The wait at this McDonalds is absolutely ridiculous. Drive-thru wrapped around the building. The inside line had 12 people in it. We came inside for nuggets and fries. The line is now gone but after 15 minutes we finally get out food

This McDonald's gave me some nasty old fries in the drive-thru.The lady had an attitude

They actually mixed my McFlurry. Ice cream machine actually works most of the time. Otherwise a very decent McDonald's.

Although it was early, this place filled up quickly. I loved the assortment of items provided on the menu. I went with my sweet tooth and ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes; which were decadent and rich in taste. Hubby ordered the breakfast croissant which was tasty (7/10). The potato mix was savory yet small in size; I couldn't help taking a couple of his bites! :3 Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 (just because there is no waiting area of any sort & the place is SMALL.)

The restaurant isn't that big its holds I believe 70 ppl. So not a large establishment. I started my breakfast with a chai latte and then I ordered the French toast. I believe it was a combo. Which it came with three slices of French toast two eggs and I did the two bacon and one sausage. Overall, the breakfast was really good. I feel my breakfast was pretty simple so it's really not much I can go off the sausage. It's really good. But my chai latte was amazing. I ordered that with extra caramel and it was a solid five out of five it was made to perfection. Now the ambience of the inside was nice and clean and photo ready. Our waitress was pretty nice. Will I return? Yes, I will.

I also did not know that they would have people come in to speak on the issue and I found it insightful. For those interested, I believe they will have these talks every 4th Friday of every month :) Aside from that, the baristas were very nice! The seating inside is super cozy and comfy and I also liked that there's a lot of outlets where I could plug my devices in. For my drink I ordered an iced Sweet Toff. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I liked how the toffee flavor wasn't too overpowering of the coffee flavor

It's undoubtedly casual with a hipstery feel that is reminiscent of something that would be in Austin or Portland. The name is also appropo since I can never get out of here without ordering at least two cups of something. The interior is nice with a bit of a warehouse vibe but lots of natural lighting and a good amount of seating from sofas to communal tables and even covered outdoor seating. Parking isn't a problem and there's It's usually nice and quiet, which makes it a really ideal place to hit the ground running with some laptop action. The fairly fast WiFi is an added plus. Another thumbs up is their affordable prices which are around $5 or less. In the inflated world of coffee and foodflation, this is always a thumbs up. Ironically I end up ordering their most expensive drinks, which are mainly their house favorites ($5.50). The secret squirrel, mochanut, sweet toff, and white mocha, which are all a solid option. Their matcha latte ($5) and lemonade ($3) are refreshing and easy to order on any of our warmest days. Service has also been among their strong suits. They've been efficient with orders, good to point people out to where bathrooms, WiFi passwords, and focusing on their mission of ending human trafficking. They have noted themselves as Houston's first non-profit coffee shop that is dedicated to ending human trafficking. Well then. In that case, I'll have another cup.

Jam Session is sold out every other time I'm here, which is understandable as it's the most delicious beer I've ever had (sweet though so heads up if you're not into that, although you're missing out). Today, I had the Butter Beer. Yes, Butter Beer. It tastes like beer with butterscotch, and it's exactly what I imagine the stuff at Hogwarts tastes like. Dalton recommended it with salt, and I gave him a look but tried it both ways - turns out he was correct. Do try it with salt. Speaking of salt, don't sleep on the food either. Their mac and cheese is delicious, and I haven't tried other stuff but the chicken looks crispy and yum, too. The open air design makes it hot at first, but after the sun down and the moonrise, the breeze comes through - and that's what a balmy summer night's about, right? So, there is a parking lot right off the service road of the highway. Then you walk down the road a little ways to a chain length fenced in area that has weeds and grass knee high. My 1st thought was "what in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre trailer park trash shit is this place?". I like adventures so I went in anyway and I am glad I did! City Acre had about 15 different beers on tap and I got my usual flight. I got a west coast IPA. a strawberry chocolate sour, a Belgian, and a porter. Flannel weather was the porter, and it tasted like a thin mint Girl Scout Cookie. Delicious. Everything was great. The strawberry chocolate sour was a tasty treat and I usually hate sours. The beertender was super friendly and she gave great suggestions. They have a kitchen onsite that looked good, but I had already eaten. Maybe next time. My bad on prejudging but cut the damn grass
