Honestly, I don't know how many stars to give. The coffee and drinks are delicious, the girls know how I like my coffee and that have it ready for me by the time I get to the window. The service is excellent. But, they talk too much and for a long time with certain customers and the lines, sometimes they are eternal, they don't care all the time you are waiting for, or if customers arrive late to work or school, my concept of a drive-thru, is supposed to be a fast service. read more

I'm so happy to have found a local coffee shop that offers a ton of sugar free syrups. My fiancé and I watch our sugar intake pretty closely. Sweeteners for coffee is where we try to cut it out since we have it daily. I'm so glad A Frame has something other than sugar free vanilla, which gets boring real fast (take note Starbucks! Bring back your other sugar free syrups!). It's perfect for anyone on keto who wants a morning sweet treat. We got a sugar free hazelnut latte and sugar free caramel latte. Both were delicious. The drive thru took longer than regular drive thru spots, so I don't recommend going there if you're in a rush. read more

Roasted: I was told to come here while visiting Fort Bragg as it was good coffee. It's a cute drive thru only store but they let us walk up since we didn't have the car with us. The employee working was super friendly and knew every customer who came through. Good menu - decent selection of syrups and sugar free options. Had food like bagels and burritos, they even had vegan options. The downfall here was the coffee was awful. Not drinkable - I had to dump it sadly. The espresso was not extracted right giving it a burnt taste, the milk was off - it tasted like it had been steamed more then once and I got all bubbles - not even a small amount of properly steamed milk foam. I was totally bummed that my $5 latte wasn't drinkable. Unroasted: the small a frame reminds of coffee reviews in Portland. Northern California is different than the rest of California. This coffee shop sit right on Main Street with great curb appeal. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable of the coffee. Lots of sugar free options and vegan/gf. Received coffee in timely manner only to realize at first sip this was completely undrinkable. The pure taste of syrup and terrible coffee shots. I could not finish through this at all. Wow, this was very disappointing. They only give you one shot standard in a drink, which is unheard of so essentially I got a medium latte for close to six dollars and it was just a cup of warm milk. I would not recommend. Stopped here on a whim as we needed some espresso to start our day. We both ordered flavored lattes. They only provide one shot of Expresso, so it was an additional charge... so you would get what? Mostly creamer in the 20 oz drink? Once received, our drinks had no flavor (other than burnt coffee). All the syrup was at the bottom of the cup and not mixed into the drink. We might as well went to MsDonalds, right next door, to get better coffee. There is no point in posting any photos. read more

This staff KNOWS customer service and they strive to make sure to ask enough questions to get your order right, this is becoming a lost art. The coffee is second to none and guaranteed to please. Up in Fort Bragg area for two weeks of holiday and decided to give this place a try. Have now driven through 8 times. Sometimes there's a line of cars, sometimes not. But even with a line, things move fairly quickly. My order each time has been exactly the same: 16oz decaf latte with oat milk. Quality and taste have been consistently tasty. And while not every barista I've interacted with has been smiles and cheer, nobody's been rude or unwelcoming. And let's be real: it's a busy drive through business off Highway 1. I want service to be efficient and get me on my way. My only quibble with A-Frame Expresso has been the price charged. Like I said, same drink every time. My drink has ranged in price from $3.75 to $4.50. The first couple of times I thought maybe it was a function of one barista over- or under-charging me. They have several rotating baristas who work there. But the funny thing is that it's now also happened with the SAME barista charging me DIFFERENT prices for the SAME drink on DIFFERENT days. I honestly can't tell you what a 16oz decaf oat milk latte should cost at A-Frame. All I know is that it's apparently somewhere within a 75 cent price differential. I'm on holiday, so any extra contributions to the local economy are not gonna ruin my day. And it's now become fun to play The Price is Right with my husband when we pull in for my coffee and try to guess the closest price without going over. But it makes me wonder how they reconcile a cash drawer at the end of a busy day. Do they even use a cash register? Maybe if I was a year round regular I'd care more. We drive thru Fort Bragg a few times a year for roadtrips, and we always stop here for coffee and bagels. I really enjoy their Funky Monkey, but sometimes the bananas aren't ripe and you can taste that. Customer service is usually fast and friendly, despite the early hours. The location is easy to get too as well, and there are two sides of the drive thru so it always goes quick. Definitely recommend the jalapeño bagel as well! read more

Drive thru food should be ready to eat in my opinion, so if I order a bagel with cream cheese, it should be on there when I get it.
