I ordered breakfast using the new delivery service. After receiving notice that the delivery time would be 30-40 minutes, I placed the order. No big deal. The issue came when they apparently couldn't find a driver. The time was extended to an hour, and then even further to an hour and 15 minutes. I called to cancel the order at this point and was told there was no way to cancel the order and receive a refund. Absolutely ridiculous that one of the two situations can exist: EitherI can't cancel an order that hasn't been completed yet, or an order sits for over an hour after it has been prepared. On very rare occasions does a McDonald's really mess up, but an hour wait for 6 local deluxe breakfast platters is beyond ridiculous. I was asked to pick up food from McDonald's on my way to Ko'olina where some family is staying for the week. My order was taken at 19:57 pm (7:57 pm). Yes, I know it's at night, so a slight wait was anticipated. We paid, pulled to the pick up window, got our drinks and the happy meal and we're told to wait in stall 2. Fine. At 8:17 pm I decide to walk in and check. 4 of the 6 platters were ready along with the 2 quarter pounder meals. I was then told by Fahrene or whatever her name is (their shift manager) an older local lady with her hair in a top bun with a flower that they ran out of rice and it would be another 10 minutes. That would bring me to about a half hour wait. In my head I'm thinking if you knew there wasn't enough rice, you should've advised me of that when I ordered and you should've started making it 20 minutes ago. I walk to the car with whatever part of the order is ready. At about 8:30 pm my boyfriend walks in to see what's going on. At 8:47 pm I call him and he says it's still not done. I walk in and they had given my boyfriend a cone. What is he a child? Give someone ice cream to make them feel better?! Finally I see platters, but not mine. They're for 2 other orders who were waiting (because we weren't waiting right?!) I finally get my last 2 platters at 8:55 pm. Ordered me a breakfast #7 it was $8.79 idk why the worker did but it but she charged me each thing individually and not as a meal it came to be $15.36, They won't refund my money and it seems as if corporate don't care how this location is ripping off customers. This location is very interesting. I walked in and felt like crying. I won't explain why as my comments might be misunderstood. It was just a sad place at the moment I went. Not sure if it is always this way, I hope not. I am having my kitchen remodeled so I have no way to cook and the golden arches where there to save the day or so I thought. Did a mobile order and got the items, something smelled awful and I noticed there was brown staining on the cup holder. I went closer to see if it was this cup holder and it smelled like actual poop. It was so gross I went into the store just to tell them about it. The manager, who seems to be the main manager working this store during lunch time on weekends, just told me that thats how they come, no sorries, I wanted her to smell it but she didn't. She said its because its made of recycled material but unless its made from used toilet paper something else happened to it. I imagine homeless people went to the bathroom by the store and they laid their box on it or something so nasty and awful and to actually not even be apologetic to how dirty that is, super gross. Line was long so took a chance to order inside before work. I had a simple order; 2 coffees and a egg McMuffin. Girl who was taking orders on another register immediately got my coffee and when I asked the lady who was actually taking my order if I could have a tray she pointed me towards the soda area (which was fine; not a problem) I went to get my egg McMuffin which came out fast and the girl who made my coffee told me "don't worry I got you" she put my coffee in a tray and placed all my creamers and sugars in a bag! This location is better at drive through orders than sit-in ones. I've come through this drive through many times with my family or a friend and there hasn't been any order mess-ups that I can remember. Upon my latest visit, however, my mom and I ordered in person inside. My mom insists that her order took far too long, though she's been known to be impatient. She had a point though, I ordered after her and I got my #10 meal about 10 minutes before her happy meal for my niece was done. Unless a hamburger takes that much longer than nuggets... I'm not sure what the wait was for. At the same time though, maybe there were just a lot more orders for hamburgers than nuggets at the time so that could explain the back up. After we left, I realized they didn't give my niece anything to drink with her happy meal. We ordered an apple juice and it was nowhere to be found. This was just one experience going inside so take it with a grain of salt. I just find it a bit odd that the one time I decide to go in, food came out slow and something was forgotten, when all the other times driving through, there's not been any hiccups yet. My suggestion is to stick to the drive through and always double-check your orders. read more

I never thought I would ever write a review for a fast food joint. But I am spurred to write this one. I'm usually a pretty patient person, but going to a fast food restaurant and waiting more than 20 minutes to receive my order is ridiculous. I don't understand why they do not stay on top of what they have and don't have already made. One would think they would drop a batch of apple pies when they see they are running low. Of course not. That would be efficient. Can't have that here. To say that at this point I am angry is an understatement. Some may say I well. You went to McD, what do you expect. I expect to not have to wait over 20 mins for a damn apple pie because they don't communicate with each other that they are out! Since the tickets are timed from when they are paid for at the register, one of them decided to clear the order off the screen because it was taking too long. So of course they forget that I am standing there beginning to fume as other patrons receive their food and walk away. Did anyone ask me why I was standing there? Nope. You would think seeing a person in the waiting area holding a receipt having stood there a long while would evoke someone to ask what I was waiting for. One would ask were they understaffed tonight? No. They weren't. They had two cashiers. Which one of them ran away from register when her phone went of in her pocket. Seriously. Ran towards the bathroom so she could answer her phone. There was another employee at the window. Three putting together orders. One at the fryer and three more in the back in the assembly line. With that many workers how is it that they just don't do something so simple as to drop a load of apple pies in the fryer. It takes 10 minutes to fry. I waited a total of 24 minutes and still none came out. I got fed up with waiting and told them to give me a taro pie so I could leave. I waited so long for that one apple pie the rest of the food was cold. I will not be coming back to this McD again. read more

