It is more of a Tim Hortons express with more limited selection rather than a full size location you'd find in Canada or certain spots within the US. It's part of a gas station complex attached to a convenience store. The interiors are bright and well maintained, with plenty of seating and American theming (the bags give a nod to it as a Canadian chain with a maple leaf). Nostalgia usually brings me back to Tim Hortons, and I probably hadn't been to one in about 10 years. The mocha latte drink I ordered was merely average in taste, and had a few more hints of bitterness than I usually like in my caffeinated beverages. The Timbits (donut holes) were slightly more sugary than I remember (or maybe it's just me getting older), but the cinnamon and chocolate glazed ones I tried were otherwise decent. Service was a bit slow, but the employee that helped me was otherwise friendly and provided service with a smile. Overall, this Tim Hortons location is good for a quick pit stop off the highway, but otherwise average for its donut and drink offerings.

Since it was breakfast time, we went with a bagel (with cream cheese) and egg & cheese sandwich for food, and a mocha and cappuccino for drinks. All were of decent quality, so I'd rate them an overall 4.5 out of 5, and am happy to round up due to the nice interiors, friendly service, and cool, local vibes. The egg & cheese sandwich was prepared with a tasty bread that they said was made in-house. I am extremely happy that I was able to find this Jenn. The service was absolutely amazing and the entire vibe of the spot was great. I love the fact that it was in a old firehouse. The savory crepes are awesome, standing head and shoulders above the other crepes I've had in the area. As far as I know the rest of the menu is similarly great (according to my sweetie), but I always get crepes. I prefer the salmon crepe to the egg and bacon crepe, but that might just be me. You just walk in and order at the counter, and then grab a table in one of the rooms in what appears to be an old farmhouse. The deck looks great, but I've yet to get there on a day where it works for me. The tables are all different, old wood, in comfy rooms with large windows and simple decoration. This isn't fine dining, but it's not expensive, either. Service is pretty quick, although not instant. And the staff is pretty cheerful and friendly. On your way out, buy a pastry from the case -- they are awesome. I'm not sure whether they're made on site or at their companion store in NYC, but they rock.
