I stopped here during a road trip, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable McDonald's visits my family has ever had. The staff at the Fort Bragg location were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond, taking time to answer all of my sister's questions about the different sauces with genuine care and knowledge. You could tell they actually took pride in their work. My sister and mom wanted to customize their Filet-O-Fish combos by adding lettuce and tomato, and the team handled it perfectly--no confusion, just great service and attention to detail. Everything we ordered came out fresh and exactly how we requested: large fries (unsalted), drinks, and I had a mini Oreo McFlurry that hit the spot. Even through the drive-thru, the experience felt personal and thoughtful. We had been on the road for a while, and this stop was exactly what we needed--fast, delicious food and a team that truly made us feel welcomed. The staff watched me wait at the register for a couple minutes before letting me know I couldn't order in person without using the kiosk. The kiosk was full of options, but not the least bit user friendly. With CA minimum wage raised, I can see them maybe needing to use the kiosk. But with all the new "efficiency" oriented changes, I found every table dirty. The staff kindly cleaned the tables near me and the food was consistent, so they get two stars instead of zero. read more

Not only are they terribly slow, they have horrible customer service and are extremely rude. I found black hair in my nuggets. They had a major attitude about it, but replaced them. Fine. I wanted a fresh BBQ packet that didn't have hairy nuggets dipped in it. You would have thought I asked for a million dollars. They fought with me, made fun of me, and refused to give me any info. As you can see it has the same look that the franchise is famous for . The bun seemed a tad crunchier, possibly that's a new thing, it's been a minute since we'd been there. The vegetables were crisp and there was a heaping amount of mayonnaise, and the customary pickle. The 'meat' itself was interesting. The difference in consistency was noticeable as was the flavor, not bad, just not burger. This place is laughably bad. Moving past the fact they haven't served indoors in years, place always dirty AF... let's talk about last week. I ordered some breakfast. After a bit clerk lady came out and asked if I was waiting for something. Said they had no orders. I said I did have an order, but the receipt printed blank (no ink). To prove I had made an order I'd need to drive off site to get cell service, and take a screenshot of my debit card transaction. She walked away. I asked "why are you walking away". Then the grumpy morning shift a manger came out of kitchen and asked what my problem was. I said no problem, I ordered food and I'd like to have it. She said why are you upset? I said I'm not upset but you are being weird. Not sure why you are talking to me when you could be making food. She said no your upset. I'll give you your money back. I ordered two hot fudged sundaes for my sister and I after a fun day. I ordered through door dash. We had extra hot fudge and Oreo chips. We received one hot fudged Sunday and one cup of plain ice cream on a pack with a clearly marked receipt showing the two sundaes Happily, Door Dash refunded the nearly $5. We visit Ft Bragg every year in the summer. Each visit we are there two weeks. Every single time we go to McDonalds,(drive thru) they are so rude. First of all it's always a manager that is handing our food to us. She makes no eye contact at all. She doesn't even speak to us. Just holds the bag out. The food is never fresh, and looks like a toddler threw it together. I was a manager at McDonalds for 6 years, and I would never be rude to a customer or let dried out, sloppy food handed out. This McDonald is one of a kind where they claim that they make their burritos early in the morning ahead of time and if u ask for one without sausage the young inexperienced manager says they can't do that because it's made early in the morning and it's a premix. Every other McDonald we been to accommodated no sausage except this one because they don't have the decency to make them fresh or use the eggs to make one. The "artisan" sandwich was thrown between 2 hard buns, old wilted lettuce with black spots on it and a yellow nasty tasting tomato with NO SAUCE ANYWHERE on the sandwich. The chicken was beyond dry, cold and SUPER leathery and the fries were cold and only eatable in the middle. They were so hard on the outside it hurt the roof of my mouth when I attempted to eat an entire fry. I should have know it was going to be a bad experience when I drove in and the entire place was pitch black except the menu. Service was efficient, if aloof, but again IT'S MCDONALD'S....you pretty much know what you're getting. It's not the greatest location, not the worst, but be a bit cautious-there were a few sketchy characters hanging outside the side door. I came here yesterday for a small meal after a long trip geocaching with my friend. The staff were off in their own little world telling stories over by the drive through window. The electronic ordering system is intimidating trying to figure it out. Anyway, we stood there waiting for about 5 minutes for someone to finally come and help us out. My order came out wrong and when I went to go to the soda machine, there were ants crawling everywhere. So, I went back and waited another three minutes watching them all chit chat about whatever so I can try and tell the guy there were ants everywhere. The guy came and looked and said he'd come back and wipe it up. He did, but he did not offer to give me a new cup of soda from the drive through soda machine. I cam back to the soda machine to get soda and ants were EVERYWHERE all over the machine and I just can't grasp why the man wouldn't put an out of order sign up.