I frequently go to this McDonald's even though there are two other McDonald's closer to my house. It's definitely NOT because of the customer service. The customer service here is okay, I guess. This location is usually understaffed though. One morning we had to pull over after going through the drive thru. For a cup of coffee!!! I couldn't believe it. This location also messes up orders about half the time. This McDonald's gets 3 stars because it's constantly running it's own promotions. Their cones are only 59 cents and from 3pm-3am EVERY DAY Big Macs are buy one get one FREE!!! I would give this location 2 stars but their promotions get one extra star. read more

Wow! I thought I was the only one that had an experience with trashy crew here. Boy was I wrong!!! First, the positive... The food is good. Isn't most McDonald's? The end (of the positives anyway) The crew just is not up to par. My favorite experience was when we went through the drive through and had the classiest girl ever take my hard earned money. Apparently she spends hers on her customized line of tasteful jewelry. Today's piece was a lovely Hawaiian bracelet with the word "B$&@!" engraved. It was not tiny it was made to be seen!! Now it seems that that particular adjective describes the staff quite well but I am not sure you want to advertise it. Save the element of surprise for your customers to discover. Don't give it away!!! What's the fun in that??? All the sarcasm aside...wearing something like that is terrible. Allowing an employee to don it? Seriously wrong. I called the manager on it. If I could, I would rate this place with 0 stars. I went in this morning to get some breakfast before I pick up my husband from work. I had to pee really bad. When I went in, there was only two people, myself included. This uncle went first & then it was my turn. I politely asked if I could use the restroom first bc I really had to go before ordering. The cashier's name was Bryson or something. He said I had to order something first. I said "normally I would, but I really have to go. I'm going to order but I just have to pee really bad" he went towards this lady, which I'm guessing is his manager. Even tho they were at a good distance away, I could hear them talking. He told her what was happening & she looked at me irritated & told him to tell me "She can go but only this time. Next time, she gotta order something first" he came around the counter to go open the bathroom door & told me abt what his manager said. I just told him to come back to the counter so I can order since me ordering is such a big deal. I just wanna know what the problem was? I was the only one there besides the uncle, & what do they gain from me ordering before or after I use the restroom? They'd rather me hold in my pee just so I can order? These people so anal with their shit. If you're gonna work, try to maybe put on your customer service face. Idk what she was irritated about? When it takes more than 5mins for someone to at least acknowledge a customer, then there's a problem-especially when there's a line forming at the registers. Drivethru cashier and the one expediting orders didn't even look our way to at least say "we'll be right with you" or "someone will be right with you." An associate passes by to say "hold on" goes to the restroom & comes out a few minutes later wiping her wet hands on her shirt. Ok, 1 star, for at least washing her hands. Then she stands in front of the register and looks at other people sitting behind me. She's making hand gestures and mouthing words to them-i figured she knows them. The driverthru person flags the cashier-who went to the back to probably get something to eat (bec she was chewing) and instead of taking orders, she stares at their order screens and waits for orders to come out. Really?? So the other assoc tells her to take orders and she walks ever so slowly and tells the customer "sorry about that." When i finally got my order, the friend who was talking to the cashier brings her half-eaten burger and says a cockroach came out of it. When the mgr came out and asked her what's wrong (she's back at her table at this time), she tells the mgr: "oh i threw it away" while shes still eating the rest of her order! I smell SCAM! If u saw a cockroach coming out of ur burger, u would not eat the rest of ur order. Can this location be given zero stars??? That cashier needs to be fired! This has to be one of the worse McDonald's drive-thru's ever besides the one in Windward City Shopping Center! They had asked me to park because I had "special" orders. I was parked there for 20 minutes watching numerous cars getting their order while I was still waiting for mine! So my husband orders a meal and asks if he can substitute a drink to a mcflurry and was told in a sassy way "no cannot it's an ice cream." Then he asks if he could get a strawberry smoothie instead, with no reply from the worker my husband says "hello" (my husband is very patient) so when he said that the rude worker lady says "yah I'm still here". Drove through the drive thru this morning. Put in my order and drove up to the first window to pay. After I paid my order, I noticed the person who took my order forgot to indicate on the receipt/ticket order that I wanted 3 creams and sugars inside my small coffee. Drove up to the pick up window, I told her that I wanted sugar and cream in my coffee in a polite way; she gave me the look that says i should've ordered it in the first place and now you telling me this at the pick up window. Worst location by far. Cashier, no cashier for four minutes. Line longer than hell. No "thank you" or "sorry" forgot to give drinks on my mobile order and forgot items on a second order.
