. Today I wound up with the Asian sensation salad. After I ordered they told me that they ran out of the egg roll that was supposed to be in it. The salad was OK and tasted good but was not as good as others from Wendys or Chick-fil-a. I will probably try them again in a week or two to see if they have all the items they advertise on the menu board.
