We placed our order at a counter, paid upfront, and then were given our drink and a number to take to a table of our choosing. The weather on that day was very rainy, so we sat inside the greenhouse rather than outside, and the employees carried our foods over in containers with lids. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Peach Berry Stuffed French Toast - 4.5 stars - This was a weekend special. Challah French toast was stuffed with lemon mascarpone, peaches, and mixed-berry compote. It had a large serving size and a nice mixture of sweet and sour flavors. Bloom Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad contained mixed greens, sliced apple, dried cherries, candied pecans, gorgonzola, red onion, and maple balsamic dressing. Blue cheese is not my favorite, but I enjoyed the freshness and flavors of the other ingredients. Breakfast Egg Sandwich Croissant - 4.5 stars - This sandwich consisted of a croissant filled with two eggs, cheese, and three strips of crispy bacon. On the side was a basic salad with dressing. My husband did not like how the salad dressing got on his sandwich. Chai Latte - 4.5 stars - This Rishi Masala chai concentrate with steamed milk tasted very good. The total price for these three foods and one drink was $49 plus a tip. Afterward, we explored the market and gardening center. Available for purchase were jewelry, flower pots, many types of indoor and outdoor plants, and much more. Two employees kindly offered me assistance with the plants. I loved seeing the exterior of a hobbit house, although it was too short for me to go inside. Please note that this business will hold a Tolkien-inspired Hobbit Fest on September 12, 2026. The festival will include live folk music, local artisan vendors, themed cafe foods, alcohol vendors, activities such as a costume contest, etcetera.

A few chairs outside facing the parking lot. They have a drive thru! Convive hasn't had a lot of eating options beyond some baked items and a basic breakfast wrap, etc. I'd have gotten more stuff to eat if they had it. They have had a loyalty program that I've always really liked, which most accurately replicated the old punch cards. Recently I got a notification from Cash App which they use for their loyalty that my points are about to expire in a week. It's hard to understand: the oldest points I had were from April and I'd been to it 6 times after that. I might just go less if I'm not able to keep my points :-( Oh, air conditioning gets cold in there... bring a layer!

That being said, while this location is less than a mile from my house, I would much rather drive a few miles to the Hampton location. The employees at this location are absolutely miserable. They don't smile or greet you, and the inside service is very slow. They seem to prioritize the drive thru orders over in store customers. The past few times I've been there, they had 4-5 people working but only one person was making drinks. The poor girl was making drinks for mobile orders, drive thru, and in store orders while one worked the drive thru cash register and the others just stood around. My main drawback about this location is the overall attitude of the employees. I advise you to drive a little further to the Hampton location where you will be greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. Also if you are adamant about going to this location, I'd advise placing a mobile order through the app ahead of time to ensure quicker service.

I did get lavender as a flavor shot because some shops are either a hit or a miss with lavender (or any flavor where you can't taste it). I could definitely taste the lavender in here and it was really refreshing. To the gluten free community, this muffin was so good. I wish I remembered the name of who made it but it wasn't too sweet for being a muffin and was really good especially warmed. I felt like I was enjoying a balance of both sweet and refreshing than an overkill. I am also one of those people that would put chocolate with my matcha and possibly lavender as it combines really well. I definitely want to come back and try their coffee drinks as I'm curious about it. Since we were in the Mars area, we decided to head over to the Mars Brew House. This shop is located in downtown Mars on Pittsburgh Street. It is located in what looks to be an old large house and I think that you were able to go in at one point in time but only the window was open on this morning. The gentleman that was working the window as super nice and introduced his dogs to both of my kids. After looking around for the menu, he had to take a picture of it with my phone so that I could see it. After looking at it l ultimately decided on a large latte and after being asked about a flavor chose toasted marshmallow while my wife also chose a latte and went with hazelnut for her flavoring. It wasn't long before we had our coffees and headed to our car. My coffee here ended up being alright. The flavor of marshmallow was good but I found the coffee itself to be mostly lost behind it and the milk. So it wasn't bad but I just wish that I had more flavor coming through on what should have been the star. My wife did at least enjoy her hazelnut coffee. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. While my wife enjoyed her latte, I definitely could have used more coffee flavor in mine.

Every weekend we try to hit up a new local coffee shop, and on this morning we happened to be fishing at Glade Run when I found Freya Jane's nearby. This bakery is located in what appears to be a small development of townhomes with a handful of storefronts. The inside has a large ordering area with plenty of baked goods displayed behind glass, along with an equally spacious seating area. They also had a number of card games available, and my wife and I enjoyed playing one with our 4.5-year-old twins. On this morning I decided to go with an iced brown sugar cinnamon latte while my wife chose an iced pistachio latte. My daughter picked out a sprinkle sugar cookie, my son chose a blueberry Pop-Tart, and my wife and I split a crème brûlée-filled croissant. I'll start with the baked goods, which were excellent. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and you could clearly see the lamination throughout it. The filling reminded me of a cream puff with its rich, creamy texture and flavor. To complete the crème brûlée theme, it had large pieces of caramelized sugar on top that added a satisfying crunch and really made the pastry live up to its name. My son's blueberry Pop-Tart also had a great flavor with plenty of blueberry filling inside, and my daughter loved her sprinkle sugar cookie. As far as the baked goods were concerned, they were easily five stars. The coffee was good, although it didn't quite reach the same level as the pastries. My latte had a nice balance between the brown sugar and cinnamon syrup and the espresso. Thankfully the coffee wasn't overpowered by the flavoring, and while it was certainly enjoyable, it wasn't quite as memorable as the baked goods. My wife also enjoyed her latte, especially the pistachio flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My family loved the baked goods, and we all thought the coffee was good as well.
