From the time I ordered my food through the drive-thru and the time I received it was 17 minutes. The ony option to order was at the kiosk as they had the counter registers closed, so I never saw a worker. The sanitzer by the kiosk had a ton of MOLD growing all over it. I swear, nothing this location makes, and I mean NOTHING, is correct the first time. Seriously, how hard is it to include a full extra piece of cheese on a fish filet if I'm being charged for a full extra piece. Extra cheese should be one and a half pieces total with the half it comes with by default, not just one piece total. Service at this location is extremely rude too. A couple weeks ago my mobile order wasn't showing up in their system, even though I showed them the address was correct and the order was submitted. The employee accused me of trying to get free food and literally yelled at me when I told her it wasn't free if I was charged for it. If there was any other fast food option around Mequon and Pilgrim in Germantown I would never visit this location again. Routinely slow service. I work close to this location and [sadly] when it comes to lunch Mequon Rd is considered to be our go-to McDonald's for me and my coworkers. I know, I know they're all pretty bad, but come on... It's not just the slow service, it's also the wrong order, and the bad attitude that follows when these mistakes are pointed out. One of my coworkers wasted 30 minutes trying to order a chicken tender meal this afternoon. Would get 0 stars if possible. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It's a stain on the brand and corporation. I honestly can not believe it. If you are reading this avoid at all costs. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!! Hands down the worst store ever! When you are greeted they say "what you want" followed by "I can't hear you what you want" no polite greeting to start your day off. Just a rude clerk attitude with no hint of being polite. After ordering and repeating my order multiple times to only receive an attitude from the cashier..... she then proceeded to not value my time and not value me as a customer. In turn I forgot my wallet at home. It happens. It's life.... however when it boils down to it a smile can go a long way. Nope didn't even hear a smile instead she is in there trying to cover her butt for her mistake of DROPPING MY BRAND NEW IPHONE ON THE CONCRETE.... now I am out a phone and I have to somehow move on with my life? It's another to blatantly go out of your way to make everyone else's life a disappointment and cause everyone to not go to this store ever again. A little update.... 2 weeks have passed... the owner still won't replace the phone. Instead he insists on "fixing" a phone with non Apple approved parts that voids the warranty... this place continues to impress me day after day. At this point take it from the cashiers paycheck and BUY ME A NEW PHONE!! Stopped by this location to get my mom a Filet O Fish yesterday. Placed my extremely simple order for this one sandwich after hearing "what can I get you" at the speaker. I heard nothing after this. I sat at waited for the normal repeating the order; "thank you for your order pull around"; or even a simple "dat it?" Nothing. Line behind me is growing due to it being the lunch hour. I ask if I'm good to pull up. No response. A good three minutes pass by so I pull to the next window. At the next window, very nice older gentleman in his 60s is working the window. He repeats the order but it isn't what I ordered. He apologizes and says he will put my order in. A younger very rude woman snaps at him and asks what he is doing and he explains. This woman goes off VERY LOUDLY " Why can't these people have some patience?" And continues to complain bitterly, while being rude to this man. While this is going on, this kind older man calmly and kindly finishes up with my transaction, ignores this woman's rants, and is a pleasure to talk to. I feel like finding this man a new job - he is obviously way too good to work at this location. I have great patience- especially with service workers during this time - but perhaps some of your workers need to learn the fine art of communication, customer service, and how to treat co-workers with respect. read more

Totally has gone downhill. Today, I waited almost 30 minutes in line. There is a double entrance. I was SKIPPED 3 times, meaning 6 cars went out of line in front of me. When I got to the food, my order was WRONG. Then, I was handed a dripping cup of coffee that leaked all over my car. This used to be a good McDonalds, efficient and friendly. Now it sucks. Stopped in for breakfast today and went through the drive thru. There was a person in front of me and they waited a good five minutes and drove off to park as no one must have been there to take her order. I pull up but didn't wait 5 minutes. As I'm pulling around there is NO ONE in the drive thru. I just left so I wouldn't be late for work. This place has routinely bad service, bad attitudes and the food is thrown together. Not that I'm looking for 5 star dining at McD's but I expect my burger to be on the sandwich when I open the bag. McDonald's in Germantown off Mequon:::: I've been to this location several times in the AM and the staff are kind, well mannered and have great customer service. Today was my first visit after 4 and it was terrible. The girl taking payment didn't say one word to me, payed more attention to her coworkers flirting and rubbing up against him inappropriately. (R rated) no Receipt, or amount total was said she didn't even look my way. When I drove up to the next window to get my food not one word was said again they just handed me the bag. I believe this is the first 1 star I have written about. You would think McDonald's would be consistent as that is what they are built off of, but this McDonald's is the worst I have ever been too. Time and time again, it continues to get worse. It needs a remodel and the employees are consistently smoking outside where the customers walk into the establishment. Tonight I took my 5 year old there to celebrate her good report card. They didn't have the chicken nuggets ready and made us wait over 10 minutes! Then they forgot my order of fries, which I drove off without after another 5 minutes. Then when I got home, the fries in the happy meal were half cooked and cold! I have had numerous bad experiences at this location. One time it seemed the employees just decided to close early. Another time, drive thru speaker was defective and everyone had to pull up to the window to place the order and wait, which caused a huge backup and unreasonable wait times for everyone. Another time, my coupon wouldn't validate by the system and I wasn't allowed to use it. Twice when I got a filet of fish, the 1/2 slice of cheese was stuck to the inside of the box along with the majority of tartar sauce (somehow they couldn't get it between the bun and fish???) They failed to give me a receipt twice. The final one was when I was missing a 20 piece nugget and I had to stand outside the pick up window explaining the problem, waiting for them to get the nuggets ready, while other cars kept moving though the drive thru window. They said they could not bring them out to me. They said there would be a wait so I asked for new fries as they would be cold by the time I brought my son's meal to him. I was told I should "just eat the fries I have while they are still warm". I was giving them the benefit of doubt for a while with the whole pandemic and now labor shortage, but enough is enough. Consistently horrible service at drive thru. Employees rudely greet you when you place your order, then when you arrive at the payment window, often have no idea which order is yours. Several times I've been waiting to pull ahead and just need them to hand me back my credit card, but they'll be standing there blabbering to someone while holding my credit card in their hand. And if you order a cup of ice cream, you might get a full cup, you might get two tablespoons, or anywhere in between. Sometimes they'll give you napkins and spoons, sometimes they won't. I see someone's iPhone sitting out. Lady flags me to pull forward to second window. Lady had earbuds in takes her sweet time and doesn't care at all. Since 2012 I have been asking for a changing station in the men's restroom. My first son was born that year and now it's 2018 and I have a 2nd baby and still no changing station in the men's room. I regularly take my kids to McDonalds and play and buy food. We occasionally stop back and check to see if they've decided to recognize that fathers also take care of their kids. There is a sign on the women's restroom showing Koala changing station. We go to the one on County Line Rd since they at least have a family restroom to change diapers. Until then Mequon Rd McDonald's gets a 1 Star. They also routinely forget items on my order and when I bring it to their attention they seem to not care as they reluctantly fulfill my request. read more
