Buyer Beware. I have waited a few months to try and get a complaint I made settled but the individual franchise owner refused to give me a refund after I found a USED BANDAID on the bottom of the bag they put our food in. It was disgusting. I immediately called this store to talk to the manager. He said he asked his employees and no one had a bandaid on. Seriously, do you think anyone would admit they lost their bandaid? Likely not. The bandaid could have come from the company that make the bags. Regardless this location did not care. The manager said I could come back to the store to get my refund. Not an acceptable answer. He could have easily found my receipt as I called about 5 minutes after returning home. He refused. I called the corporate office and was equally disappointed because all they told me is that I have to get my refund and complaint settled with the local owner. I have continued to call corporate McDonalds but they simply did not care either. I can only hope the letter I wrote to Jason Stoogenke from wsoctv.com will raise awareness. The photo speaks for itself. Beware of RAW meat. Unfortunately it was already bitten into before we knew. When returning it, a manager (hopefully not an actual one because she was extremely unprofessional) yelled out to the kitchen "Hey, make 2 burgers well done." Because McDonald's has a well-earned reputation for extremely hot coffee, I prefer to go inside so that I can get my coffee and then add a few cubes from the soda fountain to get it to a non-scorching temperature. A very simple order - number 3. It's the one with the egg white delight and it's technically not supposed to come with the hash browns as far as I know. I also asked for a sausage burrito but the girl either didn't hear me properly or missed it. While waiting for the coffee to be brewed (no coffee ready at 6:15 AM??), I was standing in an area that had either been poorly mopped or there was a spill that hadn't been cleaned up properly. Quite a wet spot with the caution thing sitting there. Ick. The order took five minutes. The only reason they even get a star It's because they give you the option of paying for your meal with a credit card machine outside the drive through window. I passed up Chick-fil-A to go to McDonald's simply because they did not have a long line I ordered a four piece kids meal. It was my fault for not looking through the box entirely I only skimmed Noticing sauce for the Nuggets( assuming nuggets was in the box). it wasn't till I got home and noticed that they only gave me a packet of apples and fries. I go in there and get a 6 piece nugget happy meal and an ice cream cone. Pretty simple order, right? Apparently not. They put my ice cream cone in a cup and then I tried to take it out and ALL the ice cream fell out. Just a cone. And the ice cream was partly melted. I asked them to remake it and they said no because that's how I asked for it (which I didn't). Then with my happy meal, I asked for rootbeer. They said "coke?" I said no, root beer. "Dr Pepper?" I honestly wouldn't give this location 1 star. For this location to be in Afton Ridge it should be better ran. The dining area was not clean, all the tables were dirty, nothing was stocked, the bathrooms were nasty, and the staff is yelling from back of the kitchen to someone who is standing in the dining area. Pulled off the highway on our way home from yesterdays Panthers game to get breakfast. Our visit was exceptional. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. The food was hot and fresh. The restrooms were clean. Being in a shopping center I would guess they get very busy at times but today at 11am we just had 2 people in front of us. They were fast and efficient. Do not eat here!! I used to to eat at this location 4 to 5 times per week for breakfast. I have noticed last few weeks that tables are dirtier than normal. The ice drains at the fountain system is stopped up and other things like that. But yesterday, a RAT crawled up my leg yesterday morning and sat in my lap!! I looked down after feeling something and saw it. I jumped up and several folks witnessed this. Manager gave me my money back. But not one time did he say he was sorry.
