And my partner had a very generous ceviche, part of which made it back to the hotel for snacks tomorrow. The aspect of a gluten free menu made my partner very happy. The bread has gluten but we were offered the gluten free option which we passed on this time. Also offered a substitute local sav blanc which paired well with the pork belly. Need to take pics next time. Next time was the next day, the gluten free thing made this an easy decision and I remembered to take pics beforehand. Grilled Octopus was tasty. We shared the seared ahi tuna and holy crap it was the bomb. The wasabi aioli and chili crunch was over the top yum. Just enough heat and the mixed berry sorbet will sort you out if the heat gets you. Also got the gem salad which was a great complement and breather between the starter and entree

I licked all the garlic off of the shell. inside seating. there's also outdoor seating which is under a tent, a bit humid butyou get used to it. the train runs through maybe every 15 mins and it is crazy loud. it commands the whole room's attention, everyone must look at it, because you just cant talk over that loudness. it was fun to wave to some passsngers. the semifreddo dessert was wonderful! a frozen mouse, chocolate flavor with strawberries on top.

Came with a wedding party for a group lunch at Princess Seafood Restaurant on Friday…read more I got the full crab roll with clam chowder and a cherry cider to wash it all down. The crab was sweet and delicious. They definitely did not skimp out on the amount of crab in the crab roll which was great. I liked the creamy and thickness of the clam chowder and was really glad that it wasn't too salty which is usually my fear. I really enjoyed the cherry cider as my beverage. It is refreshing, fruity, and light. It tastes like juice pretty much. Just a nice touch of sweetness and acidity to balance out the meal. I was grateful to the employees for getting our orders out in a timely fashion. There was a bit of a mix up with some of the orders but it happens with big parties and for the most part everything was correct! Overall, I had a great meal here and would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

If you're thinking this place feels like any other seafood place in a tourist town (malibu,…read moremonterey, etc), then prepare to have your viewpoints altered. While the checkered paper, fresh seafood, outdoor seating and walk up to order may all be part of the experience, this is probably the best seafood I've had in one of these beach towns. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, crab sandwich with chowder and blackened cod plate. The shrimp cocktail contains a surprising amount of shrimp for the price - and you can definitely taste how fresh the shrimp is! The crab sandwich was pretty good and light, but I feel like the blackened cod overshadowed everything. The cod was so flavorful, and you get 4-5 pieces. It's a cajun style seasoning where you can taste the spice - to a point it may be a little too spicy for people with low spice tolerance. The bread is buttered and the salad is fresh - you could not ask for a better meal. The clam chowder is a little different from most other places; they add some seasonings and spice to the chowder so it's not the traditional creamy, heavy soup you're expecting. It's like clam chowder premium, I prefer their version over a more traditional version. The view of the turquoise colored water is amazing from their indoor patio, as it's covered in windows. They also have an outdoor patio where you can take pictures of the color. The line to order was quick, but we saw that the line can get long with extended wait times depending on customer numbers. Water is self serve, and you also bus your own plates. When visiting Fort Bragg, you have to come to eat here, for the food, the view, and the service!

They will call out your number and give you your food. There is a good amount of seating, but it does get crowded! I have tried the clam chowder, fish n chips, and fried oysters. Everything was good! I've tried bland fish n chips in the past but this place has a lot of flavor to everything, even the fries. There isn't too much batter either.

The taste and presentation of the food equals the heart in creating the dishes. This is why it pains me greatly to award 2 of 5 stars. We ordered 1 clam chowder bowl, one in a cup and a fish sandwich. The eatery was busy but it is no excuse for receiving the clam chowders before the sandwich was completed. My family completed their meals and I waited. I let the waiter and then 20 minutes later, the head hostess know that I still waited for them to create a simple fish sandwich. "It will be out soon was my reply instead of compensation. When mistakes occur, you stop what you are creating to make the order straight away. This was not the case. 45 minutes after my group was done, I finally received my meal. I mourn for the fine memory that I had of this restaurant and will give them 1 more chance to make amends someday in the future.

There are a few staples that garner much of the out of towners attention. Laurel Street Deli should be one of them. My kid and I got looking for food late and were met by long lines. We decided to walk to the Deli and found a seat. Famous for their coffee and pies, we sat. My son, a breakfast sweets connoisseur, devoured the French Toast. I was in a biscuits and gravy mood but chose a Benedict instead. It is one dish everyone has a twist too, they are either very good or blah! This one hit a homerun (baseball can't come soon enough), it lasted less time than my sons.... finally a sport I can beat him in. Not pictured was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had.
