Stopped at this location for an ice cream cone on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, I was stuck in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes without any movement, so I eventually left. I decided to give it another try today and went inside instead. While the service was quick this time, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the dining area. I ordered a Cheeseburger with extra ketchup, a McChicken, Large Fries, and a 6 Piece McNuggets. The line went fairly quick for what it was. It was a bit much for a fast burger joint. The Cheeseburger didn't have too much ketchup on it. There was a ticket on it that said I wanted extra ketchup, but unfortunately there wasn't much on it. The McChicken was good, but it had too much sauce on it for my liking. The Large Fries were cooked pretty well. They had just the right amount of salt. The McNuggets were good, just not as good as the price tag on them. The service was friendly and efficient. They seemed professional and polite. We are in line but the line is moving pretty fast. I haven't really ever had a problem with them making my order in the past. At least not at this location. Breakfast is usually kind of mechanical. Just something to get u by til you can get real food. The prices are consistently average. They do have a large selection of different things to eat which is a plus. Customer service is a little iffy, today wasn't the best. But sometimes they are sweet. It's really a toss up. And they left everything out of the bag today. Bummer. Honestly... Aside from long lines during breakfast, this place is pretty good. Food has always been hot and usually seemed like it was fresh off the line or outta the frier. Haven't had any messed up orders here. Maybe a couple confused ones. You know when you're in a double drive thru there's always the chance that you or the person in the other order lane gets ahead or behind you and orders get out of order. This Mickey Dee's confirms your order at both the payment and the food window to alleviate such mishaps during busy times. Inside is clean and if there's a super long wait at the drive thru, a trip inside us usually a lot quicker. Employees are courteous and friendly both inside and at the window. Getting a friendly "good morning" and "have a good day" is always a nice little feel good moment at any establishment. Alas... It's just a McDonald's though. Food is what it is, tastes how it tastes and when you order from this one, it's pretty much the same as any other McDonald's. read more

Almost every employee is rude (except the Hispanic women (who usually works morning's). Very long lines and the most expensive McDonald's in NW Indiana. Good luck getting what you ordered - and If you order something special like extra pickle or no onion, chances are it will be wrong or completely missing when you get home. An example, on my way to work, I order a steak bagel, I wanted no onion and no garlic sauce. Halfway to work, the sandwich is completely wrong. I called the manager she said bring the sandwich back. Like I am going to be late for work over a sandwich. I told her I could not and wanted a refund. She refused. To resolve this I called the HQ in Oakbrook, IL. Even they weren't sympathetic. This was one of the worst situations that has ever happened to me. I went there today to get a yogurt parfait and it wasnt filled to the top! Ever single time i have went to McDonald's my yogurt parfait has been filled to the top. I said I would like a happy meal cheeseburger w/extra pickles for a girl w/a large unsweet ice tea with that. I hear giggles in the back ground, The order taker said you want a hamburger,I said no cheeseburger w/extra pickles. Do you want apples or fries. I said fries. She said ok sweet tea with that,I said no I would like a large unsweet ice tea. The order taker you can't get a large tea with that. I said I have repeated my order 5 times are you high. She said step out of line we will no longer be serving you. I said I would like to talk to the manager and she said she is the manager and I am no longer welcome at that McDonald's and she will tell the police officer to escort me out if I don't leave. I said I will come around to talk to the police officer. So I did drive around and ask the police officer for the day time managers name. He came back with the name Amy Churilla and said the manager said I am no longer welcome at that McDonald's. So why am I no longer welcome at your McDonald's? The manager (order taker)was clearly not listening to my order I had to repeat a very simple order many times. It sounded like she was high and so I made that comment. I am not defending myself because I was justified in my comment. My experience tonight at this McDonald's was terrible. I ordered 2 jalapeño burgers 2 fries and a Big Mac, with no lettuce, only cheese and Mac Sauce. I got my first order and it was dry, just a bun, half melted cheese nothing else. I went back through the drive thru to correct my order, and was met with not only my second order to have a drop of Mac sauce AND lettuce.. The drive thru attendant completely disregarded my order, was very rude, and when I requested it done over a third time she scoffed, snatched the sandwich and as the window closed the other worker "Caroline?" said something very nasty, acting as if it was my fault they misread my ticket a third time. The last burger I received was nothing more than the second burger with the lettuce half scraped off.. I finally asked to speak with management and she rolled her eyes and walked off.
