It's my first time at this location and the drive thru is still in the dark ages. I ordered a quarter pounder with no cheese and no pickles, so sure enough that makes me end up in the waiting area so they can push more customers Thru instead of rushing my order Thru. Sure enough they messed up the order, yep I got no pickles which was good but even the ticket said hamburger but ended up with cheese all over it. It was so gross I had to throw 1/2 of it out as I got back to work. I'll never go back here again unless I have to use their bathroom. read more

Don't go through the Drive-Thru. Not sure why this location does this but ANY ORDER gets pushed to the waiting spots, even if there is no one behind you they ask you to pull to a spot and wait for your food there. I've repeatedly complained about this, they apologize give you a free meal but you go and then again you get sent to a parking spot in the drive-thru. It's beyond annoying and I would love to know there rationale in doing this because it obviously is not making anything faster, it's just pissing more people off. read more

"Customer Service" ends when the receipt spool runs out! Looking to save a little money in these difficult time? might be better to drive on...... (Shell station nearby makes really good sandwiches and they give you receipts!!) Went to the drive window didn't get a receipt. Told that the receipt spool ran out.. Asked for a receipt to get the BOGO Egg McMuffin (to save a little money), Told "No receipt" asked for the manager and she said "sorry No Receipt" and she walked away.. When I asked for her name she didn't return to the window but was told her name was "Alexa" (pretty sure she made that up), and she never returned to assist.. Usually it's easy to say that they are all the same. You would be so wrong about this location (restaurant #1527 in La Grangeville, NY. The sitting area is always clean on my visits. The staff has always been polite, friendly and focused. Customer service is a priority. It's worth the visit, if you're passing by, to see firsthand how real customer service should be everywhere. Drive thru is now a joke. Always asked to pull over and they will bring it out. Today with no one in front of me and no one in back of me I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and medium fries. When I get to the pickup window they immediately say they are waiting on the burger and for me to pull to spot 2 and wait. So stupid. Just shut the drive through down. Was in the area visiting family and needed a quick lunch. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. The staff didn't act like it was a bother to be working, what a refreshing experience. My food was hot and the order correct. Based upon experiences at McDonald's in the area I live, this place was exceptional. Sad that it isn't the norm any longer. Thanks to this location, I had a very pleasant lunch. read more

Truly the most unprofessional and worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I have never written a review on any food establishment before but this experience has compelled me to. I went in at 6:30am when it was nowhere near busy so I'm not just complaining because staff were overworked. No one time help when I went in, staff wakes right by me without acknowledging, the order took a long time to get to me and when I finally got to My destination and opened up my bag half my order was missing after the worker behind the counter assured me everything was in the bag. Best fast food joint I've been to in years. Period. This is very hard to admit,but for the first time in 25 years- I'm flying through this drive thru to get a big greasy- yes, greasy- burger. Just went four times since Friday. Grease dripping down my arm from a fresh, thick quarter pounder deluxe. I never thought McDonald's could feel me back in. I can't even go to their competition anymore because I'm afraid they'll slip me a fake burger patty. I took my kids here last week. My order was taken and the young lady lost track of us multiple times. As I was not in a hurry, I didn't notice. After a series of forgetting our drinks, not calling us when our food was ready and not putting a cookie tote order in (which takes a while), a young man by the name of Jahsheem came to my table and apologized for everything that had transpired. He was polite, friendly and respectful but above all else, he was intuitive and noticed what was going on around him. He gave me a $10 giftcard for a future visit. I did not complain nor did I make any gesture that I was unhappy and this young man took it upon himself to make sure their mistakes did not go unnoticed. I was so impressed. Its a McDonalds, at this point if you live near a computer or phone with access to Yelp you have eaten at or at least know what a McDonalds is. This McDonalds is no different. It is one minute off the Taconic Pkwy which is a plus. If you are desperate and need a quick stop this is it. The kids working here are probably from the high school next door. They are usually really nice. I have seen the McDonalds crowded sometimes as I drive by but the line moves. I stopped off to get fries to go with my Hannaford chicken fingers. read more

This McDonald's is very poorly run. There are too many workers. Many of them were dealing with to go orders and neglecting those who were eating in. My order of a hamburger and chicken tender meal took a half an hour. This is not fast food. On a positive the staff was polite and apologetic. read more

Hubby and I were on our way to Amenia when we wanted something quick for dinner so this was the nearest fast food establishment. The cashier was very friendly, repeated back our order properly and our food came out promptly. Well, we were in amazement at our food - the fries were hot, crispy and perfect. Our burgers looked like they should be in a commercial - the bun was perfect, the burgers were cooked perfectly and it was incredibly juicy and hot. Even the pickles were so fresh - I am drooling thinking about this double quarter pounder with cheese that was so good and this is not my normal experience at this chain. Even our drinks were perfect - my sweet tea was one of the best I've ever had from this chain. We had to call the manager and tell him all of this to which he said he was very appreciative and would order a pizza for his staff to tell them thank you. This McDonald's is right down the road from my house and I stop in all the time...typically to get a sweet tea, chicken nuggets, or just a large fries for the ride home. I recently downloaded the app and I've been using that for the past few weeks. I have gotten particularly bad service over the last couple of months. If my order is not ready when I pull to the pick up window, they tell me to pull up to the stop line (a STOP painted on the ground about 10 feet past the window) or to park in one of the curbside pick up parking spots. This happens even though there is no one on line behind me. It turns out McDonald's restaurants get rated based on the time it takes to serve a customer on the drive-through. I have repeatedly been sent to the parking lot to wait while my order is being prepared and with no on on line behind me. Typically within 30 seconds of the parking, someone comes outside with what I ordered. When I am at the pick up window and I ask why I have to wait in the parking lot rather than at the window, I'm told, "It's corporate policy sir. You have to go wait in the parking lot." Today, they told me to wait in the parking lot for my sweet tea when no one was in line behind me; of course, they did this to limit my time at the window and increase their metrics when compared to other store. I just left without my drink. I spoke with two managers about this issue and they told me that the owner of the stores has had them on a push to get people through the drive-through quickly. It's a sad state when a business as large as McDonald's inconveniences customers and prioritizes metrics over service...and when McDs treats customers as if they're stupid. I deleted the app and I will no longer purchase food from any McDonald's read more

They have very nice staff and they I always get my food fairly quickly. However, during some points if the day it seems like more staff working the register is needed. read more
