The food is so salty that you end up throwing it away. They also put on windows the sodas and drip coffee are free for Veterans starting September 1st 2024. Went through the drive thru and they told me I had to purchase something in order to get it free I pointed it out that the sign says something completely different. The gal calls the manager to the window she explains the issue and he says the same thing as her and I point to the sign taped to the window. The manager takes it and reads it and says it is wrong. I tell him to keep the drinks. The manager starts walking off and says it isn't his problem. I thought managers where supposed to to fix problems not cause people like me a disabled veteran to want to leave these messages to tell people this McDonald's does not care. This was THE WORST McDonalds I have ever been too. First of all, we hardly eat fast food but Hines doesn't have anything quick to grab except McDonalds and Subway. We were in a time crunch and I needed protein so we decided to stop at McDonalds in Hines. Never again..... 1st- They didn't have any chicken wraps like other McDonalds have. 2nd- Their frappe shake maker was down so we couldn't order a Oreo frappe 3rd- We ordered 2 double cheeseburgers with no pickles and they gave us 2 regular hamburgers WITH pickles 4- our 10 piece chicken nuggets had 2 hairs cooked inside of them 5- when asked to get some ranch, they gave us 2 ranches with holes on the top of them. They gave us two more- again, with Ranch spewing out of the tops of them-they gave us two more and only one had a hole in it... 6- when we asked if they could get us the right order and bring us the two double cheeseburgers we bought- we got a really bad attitude from the manager, Laura....she asked us..."what is really wrong with your order.." we had to explain it to her 3 times AND showed her the receipt. She had THE WORST attitude, WORST customer service....we were not aggressive towards her yet she was very rude. She told us that they were very short staffed and gave us more excuses.....we didn't even wait for another Ranch that DIDNT have any holes, we just drove off. Had enough. Amazing place would 100% recommend. I live in Burns and I've only been to one other restaurant that is McDonald's in bend Oregon and it tastes amazing here in the bin. Went absolutely sucks and had barely any food there but the food at my McDonald's is amazing. There's always food and there's barely any place there in bend that has good food. But this one had really good food. Not a long wait time. The drive-thru was amazing. Everyone was amazing there. We all got the thing. I got the shamrock shake recently and it tastes amazing and I always order the same thing, a cheeseburger with onions and then fries. I love the fries. The fries are like the best thing ever. The two best things about this McDonalds are... 1) It is directly on a highway route that I traverse often. 2) They have a restroom. I will typically purchase either an order of french-fries or a hash-brown patty if I need to stop, but I don't ever need/want to stop for a full meal. So there you go... read more

This is the worst mcdonalds ever!!!! First the person taking my order said to me and my teammates that there was no sprite but finding out there was and being rude about me. Second i asked for a LARGE fry and they filled it half way. Also my friend order a mcflurry and it was also filled half way. also the bathroom had a huge gap in it and i saw someones CHEEKS!!!!! The food was fast and really fresh. To be honest, I was extremely surprised at how good the food was and it looked like an actual picture from the commercials. I also noticed the employees were very friendly. Not sure if all this had to do with the area manager being there... but it was really good food, even for McDonald's. The reason I gave it four stars was because of the white tr*sh everywhere and it hindered the experience from being fully enjoyable. The Hines McDonald's lobby & restrooms are clean. The service was quick, employees were kind & professional. My husband nearly always orders a special no mayo sub Mac sauce burger. This special order came exactly as expected. We all know this is not a Michelin Star restaurant. It's a McDonald's restaurant. This place is a joke!!! They can't get their orders right and they can't ever get the requested condiments right. Then no matter how small my order is the drive thru sends me to the parking lot to wait for my food (usually 1-2 items max). After paying, was asked to pull out of drive thru, and wait in designated area. 20 minutes later, no food. Three cars behind me, who were also waiting got their orders, so I went inside to get my money back, to have greasy-haired manager tell me they couldn't refund without my receipt, because they didn't know what I ordered. My husband and I arrived at this location at 10pm to grab a quick bite to eat after driving for quite a bit. The signage posted on their doors, as well as Google maps and Yelp, both state that this location is open till 11pm. Upon arrival, all three doors were locked. There were two women at the counter as we approached that hid in the back while we were knocking on the door. Additionally, another customer was screaming outside that they had not given him his order (which he paid for through their drive-thru) and closed for the night instead. Now, you don't expect a lot from McDonalds, but being open when they say they'll be open is the bare minimum! read more

These people Don't even deserve a single Star. Worst customer service that I have ever gotten at a McDonalds. We were traveling through town on our way to Las Vegas. It was only 10:55PM and they close at 11:00PM they turned off the lights just as we entered the drive-thru lane. They refused to serve us even though they had 5 minutes left before they were due to close.. My wife tried to ask them why they were closing early but he wouldn't even open the window to talk to her. We were very hungry just wanted a couple of burgers. If I owned that franchise the manager would find himself jobless by tomorrow morning. I sure hope that other establishments in that community treat travelers better than McDonalds does, travelers look at these reviews this McDonalds makes the whole community look bad. read more

My friends and family stopped at the Hines/Burns McDonald's recently. My young daughter left our iPod in the restroom, and the staff, particularly the manager Fay, was very helpful in getting our iPod back to us. Another staff member took our phone number, and Fay called me back with our lost iPod. She was very friendly and professional in advising me of their process to return lost items (send a prepaid package via UPS or FedEx), and she returned it to us very promptly in the package I sent her. We were very pleased with Fay's professionalism and happy to have our music back in our hands safely. You never know what to expect in a situation like that, but we were pleased with a "best case scenario" outcome. As far as the facility in Burns, I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I frequented a McDonald's before the day of our incident, but it seemed pretty nice! My kids got ice cream and smoothies, and those were what we expected. read more
