For whatever reason you still can't eat inside at McDonalds. They are really milking the covid 19 situation to only use the drive thru. This used to be a good place to go inside and have a frappe. Even for a McDonald's, this is pathetic. We walked in, a mop bucket was propping open the women's bathroom door. It was not busy. The bathroom had 0 toilet paper and a dirty beyond belief bathroom stall. My friend ordered a burger. She got chicken. I tried to order chicken tenders, but they were completely out. Also out of cheese sticks. I heard a lady order an apple pie that she brought back up because it wasn't apple. Shocker. I'm a local and go to this McDonald's about every six months to see if it's ever going to get any better. It hasn't. Cold food. My quarter pounder today looked like it was old and one side had been refried. Limpy fries. It's bad. There are three McDonald's in Kingman and the only good one is the one inside Walmart. Absolutely the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Stopped by the drive-thru while on our trip to Havasu falls and we were extremely disappointed. The fries were cold and hard and chicken nuggets were also cold and chewy. The one bottom bun on a burger was rock hard on one side and another one had two bottom buns...really? On my McChicken I asked light mayo, they decided extra mayo was what I should have. It was also cold. Tbh I didn't eat any of it after two bites. They gave no napkins, no ketchup (to be fair we didn't ask and this is typical at any McDonald's location so fine whatever on the ketchup), and they forgot our iced tea so we had to ask for it. This one is a problem - the lines can be terrible (But, they get buses - so that's not their fault) However, fair warning - the drive thru line has consistently upsized (and Up-charged) me when I said "NO" clearly. This happens at the drive-thru only - I suspect that their metrics incentivize upgraded orders and the people at the drive -thru upcharge you and hope that the travelers don't notice - or, if they do, they don't bother to do anything when way down the road. I am a teacher and I went to the McDonald's in Kingman to get milkshakes for my student helpers. The milkshake machine was broken which was ok, but when I ordered a Mcdouble and asked them to add lettuce and tomato, they charged me 90 cents extra. This is the second time they have added an astronomical price for an extra item. I asked why and the manager told me that the owner can charge as much as he wants for whatever he wants. To whom it may concern, I moved to Kingman 5 years ago and this location is the most convenient for me to stop and get a quick bite but I have to say, I have never been to a MORE expensive MC D'S in my life and not only is it expensive but they like to break off even a little bit more by what in my opinion looks like a fudging of numbers. If you know simple math and look at the price that is displayed on the menu board, then ad tax, then look at what you end up paying at the window. Take a look at how the receipt lays out the price of the drink and the meal, then ad tax and for some reason, in my experiences the price is always more???? Isn't that stealing if my math is correct? Also, the food is very inconsistent, one day its decent for fast food the next its total garbage. The bread will be dried out, half full container of fries etc. I hate this location. You are much better off if you have a few minutes to go to the Denny's across the street, the food is much better and the menu price is what you pay, no weird math. For the price of a chicken sandwich meal or a double quarter pounder meal, you can almost get a big T-bone with better choices of sides much better service etc. Like I said before, In my opinion this place sucks! Never go again after today's experience..done! As for a comment by another person saying this place is a welcoming place to get off the highway to eat....are you kidding?
