Subway online was easy to place a last minute order. My mistake was double check which location you are picking up your lunch from. The Subway lunch box was perfect. It included a 6" sandwich with a choice of chips & cookie. It tells you what is included and has special instructions. I omitted the lettuce & tomatoes and added black olives and red onions with Provolone cheese to a Tuna 6" sub. It came packaged in a box with utensils, mustard, mayonnaise, cookie & chips. So convenient and yummy. The price was right too. With tax it was around $11. Easy last minute ordering and easy pick up. The online ordering is done through ezCaterer which confirms your order and pick up time you request it for. Make sure the location you choose to pick up is correct. They have seating next to large open windows and the birds fly in trying to get your food which is kinda a problem. I wouldn't recommend coming with a stroller. The seating area is kinda small. I arrived at JoJa's spot at the Waikiki Beach walk on Monday, June 22nd @2:00pm. Although they don't start serving until 4:00pm. I was the first in line!! My son who was shopping nearby joined me at 2:30pm. We would take turns standing in line. On this particular day they opened up at 3:30pm. We placed our orders and because I asked for easy truffle sauce, I would have to wait a bit longer. Which was fine because those burgers looked very delicious cooking on the grill. Although it gets very busy the staff were very nice. Once we got our order we found a bench to sit at & enjoy our burgers and fries. FYI don't forget to grab some groves that they offer. Since the food menu didn't clearly list the non-alcoholic beverages, my niece asked what options were available. Devon responded, "There's a menu right there." She then started listing some of the drinks, stopped halfway through her sentence, went to grab the drink menu, and handed it to my niece. We found the interaction a little dismissive, but we brushed it off and moved on. What bothered us was seeing her approach another table with a completely different attitude. She was noticeably more bubbly, enthusiastic, and outgoing when introducing herself to them. It was such a contrast that we couldn't help but notice and wonder why our table received a different level of hospitality. As for the food, unfortunately, half of our table didn't enjoy their meals, which added to the disappointment. The service toward the end was also frustrating. We understand restaurants get busy, and we're generally patient about that. However, once we were ready for boxes and the check, everything seemed to take much longer than necessary. After receiving our boxes, we waited at least 15 minutes just to get the check, followed by another 10 minutes to get my cards back after paying. Overall, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for.
