I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!

We started with the Chicken Marsala Stuffed Mushrooms, which were packed with rich, savory flavor. I ordered the 'Shroomy Grilled Cheese, and it was next-level comfort food; gooey, earthy, and perfectly balanced. My husband and aunt both had the New School Smash Burger, and they couldn't stop raving about it. Every dish was bursting with flavor and truly "to die for." Our server, David, made the night even better. He was attentive, upbeat, and genuinely kind; an overall great spirit with a fantastic attitude who elevated the entire dining experience. David even brought us some of their popcorn, which was so delicious and such a fun extra touch. We loved the food, we loved the service, and we will definitely be back; highly recommend.

We ordered EVERYTHING, Literally... Hubby wanted steak, son wanted wings, pizza, other things and I had on my Fat girl eyes and just wanted all the things. I was torn on the wing flavor and the waitress (who was a F***ing riot by the way, I Love her)! suggested the maple, I didnt Love love them, but they were good. The pizza was ok, could have been cooked like a moment more. The Shroomy grilled cheese for me was the best thing on the menu. Hubby said the steak was just meh, but he is fancy, we take his reviews with a grain of salt, LOL... The decor and vibe of the place was great! Its big, misleading from the street, but there are rooms, and hallways, and more rooms! Super cute, but it does get busy, Make a reservation. Get the Brie Crostini, I remember that being great, and now Im drooling!

Vibe changed. GOOD FOR THEM! but not ideal for me lol Buuuuut they'd get five stars for the food alone. I LOVED my burger so much. Best burger I have had in a while - Alabama Slamma. Flame grilled?!? Flavorful. So good, and I don't know why but I got a side salad instead of fries and that dressing was so good too! Was highly delighted with the salad. Service was great - I really appreciated that when our beers came in plastic cups our waitress immediately told us "sorry about the cups, everything else was hot from the washer" like yes please, make a decision for better quality AND give us a heads up? But man. I'm thinking of that burger again today. Oh my friend got a chicken Caesar salad and the bowl sucked lol. It was top heavy and difficult to cut without knocking it over. Burger, still fire.

But the restaurant itself was spacious and decorated nicely. We were sat in a dining area off to the front that did get a little noisy. Our waitress was friendly but not overly personable. However, she did get the job done. Another waiter brought over an extra chair that the party in the table in front of us didn't need so he left it right in front of my party so we couldn't get out. A little weird but not the end of the world. For dinner we started with the fried pickles. They were nice and crispy and portion was pretty generous for $10. We could have used more of the sauce though. My main meal was the chicken parm sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich I felt was a little small for the price tag. Chicken was cut into strips with some funky pieces and not overly crispy. Tater tots were an extra $2 but the container they came in wasn't an impressive size either. So, why three stars? The Trap isn't a bad restaurant but I felt that the price didn't justify average food. I think I'd come back again to try something else in the future though.

I got the flash dance drink (coffee and vodka). We also got the the fried mozzarella- it looked really good but it wasn't flavorful at all. When we bit into it, it squirted out with water and got everywhere. The marinara sauce didn't help the flavor either. We also got the crispy Brussels which were really good! The place was busy and was setting up for live music. We were seated very quickly. Would come back but wouldn't recommend the mozzarella bites to anyone ever.

Friday Night.... I have to say it's a local watering hole but, it's quaint and comfortably laid out! The menu is Strong with a wonderful variety of dynamic offerings. I have to admit the Bean and Sausage and soup was spectacular( definitely a Fall/ Winter winner) the Drink: high end Single Malt Scotch was substantial pour( to say the least) and the Side Caesar salad was exceptional and ample size for what accompanied the dinner. That, was their 10 ounce tenderloin, perfect medium rare with a cognac cream sauce. Sides were, exceptional Rich mashed potatoes and the best way I've ever had brussels sprouts, which were mandolin sliced. That's my Review and Dana was an extremely pleasant and attentive to not only us but, to the all her other tables. KelCar = Former GottaQue…read more Sidenote: I did not like GottaQue (we ordered once during Covid to support businesses in our own community and they messed up the whole order, it took way longer than we were told and we paid a decent amount of money for a bad meal.) But we are back! We have a coupon for the RI Food Fight- Wings competition. We enter the small store front. Seating for about 7 with a bench for waiting. This place is really supporting take-out. This one a one Pitmaster Mike show. He was very nice and informative. He informed us that the wings are naked so he sent us home with 4 different types of sauces. Not just a little to go sauce container, like a small size deli container he filled half way worth of sauce! Although I was not a fan of any of the sauces really. The wings were cooked to perfection (smoked just right my husband declared) and the coupon was for 6 wings- Mike went above and beyond! I like my wings to have a little salt or an awesome sauce- that's where these wings fell a little flat for me. They were good but not my jam. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese. It was $7.99 and it was a very small serving- that small deli container. It was congealed. Maybe a liquid cheese and shredded cheese that didn't fully melt? I am not quite sure what's happening here but i did not like it. I have to say Mike was nice, it didn't take long for the order but there was a whole lot of sold out food (cole slaw, cornbread, brisket, etc...) and the kitchen seamed unorganized and maybe a little sleazy? I don't want to call it dirty but I wasn't impressed with how it looked.

When I presented my @rifoodfights coupon he took the time to explain that, for the competition, he serves up the wings naked, with the sauces on the side, so you can try them all. He also is very proud of the plain wings, and he should be. They are delicious plain. Smoked and then deep fried to 18o degrees, they have a smoky flavor and a nice crisp skin. They are contenders in this competition without the sauce. The sauces the gave out were a buffacue, tiger sauce, house bbq and a mustard based sauce. All were fantastic but the tiger sauce was my favorite. It was horseradish based - the same sauce the put on their roast beef sandwich- and was a standout. When most hot sauce is pepper based, the horseradish was such a surprise in flavor. Do your self a favor and go and see Mike. You won't be disappointed. (He gave me a sample of the roast beef and it was perfectly seasoned. I will be back to try the sandwich!)
