I can't understand why so many are enamored with Chick fil A. It's overhyped and meh at best. Located next to the food court in the Paddock Mall I dropped by to grab a quick lunch while shopping. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich was barely ok, the waffle fries were undercooked and almost soggy (fries need to be crisp!), and the best thing was that they have Diet Dr Pepper as a fountain drink. Mediocre to me. I love chick fil A it's so good! When we arrived at the mall I decided to get some chicken! I waited in a small line, was greeted very nicely, ordered my food and waited. I had an iced tea, 12 piece and fries. I liked everything but the chicken. Unfortunately it was chewy... I'm not a chewy chicken kind of person. But the fries were yummy! I also refilled my tea. We tried the Honey Pepper Pimento cheese chicken sandwich. We both had the spicy chicken. It you can get grilled or original. Being from the south, we live our pimento cheese! The addition of the honey jalapeños and pimento cheese took their chicken sandwich to the next level! Chick filet never disappoints. We, with friends, went to the awesome Florida Horse Park to see & enjoy their Draft Horses event. Chick-fil-A had a food tent at this event as well as others. But Chick-fil-A is where we bought our yummy lunch. The Staff in the food tent was helpful, friendly and informative. Both Tom & I ordered chicken sandwiches that were tasty, temperature warm, and reasonably priced. Tom loved his chicken sandwich so much that he returned and ordered a second sandwich. read more

What can i say about chic fil a that hasn't already been said? Great food and Great service! Consistently good to great, which is a hard feat to pull off. I am always impressed by the fantastic attitudes from the employees even when they are in the trenches during lunch hour rush. They have a knack for getting large crowds of people in and out during lunch hour madness. A cool feature my wife discovered was that you can download their app and place an order and have it ready for dine in or take out a short time later. Chick-Fil-A in Ocala (3100 SW College Rd.) You would have earned 5 stars if you weren't changing your indoor playground into office space. Ocala barely has anything here to do and you were top of my list. I have been waiting years for Covid to finally end so we could come back and play. Guess Burger King in Spring Springs will be getting more of my business now. I love chick fil a and their fries! Every one I've been to has had the best service and this one is no exception. The staff are very conscientious and they don't mind if you take your time ordering. The food arrived quickly, though they did forget some parts of my order. The restaurant was kept very clean and the tables were orderly. You are not kept waiting long. A five star review for a fast-food restaurant? You bet! Why? Because the people are incredibly pleasant, and efficient. From the employees all the way to the entire management team. If you're not familiar with Chick-fil-A let let me tell you they have grilled chicken nuggets that are simply not from this terrestrial realm. Of course, they have the typical fried nuggets as well. It's refreshing however, to have healthy options when you're exhausted and just want something that is quick, easy and semi healthy. They offer a few other grilled options too. My inner child always comes out of hiding and the grilled nuggets always win. Be careful with the dipping sauces because those are loaded with calories. Just In case, you're watching that sort of thing but, I'm not. I mean have you seen me eat? I can go thru like 20 packs of dipping sauces on like like 10 nuggets, seriously. Talking about healthier options, the breakfast menu offers fruit cups and Greek yogurt. I tried the fruit once and it was fresh, nothing spectacular but an easy breakfast to eat. I want to mention the delicious lemonade that they make in-house. It's delicious but loaded with sugar. Don't worry, they also make a low sugar version that is just as good. As if I care about that though. The more sugar the better. What prompted me to review a fast food place-which I seldom do, is the fact that the employees are worth writing about. The people who work here are smart, kind and friendly. So many times at so many of these places, your order is wrong-and employees don't seem to care. All of my experiences here have been positive. Shout-outs to the store manager for having such a great staff and I know it's not an easy thing to pull off. They have an app so ordering online should be easy and they do catering too. The hours are a bit different depending on the day of the week. SUNDAY: CLOSED AS USUAL WITH THIS CHAIN I like this Chick-fil-A. I absolutely love the staff here, everyone is very polite and their customer service is excellent. I Only ever had one or two mistakes on an order but it was corrected immediately without complaint. I come here one or two times a week because I work in the mall. I use the mobile orders a lot, I also go in, each time the week for service is usually very quick. Excellent food, excellent service...pretty indicative of their popularity when there is a drive-thru line backed up at 2:30 on a weekday. During rush hours they have FOUR people outside: 2 taking orders, 1 cashier and 1 person at the window to hand you your food to speed up the process. Very efficient. Inside is very clean. I normally love Chick fil A but I drove thru last night to get a kids ice cream cone. The drive thru line was not too crowded with just maybe 10 cars in line. When I placed my order I was told they were out of cones so we got a dish of ice cream. When it was our turn at the pickup window, they hand me a dish of ice cream but no spoon. The employee outside at the window asked the employees inside for a spoon 3 times. She finally said 'Are we really holding for a spoon"? I said 'Yes we are' and laughed. Finally about 2 minutes later the employee inside handed the employee outside a spoon and said 'Sorry, we spilled water and had to clean it up". The spilled water could've waited five seconds for them to grab a spoon and hand it to the employee outside. To hold up a line for a spoon is ridiculous. read more
