We were walking around downtown and were looking for a hot beverage to enjoy in this cold weather. We stumbled upon Mendolasa. The cash register is located in the front. There was a small line and we looked at the menu in the meantime. Right away we noticed that none of the menus had any prices. We decided to go ahead and go with a matcha ginger latte. We sat at a table and waited and soon noticed that folks who had ordered drinks after us, received their's. We checked in and they said it was coming right up. We finally got our drink and it was grainy, very sweet milk. We were excited for a warm spiced drink and this was the exact opposite. We said it was too sweet and she said that's just the powder. I REALLY wanted to like this place. The store is cool, the food and drinks all look good, and the staff are all nice. But, everything else was kinda bad. The menu was confusing, many things were on the menu even if they "weren't available yet", the drink menu was a jumble and made it hard to distinguish what drink was what, and there were no prices. W ended up ordering 3 milk tea bobas and a brownie. The milk teas were mostly milk. They were colored like Thai tea and brown sugar milk tea, but they mostly tasted like milk. Like little to no flavor. The brownie had probably sat in the window all day as it was mostly dried out. But the boba in the teas and perfect, so an extra star for that. I hope this was just an off day because it seems like they could be a good spot. read more

I am so glad I'm finally getting the chance to right this review- I came in last Wednesday and had a really great experience. The lady's working are SO nice and have great customer service. I got a honey dew milk tea with strawberry popping boba and my fiancé got a strawberry banana smoothly with boba. Charming little stop in the heart of Fort Bragg. One of the gals working offered us a couple free slices of day old pie, she had explained they had a lot left over still and it going to go out and give out pastries and cookies to the homeless. I think that is so awesome! The slices we got were cherry pies and they we absolutely delicious, the crust was flakey, fruit was just the right amount of sweet and tart at the same time. The inside seating area was really nice. The stores really clean and they had walls of magnets which I think was so cute. This is only my second time stopping here and the first time was actually during Covid when their inside area was closed off and they were only using the front serving window. But they were so nice the first time I came in I knew I had to come back, and I am SO glad I did. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you like boba! :) read more

Stopped by here with my partner for a nice drink. Asked the owner for a recommendation and she suggested strawberry and lychee. My partner got honeydew and we both had regular boba and lychee jelly inside. The honeydew was very refreshing and the strawberry lychee was so sweet and delicious. This stuff was so gross. I went to this cafe with my friends and we got the Thai tea and the frosted matcha. My Thai tea tasted like straight milk. I wouldn't be surprised if it was orange food coloring. I needed four sweeteners just to make it sugar milk. The matcha was also very subpar. The boba was definitely the kind that was frozen beforehand and made the texture very unpleasant. Don't come here unless you want to drink 7$ milk. read more

We were standing at the order window for over ten minutes. The girl before us had been standing there for even longer. The boba was okay. I ordered Thai tea and I got milk tea that she said was "Thai tea". Long wait and messed up order. It was 14 dollars for two bobas. Find another boba place, this one isn't worth it. read more

Driving through Fort Bragg and decided to stop for a milk tea. This is a newer cafe in the heart of historic downtown. It has a fresh interior and tables to sit. It's typical counter service. In addition to made to order milk teas, they have plenty of sweets. I didn't see much as far as cafe type goods: scones, muffins, or the like. But the milk tea is typical : pick your tea, pick your flavor, pick your toppings/boba. They did offer a few different "milks": non dairy, oat milk, almond milk. Pro tip: milk tea is usually 50% or more "milk product". If you want more tea, order it light milk. I was also able to ask for no sugar/sweetener. Yay! Prices are typical for a tourist town: a couple dollars more than your milk tea in frisco. read more

Awful milk tea.. kids at the counter take the orders but are clueless about their milk teas. Asked few questions such as, is the Okinawa milk tea green or black tea, answer was "I don't know".. I asked what is the crema like? Answer, "I don't know, it's a flavor", lol. Then they make the actual milk tea not knowing what goes in it.. I had really low expectations but thought it couldn't be that bad.. but it was, unfortunately. The jasmine milk tea had no sweetener at all and tasted like non dairy creamer and water. I like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to study or chill with friends. The boba drinks and goodies were all tasty and worthwhile. Very nice and patient employees that work hard and try to make drinks and give good service to customers. We stopped in yesterday as we saw they had bubble waffles, but learned they are usually just for weekends. Seeing our disappointment the owner offered to make them special for us for today. We ordered some macaroons in the meantime. We highly recommend them- chewy and lightly carmelised, and she even sneaked an extra into our bag. We went back today to get our waffles at the time we we had arranged. She was ready for us and had our warm bubble waffles ready to go along with a lovely cup of freshly cut fruit. It was wonderful- chewy and sweet, a perfect treat. I notice that some of the reviews here have been less than stellar, but our experience suggests otherwise. Walking down Main Street in Fort Bragg and we noticed the Boba sign...and we were craving for Boba. We ordered the avocado "shake" (which didn't turn out to be a shake) and tiger milk tea. My tiger milk tea tasted a lot like brown sugar milk tea, super sweet but good, boba was soft and chewy. The avocado shake was powdered milk tea, was not blended with ice after my friend verified that it was the blended drink they were ordering, they also had the boba. Stopped to get Thai tea was greeted and ordered. Took about 15-20 minutes for two teas. When she came back to take our card she threw it back down. I'm usually pretty understanding and patient with service workers but she was extremely rude. We also were given milk tea or some kind of other tea when we ordered Thai and when I tried to ask about it she just dismissed me and said it was Thai tea. We're frequent Thai tea drinkers and it didn't even barely taste like Thai tea. Overall it was a waste of money and time. read more

Takes way too long to get your order! Tea was bitter, boba dry and crunchy. Also the woman running it wasn't even in the shop, she was down the street and came running after she noticed she had a customer. Who leaves their shop unattended during business hours? If you just HAVE to have boba, know that this is not a good representation of what a real boba shop would serve. Never felt inclined to write a review before but felt that this place deserved it. Went here with my buddy to try it for the first time to order a boba drink. We were greeted by a lady who started out by saying there's better coffee up the street and we shouldn't feel like we had to buy something, not very welcoming to begin with. After ordering drinks and waiting for them outside it was time to pay, my buddy went first. It took her a couple of minutes to set up her equipment to charge us as she was having technical difficulties. When she swiped his card, she said she had to swipe it again because it didn't go through. My buddy then checked his bank account, and surely he was charged. He tried showing this to the lady but she didn't care. After asking for his card back she threw it at the ground in front of him and she stormed off. Well now it was my turn to pay, my buddy walked away for obvious reasons. I gave her my card and she was just saying how she was right and my buddy was wrong. I told her as a business owner she can't be disrespectful like that to customers. She passed me my card, told me to take my drink and never come back, she then slammed her window. She doesn't have to tell me that, as I or my buddy will never go back. After walking away I checked my bank account and saw that I was charged for both my drink and the one my buddy supposedly didn't pay for. So in the end we got 2 drinks for the price of 3 and to top it all off. It wasn't even good, we both tossed our drinks. Don't spend your money here. You'll be disappointed read more
