He knows I like cherryand just learned this year that I like chocolate. and that's how he chose this flavor. I tried some and it was so good. I loved the pieces. I could have done without the chocolate chips. I totally approve of the flavor. On my own I'd never picked this flavor. This shop is located in the heart of downtown Fort Bragg. Across from the Sea Glass Museum. Parking is all street parking. We found a spot right I. Spot. Street parking is free, but there is a two hour limited. So, if you're spending additional time downtown you'll have to move your car. The shop is new and clean. Even today Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 8pm (they close at 9) there was a steady stream of ice cream enthusiasts. They have so many loved flavors and some unique flavors such as mushroom and ginger. I should have tried them, but as I stated earlier I wasn't in the mood for ice cream. As much as I started not in the mood, I ate half his ice cream scoop. It was nice and soft. If you're looking for a sweet treat this is a must stop shop.

All kinds of great gifts, deli food, candy, bakery, produce, wine, liquor, fresh food in the deli, gifts, plants, home necessities, and the usual stuff found at grocery stores. I went in specifically to find Carol Hall's Kitchen's jalapeño jam. I bought one of those, a jalapeño berry mix and a blackberry jam. A friend swears by this brand. I also found some paper free, bamboo tissue. Easy to find employees, one didn't know where the items I needed were located. Another woman knew and told me which isles. The one unfamiliar with the store, at least the Irene I needed, came and found me to direct me to the right spot. I appreciate that. Checker rang up my items, the bagger banged them. Neither said much to me. The checker told me my total and the bagger asked if I wanted a bag. Customer service could be a bit more upbeat, eg, "hi, did you find what you needed, how's your day, thanks for coming in.

We had dinner at Petite Percebes/Good Bones on a trip to the Mendocino area in April…read more The service was pleasant and friendly, the space felt comfortable with both tables and couches (no live music at the time we visited), and everything we ate was delicious and nicely presented! Our favorites were: + Broiled oysters with bone marrow butter, Parmesan crema, and breadcrumb: although I'm not usually a huge fan of oysters, I did enjoy these particular ones! + Lemon cream pie with tangerine, lemon curd, brown butter graham, citrus marigold Chantilly: we split one slice of this pie, but I could've eaten a few more slices of the pie by myself (if my stomach had space left). Perfect ending to the meal. + Primavera panisse: crispy chickpea fritters topped with a variety of greens and flower petals. + Yuzu marigold kombucha (Wilder x Petite Percebes collaboration): this was a refreshing, lightly sweet complement to the heavier dishes of the meal. We also tried the cassoulet (which had roasted chicken thigh, Roundman's garlic sausage, pork belly, Heirloom beans - a heartier meaty dish); and the potato chowder with oyster mushrooms, spring greens, and wild nettle pistou (we loved the mushrooms in it). This spot is worth stopping by!

Inside was huge! Giant bar, tons of tables for dining, along with a stage where it looked like they hosted live music! We ordered our meals up at the front counter and took a seat in the dining area. I ordered a Golden State Mighty Dry cider and their grilled cheese sandwich with added caramelized onions and mushrooms. We were the only people inside, but food came out quick. Everyone was a huge fan of their meals. I loved my sandwich, the bread was absolutely delicious. Also was a huge fan of those mushrooms they used! We ended up leaving with a fresh baked loaf of bread when we left too for home. Service was great, food was on point, and loved the vibe they had going. Would love to come back to see some music one of these days.

Waiter was nervous, and did a fine job. Was quick to attend, and got our drinks and soup right out to us. Had to wait for the meals, but that's ok. Had the rock cod sandwich with Caesar salad and one of us had the garlic clams and linguine. Loaded with clams (in their shells, not canned) and the flavor was great. A salad would have been a nice touch with it, but it was a good meal. The sandwiches were ok. The lettuce for it was wilted from being under a heat lamp. The sauce with it lacked flavor, we were expecting a chipotle spicier sauce. It appeared to be a thousand island tartar sauce creation. It was good though. The Caesar was doused in dressing, tasted good and the anchovies were a nice touch. Being a local, it would be nice to tell out of towners to dine there. Standard fare, prices about the same as anywhere else here. The view is the highlight, watching the boats, sea lions and other wildlife is well worth the price.

We arrived around 4:30 or so and seated in the main dining room with a window seat. Our server offered us fresh bread and butter, (not would you like to order) which we were charged $3. Pretty sneaky. Ok, place was recently renovated so not a surprise. We ordered Halibut fish and chips. Menu said it came with a salad. We decided to share the dish and ordered a side salad as well. We did enjoy the Harbor view as we waited for our food. First off the temp of the fish was slightly above warm. They advertise the breading as "beer battered" then rolled in panko. There was nothing light and airy or flavorful about the breading, matter of fact there was no flavor at all. My sister equated the fish to being pulled out of the freezer and tossed into the fryer. The salad was an average salad, nothing memorable about the taste. We also realized there was no Chips to "Fish and chips". When we asked our server she said we didn't get "chips" because we had salad. That was not the description of the dish on the menu but I wasn't going to press the matter because We didn't need the extra tasteless calories. The only thing that made this meal was the great view, not the food. The service was average.

If you're hungry and are exploring the area around the shops and train may have better luck with your food choices than we did. We decided to share the fish and chips, clam chowder daily special and a piece of banana pie. The server overlooked us after we sat, but had a good sense of humor after I got her attention and we joked about it. After that the service between the two waitresses was spot on and friendly. We asked if the fish and chips could be made into have fish half shrimp, which they did. The food came out quickly and was hot, but the flavor of all the food from the fryer oil was way off. It tasted like burnt peanut oil, just gross. The fish was the only semi tasty item in my opinion. The soup was gritty and thick, and the banana pie had a bland fluffy stale tasting crust. Again, we didn't expect much from this deli but ya never know and our chance of a tasty snack was a fail. I'd give 4 stars for service and 1 star for food.
