We walk in and there's the store manager and what looks like two other guys possibly from mc Donald's corporate office. Keep in mind these jerks are standing maybe 3 feet behind us. We're in line, one crew member is purchasing food for himself right if us and don't even acknowledge us, other crew members helping other people that were asking for extra stuff that had already ordered. Came in for a quick bite. It was FILTHY. Floors tables counters. Actually had ants crawling on the food counter. Called the manager and her reply was just that they didn't have enough people?!? WTF?? This review is for the new McDonalds location in Fallbrook across from their old location... located between Mission and Main. I ordered a large number one and added bacon (3 strips - confirmed by the order taker). When I got home (2 minute drive) I opened up the sealed bag. The bag was sealed with a sticker claiming my meal was "Double checked for accuracy." WHAT A JOKE... My large fries was 2/3 full and were stale. I threw them away. My Big Mac with bacon had only two strips of bacon not three. They have also raised their prices so while this meal typically costs 9.04 (with bacon), this time it cost 9.47 (nearly a 5% increase in cost). My previous experience in this new location should have warned me off... the previous day I went in at 10:31 (cell phone time) for lunch. Their breakfast menu was still up on the screen and I told them I was there for lunch. They told me I had to wait another 4 minutes. I told them it was 10:30 and pulled out my phone. They told me it was not 10:30 until their automated menus switched from breakfast to lunch. I looked behind me and there was no one else waiting to order food. I was the only new order. I looked at the manager and asked if he was kidding. He wasn't.... I walked out and got a burger and Jack in the Box down the street. FAIL on all levels. I will not be returning and recommend anyone looking to for a burger or fries look elsewhere. Don't let the new location fool you - the food is more expensive, and was either stale or not put together properly. Yes it is only one strip of bacon... but when I'm paying extra for it, I don't expect to get 66% of what I am paying extra for. Double checked for accuracy my a$$. This place has been my savior for days I'm too sick to prepare food. I have an autoimmune condition and sometimes getting food prepared and cleaned up is exuberantly difficult for four people. On days I'm feeling exceptionally sick, I can order two deluxe breakfast and feed my whole family for $10 (if you include my coffee!) Which is even too much food for two boys, a man, and myself. Also, the exmployees are super sweet and are always happy and gentle. And this McDonalds has NEVER gotten my order wrong. I'm not a fan of the actual food there, but as a business, McDonalds despite their representation of over-consumerist America, is a excellent business who listens to their customers wants and needs, and changes to make their customers satisfied. When I get food from McDonald's I obviously know what kind of quality I am getting. So this review is not about the food served here. It is about the service. I got to the drive thru at 10:56 and started ordering. I ordered 2 egg and cheese biscuits and specifically said no sausage patty on both. I also ordered 2 has browns and 2 donut sticks. The guy taking my order stopped talking to me for a total of 4 mins until it was 11am and then finally come back when I said "did you get that?" He then responded "we don't serve donut sticks after 11am. So this guy waited 4 minutes to respond to me just so he could be accurate about it being 11am and not have to make the donut sticks. I said "really, we missed it by one second because you went radio silence on me for 4 mins?" The guy didn't even respond. I let it go and when I pulled up to get my order, there was sausage on both biscuits. I handed the bag back to the lady and told her we said no sausage. She gave it to another male employee who returned within seconds with what he said were new biscuits. I looked in the bag and they had unwrapped both of the biscuits and just pulled off the sausage. I asked for the manager, she came out and I told her what happened. She had them remake the biscuits with just cheese and egg, however didn't apologize or anything. I very much was and am impressed with how well they handle their mistakes. To admit to fault is not that easy and most people will not, instead they shy away from the problem by taking their responsibility out of the equation. There have been several times that they have made mistakes but every time they have owned up and fixed the problem even going above and beyond their fixing the issue. They do make you feel very valued as a costumer, they remember you and your orders if and when you are making repeat visits, they 99% of the time they have a pleasant and welcoming attitude- leaving you wanting to return. Although they are fast food, many times it doesn't feel like it, so very rare!!! I'd actually give them 4.5 stars. Its awesome to find such a great place to eat that you actually look forward to visiting! Thank you to the Management and staff!!! read more

