It was Mother's Day so I placed online order for my friend. A double fish and fries. I also got a single fish. The fries weren't hot so I had to go back inside and get new fries. Then our fish: overcooked and extra greasy. Threw most of it away. This location must not do the sandwiches like the others do. We were used to light, flaky hot fish sandwich and fries. They do it perfect in some restaurants like Dunedin Causeway/Alt 19 location. Nevertheless won't be returning to this particular McDonald's. read more

Today I went through the drive through of your Homosassa, Fl store. My order was simple, 2 medium iced pumpkin spice! Now, I don't know if this is where the problem began but the cashier originally put in for 2 smalls...it was corrected, see the receipt attached. When I received my order, the cup looked small...just yesterday at the Inverness, hwy 44 store I purchased the same and actually received large sizes. I asked the girl if this is a medium and she assured me yes, it was. I didn't have my reading glasses on but after I pulled away, I looked and the cup clearly says...small for iced coffee. So I went back into the line and the girl that took my order told me they "downsize" for the iced latte and even though it clearly says small, it was actually a medium. What kind of fraud is this? I am annoyed with this, it clearly says small and I clearly purchased a medium. So on my way home, I did a little test...a comparison...like they do on youtube and tick tock...so, I went to the Dunkin Donuts, not the McDonalds in Inverness...see the comparison for yourself. The prices are nearly the same but the size is actually a medium! This is such bad business...In today's economy with higher prices and shrinkflation...I don't think this is a very good practice for mcdonald's or anyone. So what happened here? Sitting at the 24 hour drive through street a very late shift. It's open but they ignore you hoping you'll go away. Kind of disturbing.

Disappointed - went thru the drive thru at McDonalds Inverness. After the 'will you be using your McDonalds app' and the obligatory 2 minute wait for the order taker to take my order, I asked for an ice water with my water - they had the audacity to charge me $1.30 for a large ice water. I understand restaurants are being hurt by the effects of inflation on a typical dining family eating at home but this is ridiculous. No more happy food for me. read more

Horrible service! I know working with the public is hard, but they don't attempt to give decent service. My head was hurting before going to lunch, but they turned it into a migraine. I've worked at plenty of fast food restaurants, so I get how it works, but their just isn't up to any standards whatsoever. read more

It's McDonald's so I don't have to explain the food but it did seem super fresh the location is very convenient and the staff is SUPER friendly. Very clean inside and the drive through is open 24 hours a day on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. read more

I normally dont complain but it's starting to be consistent that the food is horrible when I go here. My wife wont eat there anymore and I will not either. I got chicken tenders and fries. The tenders are older than I am and the fries are cold and disgusting. Easily one of the worst places to eat. read more

Why? There are so many other choices. Usually my fries are cold and soggy. The burger buns are often smashed flat with hot wilted lettuce and warm mayo on the sandwich unless you special order. It seems they only get the special order correct about 50% of the time (even though you wait in a special parking space until they bring it to you if you use the drive thru.) I guess if you really can't go to another place to get good then it's what you're stuck with, but it's not the burger Ray Kroc and the McDonald brothers would have served you. read more

Visiting from WV. First thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. This particular McDonalds has the automated ordering screens (as well as human employees, lol) which I have not had a chance to use yet. I loved it because I could take my time and decide what I wanted. The major thing about here I noticed, however, was just how friendly and polite the staff is. It seems odd rating at McDonald's, however when you continue to have the best experience you take the time to post your review. And then to Inverness about a year ago, and with this location being open 24 hours, I have tried it on various times in various days. The staff are always incredibly friendly, the service is fast, and the restaurant is always clean. Many times you go to any McDonald's location, depending on if it's during their busy time or not, your food can be a little below standards. This location is either always busy or just very conscious about their food always being fresh for every experience. I never thought I would be ranking hey McDonald's, this is definitely the best location I have ever been to read more

Nasty, rude girl at the drive thru that somehow translated honey mustard to no sauce. As someone who has worked at a local McDonald's as well. I know the job and how to professionally perform it. This McDonald's sucks, every single time I order a frappe from them I ALWAYS request double blended , trust me I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE, anyways , it's NEVER double blended and when I tell the lady at the window who was too lazy to do it the first time she always gives me a disgusting look and rudely shouts comments to other workers. I went to the McDonalds to get some breakfast. It was close to 10:30. There was 3 people waiting to get their orders. The crew was walking around, talking to each other and doing everything except taking customer's orders. After waiting 20 minutes, someone was there to take my order. It was only then I was told it was too late to order the food I wanted. Management needs to hire some people who will take customer orders in a timely manner instead of ignoring them.
