I arrived only to find one lone employee. I placed an order for the webpage to be told what I ordered was not served anymore an he pointed to a small chalkboard with spot 5 items on it. He didn't seem interested that the menu on the website needed to be changed, but pointed to the menu, stepped away from the register...and sat down. And I traveled all that way to find the spot. So I ordered a panini (salami, mozzarella, and roasted red pepper). It was not made with care...and tasted that way. I didn't finish it - it wasn't good. Never eating there again.

I walked in and I was surprised, I didn't have that old smell of walking into an antique store or used clothing store where everything had the old musty scent. This eatery is inside of an antique mall, and they have all kinds of snacks and food to eat, as well as some alcoholic beverages which you can drink while walking around looking at everything. We were greeted nicely walking up to the counter, and the person working even gave us a few suggestions which was nice! I ended up having a white claw. They have bloody Mary's and specialty beer there as well. There's even a tap!

I love a good small town diner, and I thought Kennedy Cafe & House of Pancakes was great. I saw Kyle V's review and figured it was a good bet as I trust him! The parking lot is a little small but we found space and were welcomed in right away. The menu is massive with tons of options and customizations etc. so it was a little overwhelming, but I went with the melted pot skillet (ham, bacon, sausage, onions, American fries, cheese, and three eggs, served with toast). Nate got an omelette with cottage fries (fried sliced potato rounds) and silver dollar pancakes. The food came out super quickly and the portions were massive. We definitely could have shared one item, but I was pretty hungry. The skillet was very savory and cheesy, and the eggs were perfectly over-medium. I had a bit of Nate's pancakes, and they were fluffy and light. Four meals + tip was around $70 which I thought was very good especially given how much food we got. The menu also includes lots of lunch options, and check the specials board in front for features. Thanks, Kyle V!

The food was exactly what you'd expect from a diner like this. Nothing out of the ordinary and special but exactly what you need before starting your day. The atmosphere looks like it hasn't changed in 100 years which is probably true. It was still clean though and the prices were average diner prices. We'd stop by again if we were in the area.
