I witnessed the customer service representative make the smoothie and they definitely use very little amounts of fruit inside their smoothies and a whole lot of ice and water to prepare their smoothies. The facility was clean. The ambience was very nice and calm. The staff were pleasant. Tropical smoothie Café does not offer a variety of sizes to choose from for the smoothies. I placed an order online for the first time on Monday & picked it up at the drive through window. Everything was correct, just like I ordered & it was ready when I arrived. I got the snack size protein bowl, which I though was amazing! The fruit, peanut butter, granola - it's all so good. You have to order online to pick up at the window, so I did that again today! I was early for my pick up but they had it ready in no time. I'll definitely be back, the pick up window is so convenient! I also hope to dine there sometime to get a feel for the ambiance.

An absolute staple in Winston-Salem!…read more Juice Shop is a very humble storefront in Thruway Shopping Center. There's not a ton of parking, but you can usually find a spot. Check out the menu posted outside before you go in if you're a newbie, because the line moves very quickly. They used to be cash only, but they do now accept cards. They do offer mix ins (first one is free) like calcium, protein, and bee pollen. They also showcase a smoothie of the week, which will be slightly discounted that week. My personal favorite is the guava gulp! I also love the strawberry splash, but I like to sub the frozen yogurt for pineapple sherbet in that one. I personally would try them without add ins on your first visit - the protein specifically does alter the taste a bit. There is no seating inside, you'll walk up to the counter to order and stand to the side to await your smoothie. They are in the $6-7 range, but they're pretty big. You can also get them to split it into 2 cups if you want to share, but I like keeping all mine to myself :) I am forever a Juice Shop stan!
