Espresso drinks were quick and delicious, burritos fresh and tasty, but what stood out was definitely the friendliness of the staff.

We were passing through town looking for a good lunch spot…read more After looking on Yelp, we found this place and hit the "directions" button. When we arrived there were no markings or signage on the exterior of the building, which made it a little hard to find or to be sure that we were in the right place. We decided to investigate anyway. Sure enough, it was there. The exterior and interior of the building were very well done. Inside was cute, clean, with a cozy atmosphere. Also, the temperature was perfect. We approached the counter where you order and briefly looked over the menus before settling on our order and putting our menus down. It was an uncomfortable 3 minutes before we were even acknowledged by the tatted gentleman behind the counter. Seemingly disinterested, he took our orders. We then found a nice table and sat down. After a reasonable amount of time our food was brought out. The Philly and chips (according to my companion) were great. The Mediterranean salad (according to my companion) was greatly overdressed, but other than that was crisp and fresh. My Korean wrap was good, however it was light on meat and packed full of rice, which I don't care for. Also rice was not mentioned in the ingredients list on the menu. If it were, I would have not ordered that item. In addition to that, the wrap was saturated with creamy siracha sauce. Which was a shame because other than that, the mentioned ingredients seemed to have good flavor potential. We ate our meals, and before leaving I stacked our plates and tiddied up our table. A female employee noticed this and made a kind remark, thanking me for doing this. It was a pleasant exchange and I was appreciative to have her positivity before we left. I wanted to love this place. and I think with a few tweaks, this place could really rock it.

Burns,OR May 2026…read more We came on a Wednesday night and there were only three other tables that were occupied. At 6:15 all the tables are filled. The restaurant is very clean. The floors, the food, the tables, the chairs. I am very impressed. My husband and I ordered a half chicken salad to share and we also split the chicken Alfredo. The Chicken salad was large. I found it hard to believe it was only a half portion. The salad came with a very large portion of shredded torn, hot chicken. The lettuce was Romaine and it had diced tomatoes with shredded cheese slices of cucumbers, large slices of red onion, and croutons. It was supposed to come with a sliced egg, but there was none on the salad. The chicken Alfredo was a very large portion. There was more chicken on the salad then in the chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce tasted smoky. I swear there was a half a pound of pasta in that dish. Like all the other portions of food it is very large. They serve fresh bread with butter to the table. The bread is delicious. The waiter said they make it here. We were offered dessert but we chose you to decline. They have a display case of three different kinds of pies, bars, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and more. My only complaint is that the booths are so far from the table. I had to eat at the end of my bench. But I love that the backs of the booths are so very tall. You can't see your neighbor behind you. I was finished eating and pushed my plate away. My husband was still eating his food. The waiter came up to see if we needed anything else. As we were talking to him, an older woman came by interrupted our conversation with the waiter and started to take all of our plates. My husband was not finished eating, but since she piled the plates on top of each other, we were now done. Perhaps in the future, she should ask if we are finished before removing them from the table. The staff is friendly. The food is ginormous and delicious. This is definitely a place if I were passing through I would stop and eat again. I give this restaurant 4.7 stars.

We walked into this busy establishment that i chose because they advertise gluten free sandwich…read moreoptions. Notably, there is no indication on the menu of what the added cost would be. I of course expected an added charge of $1.50 to $3 or so for a gf bread option, no problem! I genuinely thought there was an error when they charged me $22 for my $15 club sandwich with a side of ranch. When I inquired with the very sweet cashier about a possible error because I thought there was a mistake and was so confused, the clearly already agitated and distressed owner took over and angrily told me that was the cost. I quickly handed over my credit card and tried to explain that I was just confused and thought there was an error but she just ignored me and walked away... but then turned around to tell the whole place how much extra time and work it is to prep something for people with celiac/ who are gf and that it takes much longer. I quietly went to my table to wait for the sandwich with my friend and her children. Shortly thereafter, the owner all but threw me $22 cash and said she would not be making the sandwich and walked away, again not allowing for any conversation. Subsequently, my friend had to cancel her order and we left. Fortunately, we found another place that was very welcoming and a much better vibe all the way around with good food. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place unless you want to pay a lot of money for a GF sandwich along with the fear of illiciting the wrath or agitation of an owner who is clearly not nice when busy or stressed, especially if you unfortunately are burdened with something like celiac disease.