"Wow, Do I really have to give Mac Donalds a bad review?" OK now, the food is what it is, I know what I'm putting inside me, and I probably went to Mac Donalds the day after I watched Supper Size Me. This is my complaint, It's not busy, it's just before ten on a Saturday night. I drive up to the robot and a deep woman's voice , no a deep, annoyed, sounding woman's voice asked how can I help you? But I swear by sound alone it felt like, I interupted their break. I gave them my word and proceeded to the second window . The cost was $6.36 . And as I knew that there was a younger gentleman I would say late teens early twenties that said $6:36 as he greeted me at the window. I handed him a ten dollar bill ,one quarter, one dime, and one penny. He took only the $10 and turned back towards the register. I said hey hey wait a minute, I have some change for you. He reached out and as I handed him to change either the time or the penny fell in between the building and my truck. Since he had the change in his hand now I asked him was at the time or the penny ? He looked out on the ground in told me that it was a penny. So I said I got it done and does he finish the transaction he gave me $3.90 cents back. I politely said no no no I don't want all the change that's why I gave you the $0.36 with the dime in my hand. From that point on he grunted and did not speak with me again through the rest of the transaction no thank you though goodnight and made me feel as I had some ridiculous request. I'm 44 years old Generation X. The generation who has cell phones now learn how to be polite carry on a conversation with someone and do their job well. I just don't get it, it's not that I'm turning into a grumpy old man, more like mobile phones have replaced social skills, etiquette, and learning to being ladies and gentlemen. Jul 03 '17 My husband and I were here about 3 pm and ordered a couple of meals. Isaiah was very nice, helpful & professional, until this lady manager (on a red shirt) ruined my day. Why? While Isaiah was getting my salad & dressing, I asked this lady manager if i can have 2 cups so i can get a drink while Isaiah was prepping our order. Guess how she responded to me? Quote, "He (Isaiah) is getting your salad, and he will give you your cups when he is done, ok?" Woaaah, my blood rushed to my head and responded, "can't either of them get me a cup since they're just standing there? (2 workers- 1standing on her right and the other on her left)... it is freaking hot outside and we are so thirsty that we needed a drink!" This guy on her right immediately got me the cups. And mind you, I was the only customer!! Now, tell me what kind of customer service you got? We will never come back to your place not 'til you send this lady manager to a course to learn how to respect and give importance to customers who makes your company rich. Just went through the drive thru and only ordered a Dr.Pepper and Carmel Frapp. The DP had soda dripping down the sides when handed to me and the clerk(maybe manager) immediately turned away to talk to her coworkers, so I had to raise my voice to get her attention. When she turned back to me she was all bad attitude when repeated my request to have her wipe down the sides of the cup. Jeez nobody wants to hold or put I sticky cup into the car cup holder. A very poorly managed McDonalds. And I'm just talking about the drive thru. I've never been inside. The food is the same as every other McDonalds, mediocre at best. However, their drive thru is horrible!! If you must go here, always ask for a receipt from the drive thru cashier!! Because, you will need it at the service window. This place will ALWAYS short you on your order!! Myself or family members have been here maybe 8 times in the last 3 months. Usually only because we're desperate for something different. Each time we've been here, we've been shorted at least 1 ordered item. Not something little like a hash brown, but an entire sandwich. It's like their entire staff doesn't know how to count!!! My son went through here the other night and ordered a 20 piece Chicken McNugget and when he got home there was only 16 pieces! And no, he didn't snack on them on the way home. This morning was the final straw. I ordered 5 different breakfast sandwiches, 2 hash browns and a coffee for some of my family members. I asked for the receipt, because I knew I was going to need it. At the window, I got my coffee, check, then the food bag, missing 2 sandwiches!!! Only 3 out of 5 in there!! I said I'm missing 2 items, the window employee asks me what items are missing!! I said I don't know at a glance I only counted what's in the bag. You should try it sometime!!! I showed them my receipt and they finally figured it out!! Everyone knows what to expect when they eat at McDonalds. The food was as always consistent with every other McDonalds. The reason I am giving 2 stars is for the Service which was really bad and I was being helped by the Supervisor. She was rude and short, left me waiting for 10 min while she filed every ones else's order and didn't even acknowledge I was there or that she would be right with me till about 10 min later. Supervisors are suppose to lead by example but this one was horrible. Also I wanted a hamburger with no cheese but regardless of what I ordered I was being charged for cheese since every hamburger comes with cheese which you are charged for regardless if you want it or not.
