I would do a zero if I could. After ordering a few burgers I had to wait in the parking lot with other cars, my order was then passed to another car and handled around and then brought in. While this McDonalds is much better than it's brother on Route 9, it still holds it's unredeeming qualities. I'm sure everyone and their mother has complained about the impractical, elementary school level drive thru design. I think everyones first thoughts after seeing two lanes must have been something along the lines of "Who the fuck designed this?" or "How the fuck does this even work?". Everyone expected this to turn out to be convenient, despite it's strangeness, but it never became that. To this day, it's still stupid, it's still the work of some undergraduate, unlicensed architect. Half the time they get the orders mixed up, something they should have considered before even planning this mess. Recently, me and a few friends came into the establishment to eat in. We ordered fine, there was a little wait despite being the only ones there, but it was alright. We sat down to eat around 9:30 pm, and we must have beat the croud because right then, 20 more people must have shown up. The funny thing is that we originally went inside because of the 20+ cars in the drive-thru(s), so the kitchen was already busy. All of the sudden, I look up because I heard the manager woman screaming "HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING IN? I LOCKED THE DOORS". I guess this management likes to make their work easy and locks their doors 5 hours before they close. But what kept this fiasco running was that these kids were banging on the glass trying to get in. It felt like a scene from the Walking Dead, so many people were trying to get in. So these kids just kept opening the door for their friends, and the manager was about to explode because it was just her and one worker in the kitchen for some reason. Just the other day, my friend ordered her food, and I was up next. However, I ended up waiting 10 minutes to order one ice cream cone because after my friend ordered, the manager told the only cashier to finish the orders that were already backed up, and then yelled in a loud booming voice, "THAT'S AN ORDER" like he was a drill sergeant trying to relive his younger years. Management here seems to mirror the McDonalds on Route 9 in terms of laziness. Every night the manager ends up having to do all the grunt work because the normal workers aren't competent enough to do simple work. read more

All I can say is the manager there is a total jerk. I know its mcds and I don't expect a great service. That being said I ordered ice coffee which they screwed up and made a hot coffee. No problem right....... wrong this jerk manager questioned me for 5 min as there was a 1 dollar difference between hot and iced which I offered to pay. I don't go here often, but they have gotten my order completely wrong 4 out of my last 4 visits. Each time, when I approached the manager about it, they are always "very sorry" but nothing ever changes and nothing is ever done to fix the situation. I was given a couple of coupons for free sandwiches one time, but I don't want free food - I just want my food fixed the way it was ordered. Today's visit was likely my last - I don't have the time to keep going back to (try) to have things fixed, or to keep calling and wait on hold to talk to a manger who then does nothing at all. This is literally THE WORST McDonald's Restaurant you could EVER go to. Customer Service is terrible! They don't care about your well being. They don't even bother to ask how your day is or even smile or be polite. They're employees walk around wearing they're own clothing and not they're uniform. I must be a glutton for punishment for going back to this location again. Went to the drive-thru and lo and behold, i was missing 2 items yet again (surprise, surprise!). Decided to go inside to get the missing Fries and apple slice instead of going through the drive-thru thinking it would take less time. Big mistake! Stood there for at least 5 minutes without being helped because everyone seemed to be busy setting up the take out bags for the drive-thru. I finally got tired of waiting and got back in my car and went to the drive-thru. Told the guy who was manning the window that he forgot to put in my fries and 1 package of apple slice. He handed me a bag and luckily I checked inside before I drove off and he only put in the fries! Had to tell him again about the apple slice. Again like the previous times, no apology and no offer of compensation for wasting my time. This will be the last time I will go to this place. I'll just head over to Burger King or Chic Fil'a next time I have the fast food craving. They have way better service. McDonalds you just lost my business. This was a one of the nicest McDonalds I've seen in some time. The place is really clean and looks really modern. The food was good and service was pretty quick. My only complaint is that whenever I go to McDonalds, the people always look so depressed/ unwelcoming, esp. at this location. The women helping me was just really rude and seemed very angry. This is not a rant against McDonald's in general; clearly, they serve a purpose. This location is open 24 hours and has a new facility with a large drive-through. The problem is that they ALWAYS get the order wrong. If you order anything out of the ordinary--for example, with no cheese, it will arrive with cheese. Lately