I just ran in this time to grab a McMuffin for my grandmother. The cashier seemed a bit frazzled and annoyed due to the system/cash not working well and I felt for her. We waited in the drive-thru for **an hour and a half**, and somehow our food was cold by the time we got it. Our order was wrong, so we had to correct it, and then they forgot **all of our drinks** and we had to correct them AGAIN. When we eventually went inside to use the bathroom, there were several employees just sitting around, which made the extremely long wait even more frustrating. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but waiting 1.5 hours only to receive cold food and an incorrect order is ridiculous. Second time I have gone to this location for breakfast , and had to hear a "high pitched" staff member yelling at his staff and belittling them. I will not be back and will just hit up Granville NY before going here again. Food is better prepared, and won't have to listen to the guy in FH or feel embarrassed for his poor staff. If I were the morning staff; I would quit. Note: the late night staff is always friendly but also should have more support than they get for a closing shift. The food was fast and fresh and yummy and the service was so amazing. We're elderly and the ordering screen was a bit tricky for us, but they were so patient and sweet to us. The decor and ambience was the best we've seen at any McDonald's in the country and we've traveled all over - from our home base in FL. Beautiful and comfortable. read more

Concerned that cost of Sausage McMuffin with egg has cost so much. Today, we were charged 7.99 each, even tho the national McDonald's menu shows it is generally 6.59. And still, the cost of the same sandwich would have been almost 5.00 less without the egg -- even tho the cost of eggs is way back down. read more

My worst McDonald's experience ever. I enjoy McDonald's as my preferred fast food option because the food quality and service are second to none. That was until tonight. After getting a late start on my trip back to NJ, I decided to stop at the Fairhaven, VT McDonald's for a 2 cheeseburger value meal. I arrived at the drive thru at 10:45 pm where I placed my order. My food server and cashier were both pleasant and welcoming this is where the good in this review ends. In short, I received two cheeseburgers that looked like they were stepped on and both were doused with excessive ketchup and mustard. Both were very messy. At this point I was too far to turn around. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! RATHER EAT DOG FOOD!! Food took 25 minutes to get ready, and there were almost no customers waiting on food. Our order was completely wrong, and when we finally got it the fries were colder than a winter in Antarctica. My brother's burger was completely burned, and not a single ice cream, smoothie, or shake was available. The whole service was horrific, except for one middle-aged tattooed man who was extremely friendly and apologetic. This McDonald's is just over the NY state line and in VT. Very easy on and off route 22A. We stopped in here to pick up coffees. It was pretty empty for a Saturday morning and we received our drinks very quickly. I really like the coffee from here and it's only $1 for any size. The exterior of the building looks quite ramshackle, but the interior was all renovated and more modern looking. If you get soda, they have a station where you can fill your cup. I spotted a few picnic tables out front, so that's an option if you want to catch some rays. Bathrooms were clean, but kind of old, they could use an update. read more

Where do I start! First and foremost if you do go here check the bag and all it's contents before you leave because 9/10 times they will leave something off or forget something. The staff is rude and the food is inconsistent, it's either cold or over cooked no in between. Sometimes they will be blasting loud personal music inside the kitchen. Last month I overheard them talking about doing drugs while they were making food in the back! I was shocked. Make sure to check your food for eyelash's too because I found a nice one on my sandwich tonight. They do not care one bit about giving good service! Do not go here. I will NOT be back. I Went to purchase a deluxe crispy chicken sandwich and also wanted to use my deal which was "make a minimum purchase of $1 and get a free crispy chicken sandwich" to get another sandwich, (2 sandwhiches). I got to the second window and did not get the free sandwich and was told that they "promoed" my deluxe sandwich. so I did not get the two sandwiches I wanted, I only got the deluxe. Do not go to the McDonald's in Fairhaven Vermont!!! Every single time of the handful of times I have eaten there, I have gotten sick after to the point I have twice thrown up from eating there. I just recent seen a post on Facebook that made sense as to why I was getting sick. It was warning people not to eat there and had full proof pictures to go along with it. They have black mold in multiple places and the place is just dirty let alone ran by a bunch of teenagers half the time. The food is always like Nike warm especially the fries. Once went there at 10 at night and they had rap music playing dancing fooling around. Another time we went there and it was only 10:30 and they close at 11pm but came outside when we pulled up to the drive threw and said they were closed but yet there was multiple employees inside and all the lights on. This is the most consistent McDonalds I've ever been to. The staff is always rude, the food is always cold, and there is always at least a 10 minute wait for food. Good luck trying to say anything the owner doesn't return calls or emails and the staff in such high turn over the complaint will go no where. Also if you have a disability you can count on being mocked, made fun of and the staff will be as disrespectful to you as possible. My rating is actually not directed at the food, but the staff. One particular staff member actually. We went there yesterday Saturday 7/29/17. We had been traveling through for a race we were attending in West Haven. Our day started at 6am, and we arrived in town early and decided we would stop in for lunch as our McDonald's locally has been under construction for awhile. Looking to just sit and relax outside of the truck we ordered and sat down. My fiance for person/medical reasons prefers his hamburgers with onions only, you would think it was a simple request. The first order was incorrect and he went back to the counter requested the correction. After waiting again, he came back and went to eat again, and again it was wrong. This time I went to the counter, requested it be corrected again. When the cashier took the hamburgers back the grill cook exclaimed loud enough for an entire front end of customers to hear "Who in the hell in their right mind would order hamburgers with only onions!" She was upset she had to remake the order again. It was very embarrassing. The Store Manager did over hear it as well, and let her know she could be heard up front. I hope more was said to her afterwards in private, the customers in the restaurant then looked at US like we were the ones creating the scene. I actually kept my temper at this, she does not know his story and it was very disrespectful for her to react to her error in that manner. We can not judge the food because we immediately requested a bag so we could take it to go but we actually never ate it. We actually wish we had just returned the entire meal and requested a refund. Well, this is a McDonalds, so you know exactly what to expect from the food. The reason for this review is that the staff here is exceptionally friendly, almost always recognizing locals. And they give discounted organic coffee to seniors. It's a real meeting place for locals, especially senior citizens in the late mornings. read more
