This place was pretty clean, and I liked the different assortment of chairs you can sit on. Especially if you have little ones. The restroom was clean, and it was easy to place an order on the kiosk. They had various specials going on. The lady at the register was kind enough to inform everyone prior to ordering. I was a little surprised this location didn't have the steak patty they offer. I dunno if this is the worst overall McDs I've ever been to, but it's definitely both the most expensive and the slowest. First off if you're ordering be ready to just order whatever the current specials are or go to any of the other nearby restaurants that charge at least close-to-normal prices. I guess corporate leans on them to make some things available like the McDouble/McChicken meal deal and the 2 for $6 when that's on, but everything else is off this planet. A single plain cheeseburger is $4.50 just to give you an idea of where it starts. They really charge more than the McDs on the Strip. And then expect your order to take up to 30 minutes somehow even if the lobby is fairly deserted and the drive-thru line is slow. They've got two people just standing at the register looking at everybody and not doing anything. It's nice you want to employ the special needs or whatever but leave that for Goodwill and all those, if your kitchen is backed up 20-30 minutes under only modest load you really need those two more bodies back there. And forget them cleaning the nasty tables nobody's doing that. Anyway if you need the Greyhound stop it's here though. Stopped here to get lunch, and breakfast for next morning. Apparently, the place we were headed to doesn't have restaurants around and this was our best bet to stock up until next afternoon. Just like every other branch, the service was fine but we had to wait long for the food to arrive although we were the only ones there. It was only next morning did I notice that the burger I ordered for breakfast came in just with the patty and no bun. I felt so annoyed because I paid for the entire burger and it was too late and miles away to replace it. Terrible service!! read more

Stop here at least once when we drive to Vegas. Usually only use the drive thru. Just can't seem to get through quickly. Sunday around 11:15 am, 1 car ahead of us. 10 minutes to get to the window for our food. The quality of the fries saved them from a 2 star rating. The fries were fresh and seasoned perfectly. Breakfast to go in Kingman AZ This is a busy, heavily trafficked location since it is on the way to the Grand Canyon and other historic sites and landmarks in Arizona. You have nearby a Flying J and Chevron plus a truck wash and few restaurants so it can get busy here but at 8:30a on a Sunday morning we walked in and lucked out with just a few customers. In fact, we didn't even have to stand in line, there was none and we were assisted immediately. Just needed a quick breakfast but seemed like a long wait for a simple order. Staff was friendly but too early in the day for a smile. They did make a mistake with our order. Saw that we received 3 extra hash browns, discovered this when we already hopped back on the Interstate 40 freeway. The hash browns were super greasy though but I enjoyed my Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit as did hubby with his Breakfast Burritos. The front boasted a sign that read "Get your Big Mac on Route 66." Unfortunately, our experience here delayed our trip for 45 minutes. I was going to empathize with their lack of workers excuse but my views changed after I overheard an off-duty manager chatting with an on-duty crew while waiting for our small order around 7:30pm on Saturday, November 6. The store was busy at the time we visited and the manager holding up a crew's time just to chat makes the wait even longer for other people. It actually tasted like hot coffee with a hint of chocolate. Breakfast - The sausage McMuffin with egg is the reason to go to McDonald's. These where probably the worst ones I have eaten. The English muffin was toasted and looked perfect. When you touched the muffin it was spongy in texture. The muffin is the star of the breakfast sandwich. Service - Double drive thru lanes and windows fast and easy. Credit card machine is handed out the window, COVID style. The lower score is because they forgot a hash brown on the order. Wow, what a disappointment. I stopped in here on my way back from Vegas to Phoenix, ar 6:20am, and grabbed 2 egg mcmuffin sandwiches. The sandwiches were $5.69 each. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food that I received. The cost was almost double what a sausage mcmuffin with egg would cost. I guess that dried out Canadian bacon is expensive nowadays. The English muffin was dried out and very hard to chew as well. With the amount they're charging, I would expect that the sandwich would at least be put together correctly. Instead, I received them with the eggs half off the muffins. The sandwiches was nowhere near worth what they're charging for them. Mark this down as an expensive lesson. They also need to mop the floors in front of the counter and drink dispenser more often. They were sticky. read more

Stopped by here after almost two hours of monotonous driving for coffee to keep from falling asleep and was met with the most helpful and sincere people that you would ever want to meet on a road trip in the middle of covid. Food and napkins were all over the floor and the bathrooms were out of toilet paper and grubby. One guy was laying down in a booth asleep. I have been to this McDonald's twice driving from Las Vegas to Arizona destinations. After driving several miles in the desert, it is a welcoming rest stop. Situated a few hundred feet north off I-40 exit 53, it serves as both a rest area and Kingman McDonald's. It is a hub for travelers bound for Arizona parks and cities,Barstow, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and so on. And it is busy. From my experience, McDonald's does a good job managing the place. There is sufficient parking and employees. And it is clean. The prices seemed to be jacked up. In the future, when I travel along I-40 or US 93 in Arizona, I could see myself stopping here if I am in the mood for McDonald's. read more

We placed an order through PostMates, and when it arrived, 3/4 of our order was missing. We immediately called the store and they said they would make the missing items. We went down to pick up the missing items. Kind of defeated the purpose of using PostMates, but we still needed our food. When we got there, the manager, Jessica, was very helpful. Apparently she was in the office for a bit and had to come correct some errors made by her crew. She was friendly and professional even with the obvious stress she was under. We've been to this location several times, and our orders have always been correct and complete. I don't know if this was an error from the store or if the PostMates driver just didn't give us all of our bags. Either way, Jessica made it right, and PostMates gave us a credit for part of our order. It wasn't the best experience, but we are pleased with the effort to make it right. This was about 8pm on Jan 1, 2022. We were on our way home to California. We stopped at this McDonald and had to go through the drive thru two times in a matter of 15 minutes. The food window girl had a terrible attitude. One of the visits they forgot a drink. My husband politely told her we were missing the coke. She snapped and said you didnt order a coke. He said he would pay for it and it was on the order screen. To this she just flung her hand out and said 1.08 repeatedly. Another employee walked up and shows her we did indeed order a coke so she proceeded to make it and hand it to us. We left and got about 15 miles down the freeway and our children opened their kids meals. Upon opening them, the kids meals had fries and empty chicken nugget boxes in them. At this point we were no where near a McDonald so all our kids had to eat were fries. The prices at this McDonalds were a lot higher than normal places, I feel like the quality and orders should be on point, yet we paid 12 dollars for fries and drinks. I wanted to off myself after this visit. All I ordered was French fries... waited thirty minutes. My order number said it was already served on the electronic display sign, but it was never called. There were only five people inside, so I would have heard it. I attempted to get a staff members attention several times to ask about my fries and they would turn their back on me. Finally I had to basically yell for them to acknowledge me, and they handed me a bag of fries within 0.2 seconds after that. Stop and take a picture at the sign but don't go in. On our 900 mile drive from Sacramento to Arizona, this stop has been one of our best. The restaurant and bathrooms were both very clean, the staff was very nice and offered smiles and friendly conversation. The wait for our order was brief and the food came out hot. They have a happy employee bringing "for here" orders out to the guests tables for their convenience, which I've never seen in a McDonald's.