since the arrival of Chic Filet next door it's been a crap shoot in the early evening when they will lock up the dining room and force you to use the drive through. They constantly forget something in the order so I really don't like using it as I can't check my order as easily .The help are all on their cell phones even have their ear buds in on the register. Hey all check it out! Don't go to the drive thru take the time to go in and mess around with the touch screens. You can do crazy stuff with your McGriddles now. I got a steak egg and cheese mcriddle but I swapped the rubber scrambled egg for a round egg, and the american cheese to the white cheddar. Just be careful and patient because they don't know how to check your slips yet and there is no way to swap your coffee for an iced one, but you can add as much ice as you want to a hot one. If you're patient with the new system it will work out great for you and you'll love the idea of those extra options! read more

This McDonald may have updated their out of date fast food chain location but in doing so service declined. The food it just sub par now compared to what you would get in Asia way better McDonalds. Been here never had any problems till now. Order threes items off the menu and only received two out of three. I was so exhausted of a long day of work didn't even bother to drive back there. I used the remodel as an excuse to have something unhealthy on my "cheat" day. It all looks great, there's not a lot to report b/c everyone knows how the damn nuggets taste but lets talk about the girl who took my order with the major CHIP on her shoulder. I don't eat fast food regularly, usually one or two times a year if that. So when I pull up I don't know which number meal I want or which special sauce (especially since they now have all those new ones). If I could give this location a 0 I would. Rude and worst customer service I have ever seen. I ask for fries without salt and when I got them they tasted so old. Which makes no sense since they should be freshly dipped and not sprinkled with salt...hard concept to grasp apparently. I went to ask for fresh fries and the blonde manager replied with "I do not understand..they have no salt...when you get them without salt they are oily". So she basically just admitted to re dipping the old fries so the salt is removed..which is why they were soggy and old tasting. She finally gave me new fries...did not realize it was in their job description to argue with the paying customer. My boyfriend asked for no onions on his burger specifying it was an allergy not a preference. Good thing he checked under the bun because there was stray onions everywhere. We chose to toss the burger rather than complain because of her poor attitude in regards to the fry situation minutes before. I have had problems with this location before. I understand it is fast food with low quality but come on..you are asking for 15 an hr and cannot even keep a smile on your face...you deserve less than minimum wage...pathetic. It's not particularly abnormal for a McDonald's staff to be incompetent. Honestly, I would say that because it's McDonald's, it may even be par for the course. I can accept the fact that service is usually mediocre at best, that the food is of average quality at best, and that the establishments are not always clean - with fast food, you truly get what you pay for. However, I have never in my life received such utterly unacceptable and unprofessional treatment from ANY food service corporation or customer service. When I went to this McDonald's tonight, it being the only 24-hour establishment in the area, they took my order. When I drove up to the drive-thru window, the guy at the window informed me that the food I ordered was no longer available and I would have to order off the breakfast menu (it was actually more like, "sorry, I have no idea what's going on, I was just hanging out in the freezer, we only have breakfast now"). I asked what was on the breakfast menu, and neither of the staff members I spoke to could tell me anything that was available (one of them said "tell me what you wanted and I'll try to tell you what's similar" - are you kidding me?). Again, this lack of organization is par for the course - I was frustrated, but accepted the fact that the night staff is not always the most knowledgeable. I drove around and went through the drive-thru again to view the breakfast menu, and placed my order for the second time. When I pulled up to the window, they gave me my food. I asked for a receipt, which they refused to give me. I then checked the contents of the bag, knowing that they likely messed up the order (like they usually do). Sure enough, they left out one of the sandwiches I ordered, so I drove around for the THIRD time to ask them to replace the sandwich they forgot. At this point, the night manager came over. I don't know her name, but she's always there during the night shift, and she wears glasses and a dirty blonde ponytail. I've seen her there on multiple previous occasions, and her attitude ranges from flippant to downright rude. After screwing up my order twice, I don't think it's unfair to expect a little bit of decorum and professionalism, especially from a manager who is supposed to set an example for her staff. Instead of rectifying the situation, the night manager accused me of calling her and her employees "bitches", something that simply did not happen. So on top of messing