Took 20 mins to fix the mistake. Worst A&W we've ever had. Everything tasted old and was way over salted. The restaurant is dirty inside. Do not recommend this location.

I look inside, my order is not coming out. The latest person who ordered inside leaves with his food, and I decide to go in. As I do, I see the sign that states a limit of 5 customers is allowed inside due to Covid19 restrictions. (Now I know why I was asked to wait outside; it turns out the fact I was picking up was an unrelated curiosity to the young man behind the counter. He promptly forgot about me as soon as I was out of sight.) Going in, there's no one at the counter, and no one bothers to check who came in for several minutes. Finally I get noticed by the person serving the drive-thru, and the kid gets called to the front. He asks if I'm picking up again, and then asks my name. He then starts preparing my "ready for pickup in 15 minutes" online order. It's been over a half-hour at this point. Five minutes later my order is ready; another 5 minutes later I'm home with our food. It's not very good. My "Hot Wings" aren't hot in either sense, and the poutine is a congealed lump. Ordering online is a complete waste of time; ordering at all is a dubious exercise.

We ate with our coats on because it was quite chilly in the restaurant. Just not a pleasant meal at all. I do want to add that the young lady at the cash was very polite and did her job well. I think we won't be going back for a while.

Uber eats is trundling in too; I've seen about 2-3 of those. I'm gaining weight just from the smell!! I am giving this place a 5-star just based on the smell!! But I reserve the right to change my mind after eating. I love the decor! That wall with the jelly bean houses on it! Ok, by now maybe you know that Mary Browns is a chain our of Newfoundland, so I had to try this at least once. I never ever eat breaded and friend chicken; honestly, KFC is good enough! What can I say? I was hungry!! But I love Newfoundland, and I want to know how this compares!! Also to note: there was a lot of staff behind the counter, so things seemed to move fairly quickly. Oh and I saved something for next time: they have introduced banana pudding!! Sorry for the drool marks on this review... Two meal deals included drinks and coleslaw for, $28.00. I will update my review after I taste all this for the first time. My stomach is sincerely grumbling!! UPDATE: oh man, was this ever good! The chicken was juicy and tender, the coating was perfect! The fries were wedgies and already coated and flavoured, so we didn't add salt or ketchup. The coleslaw was so good that all they needed to do was give bigger portions! Delish!! Definitely deserves a 5-star!! Will return. Also fixed the spelling. Predictive text, my keister!