up my order multiple times, forcing me to go around the drive-thru repeatedly, and refusing to give me a receipt for my order, she also had the nerve to make a rude, baseless accusation for no good reason. Then she rudely spit out, "What do you want?" As I was waiting for the missing sandwich to be added to my order, I heard her making some snide remarks about me to her employees, and that was the point at which I decided I'd had enough. Again, I understand that McDonald's employees are not always reliable. I understand that the service, the cleanliness, and the food are not always reliable. But I expect ANY manager to be professional and polite, not rude, combative and incompetent. I have worked enough customer service to understand that throwing around accusations and swears in front of employees and patrons is never, ever appropriate. I will be returning this weekend to make a complaint to the day manager about this terrible, inept and childish McDonald's manager. I don't hold vendettas and I would normally never write something so negative about a specific employee, but I really think she deserves to be fired. Not just because of her horrible attitude and poor customer service abilities, but because of the example she sets for the other employees. This really is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. I recently did two 1800 mile road trips in the last three weeks. Hence,I go to a lot of McDonalds all over the east coast. THIS IS THE WORST ONE. The owners clearly do not care about it. Probably because it is very busy, so they make their money , so why should they care? I have called the toll free number 4 times in the last year about this location. Each time I had to leave a message. Each of the calls were because I got the wrong order at the drive through and have to go inside. I also reported the uncleanliness. They do not call back. So I figured I'd turn to Yelp. First, this McDonald's is ALWAYS filthy. Many tables have trash on them. Most tables have something dried on up on them like ketchup. And there are always french-fries all over the floor as well as trash and dried up stickiness! The area where you get your drinks is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT go through the drive through. They can't handle the double drive through. You will get the wrong order. last night I decided to go inside and get my order at the counter because again, you can't trust the drive through. Well that did not work either! I got the completely wrong order. Neither of the things I ordered were in the bag. Get ready for the Comedy routine... I go back. "this is wrong" "I ordered a grilled chicken and a Quarter Pounder with cheese (QPC) with no onions". " I got a big mac with no pickles and a crispy chicken with Cheese and no mayo". They re-do my order. I got a crispy chicken (again ordered a grilled chicken) and a QPC with no Mustard (it had onions). WRONG! They tried again. They put a grilled chicken in the bag (or so I thought) and a QPC with PICKLES AND ONIONS ONLY. Wrong! Next I got a QP NO CHEESE with ONIONS ONLY. Wrong! So they take the burger which at this time is cold, the man hands it to a lady who opens it, flips the onions off in a huff (because apparently its my fault) squirts Ketchup and mustard on it, slaps on pickle and two slices of cold cheese and gives it back to me. So I got a STONE COLD QPC (the cheese did not even melt) but at least it was done right. So I left. Ate the QPC, It was cold and gross. Then, I open my grilled chicken box and what's in there?... get ready for it... a crispy chicken (not grilled) WITH ONIONS ONLY. No Lettuce, no tomato and no mayo. JUST ONIONS. I am truly baffled that nobody else has posted complaints about the manager that works at night. My friends and I attend the University near by, but let me point out that I am not rude, mean, drunk, under any sort of influence, or anything when I go through the drive thru. I am writing this because I can understand when somebody has a bad day and can be a little grouchy towards customers, fine; but when this woman has lied to me, swore at me, and disrespected both myself and my friends there's a problem. This is however the only person I've ever had problems with (after 11:00pm), I do not know her name but I am pretty positive she is a manager (white, speaks English, brown hair). Every time she takes our order it is at least a 5 min wait, yes I understand they are busy but there are two lines for a reason. When I speak into the mic she is always rude and impatient. When I finally drive up to pay she has told me before that she hopes my friend "s**t's herself" because she asked if they had an open bathroom, called me a b**ch because I asked for extra ketchup, called my boyfriend an ahole because he gave her the wrong change by mistake, and once lied to me and told me the mcflurry machine was broken (even though the people in the car in front of me and in back of me both had mcflurrys- not ordered through her). After one of these encounters I called and asked to speak to a manager, although it was the same woman's voice I explained to her what happened and that it was not the first time. She did not apologize and said she'd give me a free cheeseburger if I did not call corporate. All I wanted was the problem to be fixed, not a cheeseburger. This woman still works there, and is just as mean. Also, they ALWAYS forget something or a few things and I don't have time to sit in the 15 min line again.
